It's WALMART, folks!!! Idk what people expect, but stellar customer service is usually not something Wally World is known for. That being said, I didn't really need any help from an employee during my visit tonight, but I did use the fitting room to try on some clothing. The girl didn't smile when she asked if I needed a room. She just opened it for me. Oh well, I did what I needed to do and off I went. I don't come to this location very often, and when I do, it definitely feels ghettofied. I've not had a problem here, but the employees could be friendlier imo. While this isn't my first choice of places to shop from, it won't be taken off my list, either. Don't take it personal, people! Go in, do what you gotta do, and leave. Simple as that! read more

We shop at Walmart often but not this location - thankfully. Walmart is Walmart so expectations are understandable low. That said, this particular location is horrendous for customer service. They've taken the normal low Walmart expectations and used a backhoe to dig even deeper. We stood in line at a register with of our items on the belt. The checkout guy decided our arrival would be a great time to leave us (and several people in line behind us) standing there while he ran from register to register doing who knows what. I think he was some sort of manager that was the only guy in the entire store authorized to do anything. After 10-15 minutes of standing and waiting we asked the person at the next register to get someone to help. She promptly turned her back to us and ignored us. We then asked another person who was not at a register if she could help and she gave us an indignant "I work in the back and it's not my problem". Again, it's Walmart but they're not even trying. It's acceptable to be rude to customers and act as if we are the problem. I feel sorry for the people who live in Coolidge and this is their closest option. Never again. read more

Coolidge is an older town, and this is an older Walmart Supercenter. But I wouldn't really call it a Supercenter so much as Ghettoriffic. Just because it's an older store in an older town doesn't mean it can't be cleaned up and modernized a little. Heck, just a fresh coat of paint on the exterior and reconfiguring the check out area would give this place a whole new vibe. I'm saddened. Went to Walmart to return an item and was lied to from the cashier. She told me they don't accept returns without a receipt. I called the store and found out that was a lie. Do not shop for spark orders older lady at checkout shook her finger and scolded me for going through self check lane as the app said. Told me never again shall I follow the spark app instructions and only use the designated register that has a small 8 1/2 x 11 printed sign up o use only this register. I will not do any shopping orders there. Only will do outside spark orders there from now on. In store management and employees hate spark shoppers. read more

I come here all the time. Its super convenient most of the staff are friendly and helpful. Unlike Safeway nearby this Walmart stays well stocked. Prices are unbeatable on everything save for produce. They are always open save a few holidays. Very decent selection and a great addition to Coolidge. read more

So I was driving down 278, Back towards our motorhome and on impulse I decided to buy some beer, I mistakenly drove into Walmart parking lot but thought what the hell I'll go in here. Got my beer went to the checkout $6.75, unfortunately the price beneath the product on the shelf was 599. I foolishly asked for the prices to be checked because I didn't want to overpay after a minute somebody came by and took one beer out of the six pack to go check the price, and then disappeared. After about two minutes the guy behind me was about to explode, I'm so sorry dude. The employee eventually came back and verified the 599 price and I got out of there. Been going to this walmart for two years now because its way less crowded then the casa grande walmart AND employees are much more friendly. I appreciate the employees and their hard work but they recently upgraded their pay system. They now don't accept my Samsung pay and they now ONLY use walmart pay. We were in the area because we visited the Case Grande ruins. We stopped in to grab a couple of necessities and were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, nice layout, and lack of clutter in this particular Walmart. It's a really big store so plenty of options for whatever you may be looking for. The checkout was a touch slow but thankfully someone came and opened another line to move things along...way to go! I just want to say that they have hard working employees doing the pick up job. Slim, usually takes care of us. She is diligent, courteous and very personable. I know they've have been problems with the pick up service but they do not give them enough staff to do the job. I called and told them waiting for 45 minutes was unacceptable and more staff was needed. The employees are why I come back. I'd like someone to acknowledge Slim. Wow--i went there only to exchange extra strength Argan Oil shampoo for regular, and the lady--older with long ash colored hair seemd to just want to mess it all up--I handed her my receipt, I put the extra str on the counter, walked over to get the replacement, came back and both the shampoo and the receipt were missing. She tried to tell me that I had taken the shampoo and now the cameras had to prove that I had set it down and had to wait for the video to be observed! How many Wal-Mart employees does it take to screw in a light bulb? I don't know, you'd have to find one first. Then, if you can find one, good luck if they speak English. If you find one, and they speak English, they probably won't know where the damn light bulbs are. But if you're lucky enough to find someone who can tell you in English where the light bulbs are, God bless you trying to check out. It scares me that these people are allowed out in public. Horrible customer service. Associates scurry like roaches when you approach them with a question. If you are able to corner one, they act like you just ruined their day. There are usually only 2 or 3 registers open, and it is not at all unusual to stand in line for 30 minutes waiting to check out. Site to store ordering is even worse! I have ordered two things that way. Both times I went to pick up the items in the evening (around 7pm), and I waited for over 30 minutes each time. Several employees walked past me and told me to keep waiting and someone would be there shortly. The first time I picked up an order, I had to hunt down an employee on the sales floor. The second time, a guy I know that works there saw me getting pissed and came to help me. The slightly lower prices Walmart offers does NOT make up for the fact that the employees are rude and customer service is non-existent. read more

We did not find everything we were looking for but that seems more often at any WalMart of late. But, this WalMart has the friendliest staff of any we've ever been in. They say hello, ask if they can help, are willing to take you to what you're looking for. 3 trips to this store in a week and always pleased with the staff. I will never use this store for anything ever again there pharmacy does NOT run your prescription through your insurance unless you throw a fit and call them on it. I was in on the phone with my insurance company and they had NOT even submited it like they said they did tried to charge me 94$ when it should have been 33.10. when it comes to letting or allowing your animals into the store if they are not A service dog is a no no they will not even allow your animal into the store even if you don't put them into the cart my concern is so I asked the manager and I have asked other employees and the same answer was because there is a man that comes in with his service dog on the cart that you have to ride around the store in and poops on the floor every time he comes in with his dog he is a service dog they won't allow a non-service dog in that is well behaved due to this issue we have more and more Californians moving in to the Coolidge area and a lot of Californians are allowed to bring their animals into stores restaurants so I suggest if you want to bring your dog and you're gonna have to drive to San Tan Valley their Walmart supercenter which is better anyways because they have a better a variety of stuff specially when it comes to fruits and vegetables read more

The service is absolutely terrible. If you go after 8:00 pm don't expect anyone to assist you with anything. I went in to buy an Xbox 360 console after work one night and there was nobody in the electronics department, so I went and asked the person at the customer service desk to page someone to help me. She sighed and said "yeah I'll call someone". I ended up waiting about 15 more minutes before I had to go find somebody myself. I asked yesterday about exchanging a defective television they'd sold me, for which I'd paid $448. After looking at the receipt, they said I'd need to use the care plan I'd bought for it since I'd bought it more than 90 days ago. I looked at the receipt, pulled out a calendar, did some counting and realized it had only been 85 days. I took the tv in today to exchange it. After about half an hour without a single smile or nice word from the customer service associate and csm, the assistant manager came, not too friendly either, and tries to do an even exchange for a tv that costs $60 less than the one we bought. I said, "No, you owe us that $60. Either give us that or give us all the money back." After arguing with him for a while and mentioning the less-than-polite service from the other employees, and finally getting loud and rude myself, he finally ok'd us getting the money we were owed, then walked away. Never a sorry or anything. If I had remained polite and calm, I would have been screwed out of $60. I will not shop in a store where you need to be loud and rude to get the manager to give you what they owe you in the first place. read more
