This store is so messed up. They had problems with registers supervisors were MIA. I went to the front to pay and found my car hit with a cart when I get out went to complaint they send me to 1800walmart they told me a store had to do a report . I go in with the claims department on the phone to customer service when I told them I have the claims department on the phone and was told to talk to customer service about the report the employees left like cockroaches exposed to light. I was arguing with the guy on the phone about how they all left. He didnt believe me so I moved next to the registers so customers and employees can here on speaker phone. This was the only way I actually got a supervisor. They filled out the report 50 minutes after going into the store. To file. Today I get a call from Walmart I reviewed my dash cam and explained a customer pushed the cart into my car because he was arguing with the cart attendant refused to take the cart, at least that's how the body language between them looked. So theystated it does not be covered because a customer did it. What a joke I should just sue but the damage is not enough to make it worth sueong. Was a big Walmart fan till now. I was waiting for optical to open (website says it opens at 10am but it was not open until noon). Since I had time I decided to do the monthly shopping for my family of 8. [I usually shop Sams online and pickup the order, since the order is usually very large.] I went to check out with my cart overfull with mostly meat. But there were no cashiers. Exactly zero staffed checkout lines open. I went to customer service and asked if they will open a line and they said 'no' and to go to self-checkout. I explained that self checkout with this many groceries including lots of produce and meat would be tough. And that I would really like a checker. They said no so I said I would have to leave my cart and someone would have to reshop which would take longer than checking me out. They said that was fine. So I took pictures and they called security because I took pictures. Btw security did not care about my pictures. Here they are. No more walmart. No more Sams. read more

Can you say the word .... LIVID! ok I get it. We are in the month of December. It is very busy. Blah blah blah. Places are short staffed. I get it. But I'm sorry I ordered my groceries because I wasn't feeling well enough to walk the isles First they put a two hour delay on my pick up time which was fine. Then they send me the text that my order is ready for pick. Cool! So I go to get it and do what the prompts tell me to do. Say what parking spot I'm in, list The color of my car etc etc. then I proceed to watch a ton of other cars sitting there waiting and pulling out without their groceries. I end up sitting there for an HOUR!!!!! can't get anyone on the phone. I call the number that is attached to the spot your in and it tells me the mailbox is full. Then I call a 1800 number to cancel my order as I needed to get to my doctors appt after waiting a whole hour. But now my order on the app is still pending. I'm Still waiting to be credited back my money and the stupid app still has me as If as of today the next Morning as if I'm still in spot 13 and connected to their gps on my damn Phone. So this morning I was on the phone again being told to wait another day for the credit or even show that they will be crediting my card when I still have to now go to a store and do a full shop so I Have food in my house. I get it people are short handed but then don't offer a service you clearly can't provide when you don't have the man power. Because now what is happening is people are ordering still and the store has what little staff they have picking the orders but then having to restock them as well because they can't get the orders out which is ridiculous. Sorry but management needs to find a better way because that episode the other day has lost me as a customer for sure. Meanwhile I'm still waiting for them to refund the 150$ hold they Have on my card and put the cancellation of the order through and my phone is still connected to their app saying I'm there. Walmart get your act together and answer your phones!!!!!!! Stop offering a service that u just can't provide. I can't tell you how many people I watched pull out without getting their food. It's Walmart. Worth the hassle - great prices and pretty much anything under the sun that you want to buy! I love their prices on makeup, toys and pet supplies the most but overall, GREAT prices throughout! Years ago, I used to get my children's baby supplies here and you couldn't beat Walmart! Formula, baby food, lotions, body washes and even the bath color tabs. This store is gigantic, as most of the WalMart's are now. This location is mega crazy so be careful driving! read more

This goes out to the community and to all the veterans in Deford New Jersey and across the country please beware of this Walmart and they're discriminating employees at this Walmart preferably coach Mike, which a picture of him is listed in this review Jessica, a team lead at this location, Walmart and Sheila, a self check out associate at this Walmart And the asset protection general manager, which I have a video that I will be uploading on their Facebook page about refusing to talk to somebody that has been discriminated against in their Walmart store so today around 12:50 PM I was in the store with my son and my little brother I am a veteran of the United States military I served over 12 years in the military I was trying to get Soap by Dukes Cannon, that is a veterans supported product and Sheila self check out associate tried calling me a liar when I said that the price on the soap was not correct. The price displayed in the photos that I've uploaded below shows the price coming up at $7.98 I told her that that is the incorrect price. She then proceeded to get verbally Combative with me telling me that that that is the price that it's coming up as not three dollars and she can't adjust the price. I proceeded to walk away because I suffer from PTSD and panic attacks from my time in the service and I proceeded to say that I was going to go find a manager and go get the right price and take a picture now Shortly after I came back this team lead Jessica that came to help sheila proceeded to then still call me a liar and say that all the soaps were not on sale and I only two of them then I proceeded to tell her that I do not appreciate being called a liar . She said nobody called you a liar. when I said the price was wrong your employee Sheila wanted to argue with me about the price. I am not going to deal with this behavior. I am not gonna be called a thief or a liar and be discriminated against, she said there's no reason for me to get upset and told me to calm down and proceeded to try to finish my transaction which this self checkout associate already canceled the transaction on the computer and said some very discriminating comments to my little brother about me overreacting, and don't know why I'm upset and there's no reason for me to act that way when I left to go look for a manager then I proceeded toI speak to a greeter named Vinnie who proceeded to go and get me a manager, which a gentleman named Mike, which is a Walmart coach proceeded to show up and I told him that there's been five incidents at this Walmart I have reported three of them to Walmart corporate and nothing seems to stop this from happening five other occasions A lady that is a asset protection. General manager proceeded to come up while me and Mike were trying to conduct the conversation seen me record on my phone asked if this conversation was being recorded and then refused to speak she said, and I quote that this conversation is over, is what she said and both of them walked away after I tried to grab their attention two more times and tried to ask if they were going to still talk to me they both ignored me when I was trying to explain a discriminating situation that happened at this Walmart location, I ended up leaving nothing in my cart, sweating and having an anxiety attack out side this Walmart over the way that I was treated by these employees at this walmart I only hope this review makes it to the proper departments of this company so they can review this and correct this and retrain their management system because states in the Walmart policy that you are to report discriminating behavior to a Walmart human resources or Walmart associate and the blank disregard I told Jessica at self check out the team lead that I will be calling corporate about this. She said OK that's fine and proceeded to walk away from me the disregard for her upper management is ridiculous. So Walmart can't keep stuff on the shelves but because they are so greedy and don't care about others, they still are running all the apps so that people could deliver groceries for them. But the problem is these people have to wait a half hour so on a day when people are making $22-$27 an hour then they get a Walmart job and their pay goes down to nine dollars an hour. They know they're making these people wait they have eight parking spaces and only three people bringing out groceries. Is it our fault they don't have enough employees? So to cancel the order it hurts our job percentage wise, when I try to explain this to the person on the phone they say what would you like me to do? And I just say 10 minutes is all I'm waiting you're not messing up an entire hour. So yes it's time for an update on the Wegman's of Gloucester County. You know the saying when in Gloucester...okay you know the rest. In all seriousness, my 1 star rating has now turned into a 3 star but my feelings toward Chuck have not changed (see previous review). Don't come to this Walmart or any other, if you need ANY direction/help, otherwise you will be disappointed. If its a hard to find item purchase online and ship to the store. You will wait about 10 minites to be acknowledged at the pick-up counter but it's better than aimlessly roaming the store and leaving empty handed and ANGRY. They have a small prepared foods section that has saved me when I need a quick meal AND need to pick-up non food items during a lunch break. Also, a nice selection of fresh cut fruits and healthy snacks. The produce has gotten fresher (not top qualiity) but that has come at a premium. I still go to Wegman's for my fruit. I can buy organics at Wegmans for the same price as non organic here. Overall, they now keep their shelves stocked (which have lessened my frustration) and it's a convenient location to me, while at work. read more

They're ALWAYS out of everything I need to get. They may have the brand but only one flavor of something. And then on top of that it takes about as long to check out as it does to find what I need just because they only ever have three cashiers and two self check out sections. And theres always employees just hanging around not doing much. I would much rather drive further to go to a different walmart. read more

Today was the worst experience I have had in retail in a very long time. I will ignore the usual Walmart jokes and stereotypes in this review. Today, I visited this location, and was buying far more than I normally would have in one trip. This prevented my fiancé and I from using the self checkout or the manned speedy checkout line. I noted that many of the self checkout kiosks were showing out of service anyway. We looked at the registers and saw that only one other than the speedy checkout was manned with 5 fully loaded to overflowing carts ahead of us. The cashier manning this regular lane was clearly overwhelmed, even stating that she couldn't even get a break. The speedy checkout line cashier, not having any customers at the moment, took one customer, so credit to her. Finally, after 20 minutes, another lane opened quietly, and the cashier didn't even try to take anyone who had already been waiting; his line started filling with customers who were just walking up. The one cashier finally got relieved, and I was glad to see it. My fiancé got tired of waiting for 20 minutes (and we weren't even next in line yet), and asked to see a manager regarding their line management. No manager ever came down. Also, I will note that many employees walked by while doing store stocking; having worked in retail, I cannot see a reason that at least a couple of these employees couldn't have been assigned to knock down checkout lines, as other stores do. This store clearly has massive management issues that need to be resolved. I will not be coming back. read more

Be extra careful with the pricing. I wanted to buy a Keurig coffee maker that I found on their website for pick up today black only $35 however when I clicked on that it changed suddenly to $59. I called corporate customer service they were no help at all I was then transferred to the online department customer service they also would do nothing for me. So I am warning everyone to be very cautious with their pricing I would call it false advertisingAnd that is illegal bad bad service. read more

12/29/2019 update: Rotting mushrooms!! God only knows how long they've been here. I was looking for bagels and smelled something god awful. Look over and it was this. I even said something as one of the stockers was there and she completely IGNORED ME!! This store gets worse and worse every time we go!! This place is absolutely atrocious!! The front WOMENS bathroom was a disgusting mess. There was pee and poop all over every toilet. Wads of toilet paper shoved into the one toilet. There's NEVER any soap in the bathrooms. And during their busy times they never have any registers open. Even the self checkouts are hardly ever open, so then you're stuck with a cashier who has to INSPECT EVERY ITEM you have and they hold up the line. So then that makes the lines even longer. And the stockers push the older food to the back and put the new stuff up front so then people are getting expired food not realizing it. And the best part is when they stock food that clearly has mold or bugs in it. read more

I normally don't have any problem with the Walmart I use on a regular basis. But it seem like every time I come to the Walmart in Deptford. There is never anyone around to help you. I waited 30 to 45 minutes to get fabric cut. It was absolutely ridiculous. And the the guy who did come to help us didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. I will never forget the time I spent over $500 in this store for Christmas gift. My friend and I went shopping after paying for our things she decided she wanted to go get something she seen. I waited in subway for her. She comes back after purchasing her item we decided to leave. Almost to my car when a white guy comes yelling asking me to come back inside accusing me of stealing. I calmly walks back in. After he checks my receipt EVERYTHING was paid for he hands me my receipt with a you better had paid for it attitude. I told him off first thing you owe me an apology. 2nd what the hell could be the reason your accusing me of stealing it is because I'm black. 3rd I'm sure I make more money than you. You don't accuse someone of stealing because their black and don't apologize after I spent money here. I stay away from Walmart this company has a history of racism. read more

This review might be better suited for the BBB or something, but it has since impacted my shopping habits at this and all walmarts as a result. Might be worth a read. So... I used to work there a few years ago. Most of my friends who had worked at walmarts before told me to expect the worst, because they treat their employees like $%!t. While at first it wasn't like that, it later became more apparent. My immediate supervisor was nice. The other ones were okay. And then there was Marshall and Candice. I'll get to them later... As for my standing in the store, my immediate department very much valued me and even went as far as calling me a hero. I had earned some company pins for doing a good job. My manager was very happy with me and my performance, so much so that they left the entire section to just me at evenings because they trusted that I would hold it down good. I spent a good amount of time working there, until one night. I glanced at my phone for 5 seconds to check the time, as it was 8 minutes until the end of my shift and I didn't want to be late clocking out. This one manager, Marshall, for whatever reason had a really bad chip on his shoulder. Prior to this night, I had never actually met this guy before. When I did, I didn't even know that he was a manager there (I thought he was just some random guy.) Maybe he woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning, or maybe he was just an @$$h@!e. Either way, he decided to come up to me and give me a hard time about the phone. I was very polite and just factual about it. I admitted at looking at my phone, and so when he realizes I wasn't going to play his game, he starts harassing me about the shelves. The shelves in my section were completely fine - I had spent all night organizing them and making them pretty. When he realized this, he starts getting on me about the shelves in the toy section. Keep in mind, I was lawn and garden, so toys was not my department to be doing shelves in. So I called him out on that, and he gets even more pissy at me. He orders me to organize the shelves in toys, and I figure "What the hell... I only have 4 minutes till clock-out anyway." As he walks away, he mumbles a snyde remark at me. So I called him out on it. I told him it was very unprofessional, and very much uncalled for. He had no reason to be rude to me. Him, being the a-hole that he was, decided to fire me on the spot. The only other manager there that night was Candice, and everyone in the store knows that she's very partial, unfair, and would immediately chew up anyone she has the chance to. She wasn't going to stand up for my rights as a worker, so I couldn't go to her about it. You know, during the job training, walmart preaches their "Open door policy," but there is no open door policy. The HR manager there is overseen by the managers who are most of the time causing the problems. Corporate doesn't care, and there's no justice for the "little guy" working there. If a manager decides to one day take their frustrations out on you, there's no help to save your job. Add this story to the thousands of other stories like it that I've heard from other people that used to work there, or unfortunately still do. I did later find out that most of the management there was fired and replaced, so I do have that solace. But as for this incident, there was very little justice. read more

Call this Walmart 15 minutes 23 seconds ago and still have not spoken to a person. The call just sits in silence and once in a while I'm lied to by the automated message telling me how important my call is. This is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for someone to pick up. Ran here to pick up a few things but then noticed all the holiday decor was on sale 90% off! So I grabbed a bunch if stuff for next yr. I separated clearance from the regular priced items I had at the register. The cashier starts to scan the clearance first. Watching the screen I see nothing is coming up marked down so I ask her n she explains to me how ppl put things back in the wrong places all the time n said it would be marked down in the system already if it was on sale. So I request a supervisor. He walks over I explain how nothing is showing the mark down price . He quickly agrees n teaches the cashier how to manually discount all holiday so he leaves she continues scanning n I notice again nothing was getting marked down so I say something again n annoyed she stops checks a price n says it's not coming up on sale. Now I'm thinking what the heck is going?!?! Did she really just forget what the front end manager showed her to do that quick?I told her If your not going to discount the sale stuff then cancel my order n so she says no problem have a good night. Steaming I call soon as I left b/c now I realize I never bought what I actually went for. I start to explain why I was calling n was speaking to the same manager I spoke to at the register. Just as confused as l was that she ignored orders he said he would go speak to her. Not sure what was wrong with the cashier since only minutes b4 I left with nothing the manager said to her anything with a certain holiday tag discount 90% off. read more
