I visited the Walmart Auto Care Center in Deltona for an oil change on my 1987 truck. I had previously had this same vehicle serviced at the Orange City location, and all of the vehicle information was already in Walmart's system. The staff checked me in, gathered my information, and confirmed the oil I wanted. The only initial issue was locating the correct oil filter due to the age of my truck. After waiting approximately 35 minutes, I was informed that they could not perform the oil change because the oil used during the previous service did not match what their system showed for my vehicle. What was frustrating is that rather than trying to find a solution, the service manager, Tony, simply told me I would need to return to the Orange City location. Since another Walmart location had already serviced the truck using the oil I requested, I expected more effort to resolve the situation. Thankfully, service writer Dio stepped in and completely changed the experience. He went above and beyond by personally walking with me into the store, helping me locate the exact oil I wanted. While it cost a little more, it was the correct product for my truck, and Dio took the time to help find a solution instead of just turning me away. His customer service, professionalism, and willingness to help are the reason I'm leaving this review. I also feel it's worth mentioning that it wasn't a great look to see the service manager smoking near the lube bay and openly complaining about not wanting to come to work that morning in front of customers. Dio saved what could have been a completely negative experience, and I sincerely appreciate his help. Because of him, I left feeling that at least one employee genuinely cared about customer service. Unfortunately, based on my interaction with management, I'll be taking my future business to the Orange City or DeLand locations instead. read more

As Walmart's go, this is one of the worst. Don't bother making a delivery order from them. The idiots that they hire to delivery things like groceries have the I.Q. of a tomato. They will either deliver to the wrong address, leave out half of what you order, bring you rotten produce or the completely wrong item. Walmart does not give a damn about customers, and frankly the sooner this whole tribe of losers goes bankrupt the better. read more

Not sure why there are so many boos for this store when they have a great selection of booze! The liquor store (far left when walking in) is like fun spot, it's HUUUUUUUGE. This was a quick stop, but I could have spent hours in the liquor side alone. The non-liquor side is pretty good too. I just browsed the deli area, but saw bins of sliced meat ready for purchase. No more taking a number and waiting for the DB in front of you getting 2 oz of each meat and cheese selection. Just grab and go! The parking lot is a bit oddly shaped, so getting in and out of there is kind of a pain. This location impressed me, and I've been in quite a few Walmarts in my day (and Wal-Mart's too). read more

Tire Center = Worst Experience Ever. Went to order tires and was told that I had to order them online myself and have them shipped to the store then come in and pay an additional transaction for mounting and road hazard. I informed the technician that the tires I currently had were not the stock size but were the equivalent height and width as the stock size on the door sticker. Technician said that would be ok. I ordered and paid for the tires online. When they came in, I showed up at 6:45AM so that I could get everything started when they opened at 7AM, then go to work, and then pick up my vehicle after it was completed. The Department Manager felt that his morning cigarette was more important and never acknowledged me until 7:15, while walking past me numerous times as I waited with my vehicle in front of the service bay. The tire tech then began to check me in, but then told me that they wouldn't install the tires because the sticker didn't match the size. I informed him of my previous conversation and he said OK. He then came back after looking on his tablet and said that he wouldn't install the tires because they were the wrong speed rating. My current tires were R speed rating for 109MPH, the door sticker was S speed rating for 112MPH, and the tires I ordered that they said they would install were R speed rating, the same as on my vehicle currently. My vehicle is a mid size truck that doesn't see speeds above 65MPH. I asked what I was to do and was told to take the tires to some other tire shop. I refused and said I wanted a refund but was told I needed to do it online, while the tires I had paid for were in their possession. I refused to leave until they issued a refund. The manager then told me that if I would take my vehicle to someone else and have them take the tires off the rims and bring just the rims in, then they would do it. I asked if he really expected me to put my vehicle on blocks to do that. I had ordered the tire on my computer at home, but had to download the walmart app to then have the manager process the return on my phone, then use his point of sale system to complete the refund, which will hopefully show up in 5 to 7 days. Here's an idea Walmart, how about you order tires for your customers that you will install, instead of making the customer do your job for you. I'll now go to a legitimate tire shop and pay double to avoid this incompetence. read more

I purchased a band new RV and my wife and I went directly to this Walmart to buy supplies to stock it. I parked in the farthest part of the 1/4 filled parking lot taking 2 spaces but not blocking any vehicles. Right after I finished paying for 2 baskets of RV supplies as I started walking towards the entrance door I received a call on my cell phone from a Walmart supervisor telling me I couldn't camp in their parking lot and they were going to have my vehicle towed immediately if I didn't move it. When I explained I had only been there approximately 45 minutes to buy RV supplies and just went through checkout she called me a liar and said I been camping there since the Daytona Bike Week which was several days earlier. My wife and I still excited about our new RV purchase just brushed off this rude employee which I later found out she called the dealership phone number on the side of my RV door to get my mobile number. Our salesman at the dealership called us to warn us about the call and she also told him if he didn't give our number they would have the vehicle towed. Hindsight I wished I would had gone to the Walmart Customer Service with my two baskets of merchandise and met this terrible employee, but being an easy going person I just let bygones be bygones. One star is one star too many. Store Customer service & Automotive customer service (or lack thereof) is the worst. Tried for hours to get main CS to answer the phone and they never picked up. Called Rx to transfer me to automotive and automotive would not pick up. Next day I had tires put on my vehicle at the Howland Blvd store in Deltona. When providing my address info. I spelled the name of my street for the guy while he typed it in. Then he went out to my car to check the mileage and the tire size listed on the door. While walking around the store (I'm proud to say I didn't buy anything more than a greeting card), they texted me a link to track the progress. The link required me to scan in a bar code, of which I was never provided. I decided to just go back and wait. While waiting I mentioned the link I was sent to the guy I spoke with earlier and he said, "It doesn't work." Surprise. NOT! In the approx. 40 minutes I stood there the phone rang many times and not 1 employee answered it; including the manager Tony who was standing next to it with 3 other employees. Some CS, some manager. When my vehicle was finished, I noticed they put the wrong mileage in the system, as well as the wrong street address. And the best, they put on the wrong size tires. Talk about incompetent people! SO PLEASE do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Sometimes saving a few bucks is not worth it. Also, if you're ever stopped at the door at any Walmart (or any store) to have your receipt checked, it is illegal per Consumer Law as transfer of ownership of the product(s) occurred at the register when you paid for it. They cannot ask to see your receipt unless they are accusing you of stealing or they are a Club, so stop showing it. read more

I know Walmart get a lot of bad reviews. Here In Osteen our local Walmart us always clean. I like that it's not that big and overwhelming. I have been to larger Walmart and I always seem to get dizzy. The only thing I wished they carried was a little more vegan choices as we sometimes like to eat vegan. I also have a son who is vegan so getting him things to eat can be a little challenging. Working as a Realtor Downtown Orlando I have more options like trader Joe's. read more

Absolute garbage service. If you try calling any phone number, it disconnects, to include the number for grocery/product pickup. If you are able to actually get to the "unavailable message", it indicates that the store will be closed for Christmas Eve. Maybe update your message, guys. Our grocery delivery was scheduled tonight between 7 and 8 pm. We received notification that our delivery was delayed, and could take up to two additional hours to arrive. At 9:30pm, my wife headed for the store, in an effort to obtain our items, which we need for first thing in the morning. At 9:43, I received notification that the order was picked up and was on the way. I called my wife, who was in the Walmart parking lot. She pulled into our driveway at the same time the deliver driver arrived. Apparently, the delivery driver had been waiting on our order for nearly two hours; and again, no one at Walmart would pick up the phone. Also, this is not the first time this has happened. Very bad experience at the tire center. Called at 5:45pm and was told if I made it by 6pm they would squeeze me in. When I showed up, I was told they couldn't see me because they were over booked. I asked to see the manager, Edgardo the tire and lube manager showed up. When I began to explain to him my situation he attempted to cut me off. I told him to let me finish speaking, he got upset and walked away from me. I got very upset and demanded to see the store manager. I was told she wasn't present. I went to customer service and demanded to see someone other than Edgardo. Another manager showed up, Patty. She was very sweet. Heard me and what I had to say, she then offered to help me. Ya'll! If you have not tried this locations grocery pick-up service, you are missing out. This is the only way I grocery shop now. The items that they pull are up to my standards. There is this one young man who always shows me my meats, produce, and eggs before loading it in to my car to make sure that I am happy with what they chose. The people who provide this service are always friendly and easy to talk to. I get out and help them because I already feel guilty shopping online in my pajamas! They never accept my tips, but I try to help them out with reviews after my pick-up has been completed. They sometimes hand out these goody bags with samples and coupons! I truly enjoy this location and their online grocery order team :) read more

What a nightmare of a joke both their delivery and pickup "service" is. DOORDASH does the delivery for Walmart. Doordash drivers hate delivering for Walmart because they are lazy and do not want to carry bags of groceries and Doordash drivers won't deliver, they will cancel at the last minute, if there isn't a TIP attached to the bill. I ordered delivery and my order was never delivered. I did not receive any sort of notification and sat there for 2 hours waiting or my groceries. Of course NO ONE answered the phone at Walmart and when I called Doordash I got an Indian person who barely spoke English and had NO CLUE what was going on. I decided to try pickup. I ordered a full day in advance was notified by email that it was ready. I got there and after waiting 45 minutes finally got out of my car and asked one of two employees who were trying to help about 15+ people who were there for pickup what was going on. He informed me there were still 6 people ahead of me! I told him I was done and I was leaving and to cancel the order. WHAT AN UNPROFESSIONAL JOKE Walmart is. This Walmart is pretty bad IMO, even for a Walmart. The toy section is always very bare along with certain aspects of electronics. Any employee at this place I have tried to ask a question (when I can find one that doesn't ignore me that is) either doesn't speak English at all or doesn't know the answer. I mean seriously, how are you hiring people that can't speak English when a customer asks for help? Even the people working in specialized areas such as paint or electronics are clueless in my experience. I guess knowledge of the department you work is not required here. read more

I wish I could negative star them. This place deserves no stars. The auto center is the worse. They lost my tire, that I specifically said I wanted back. No one there likes to do their job. They made ME go through the tires to look for it, that's supposed to be THEIR job. So, if it's not with all the other tires then where is it? An employee stole my tire. Then the manager Jacob, that didn't help me at all, is very unprofessional. He was laughing and talking to me with his hands in his pocket. You could tell he didn't want to do his job. He was bothered that he had to help a customer. When again, that's THEIR job. I have a video of how rude and unprofessional he was. Looked me right in my eyes and lied to me. They told me they were going to watch the cameras but then tell me they didn't watch it. It was a very bad experience with them. And I will NEVER go back to this Walmart. Just horrible! I hate that I'm forced to use this store because of convenience and hours. WHY do you pay 5 employees at night to stand near the self check out lanes at night doing NOTHING! not even bags stalked. God forbid you need help in self check out ridiculous. Then to top it off the stalkers take up the entire ile so you can't get in to get what you need nor can you try anything on in fitting rooms after 9pm or exchange anything. Why even bother with 24 hours. When I asked a shelf stalker why nothing is stalked up for Monster Energy drink I'm told it's not his job it's the morning crews job. Also the Dr Sholes foot machine is broken of course but a worker watches me trying to get it to work and decides to run away like I have 4 heads for fear I would ask her for help. Unfortunately I had to come shopping here today. I had 15 items so I went to one of the short lanes. I have never met a lazier bunch of people than the people that work here. The woman told me I should push everything up to her so she doesnt have to bend. Seriously!! She was too fucking lazy to reach 5 inches??? And before that, I was looking for a certain brand of mustard so I asked this guy that was stocking shelves. I very rarely do anything like this, but today,, I felt the need . The wife and I went to the Walmart in deltona. I bought 12 bags of the topsoil. When I carried the bags to the truck with their cart,,a worker seen what I was doing and came over to help load into the truck . Very helpful and I was very thankful. Well, later, I realized that I need much more, so the wife and I went back and bought 25 more bags. We looked for a cart, but couldn't find any. We asked a employee, and not only did they help load up 2 carts but we ended up with 2 employees helping to load up. And when we carried out to the truck another employee came out to help. Now, I'm not that young, but you would never think that I needed the help. Normally, I would do this myself. But they were there to assist. Very impressed with the help they gave. Thank you. read more
