This is about WALMART.COM. On March 22nd, in 2 days, a hackster used my acct to charge1000 - identical $50 charges. And as of the first of May, the charges were still occurring! I've closed the account, on 4 different occasions! (Someone at Walmart never seemed to follow thru with my request to permanently CLOSE the acct.) Walmart didn't seem too concerned. By the end of this hacksters reign, the charges were over $80,000. As of today, my credit card has been completely cleared of all fraudulent charges. Still no follow-up of any kind from Walmart.com. Terrible experience with delivery from an online order. Tracking showed that there were six deliveries in front of me, then the delivery time kept changing, then it showed a "delivery issue" and would be attempted later. Big surprise that it was cancelled later that night. Wow they tried SO hard to deliver *insert eye roll* and I'm assuming the driver either didn't want to sit in traffic to cross the bridge, or it was time for lunch. Last couple of times I bought Gallon Milk it did not last till the expiration date. Not just talking a couple of days but over a week maybe 2 weeks till expiration date. This tells me that whomever is receiving milk products is letting it sit there too long before putting it in refrigeration. I would think that someone would be on top of this part of receiving and wonder how many other products just sit there and go bad before they get received. I don't shop here much any longer. I've lived in Bradenton for about 5 years now. My Super Walmart in Illinois back home is completely different. It's much cleaner number one. Anyway I will NEVER understand why there are registers in the garden center but never open?! Why have it then? It makes customers angry that they have to now lug heavy bags of gardening supplies and soil not to mention Huge plants throughout the entire store to check out! Same with the "new" beauty area. Register is never open so not only does it make it easier for shoplifting it's redundant to make this area closed off from the rest of the store with a register accessible right there but now you're having to pay in the population of customers anyway like I get being under staffed but it's maddening to have to lug heavy bags of soil through your store. I met this wonderful sales associate there. Harvey, registered nurse by profession and Veteran. He opened that register for me because I was bitching about the register being closed. He said c'mon I will get in trouble for this but I'll do it" then another customer with three bags of soil came behind me. To be honest, this staff member should not get in trouble, instead should be given employee of the month! Customer satisfaction should be the objective and this man Harvey made my day. Polite and professional. Too bad his spirit and customer service isn't company wide, not only did he step up to accommodate customers he did it with a smile on his face. We are staying at the Marriott next door which is a very nice property. Since we had a kitchen in our suite we figured we'd walk next-door and get some groceries. This is the dirtiest Walmart I've ever been in. The girl at the deli looked and acted pissed that we asked for some lunchmeat. She had been talking with her friend, and I guess we were interrupting. One register had its light on but no one was at it, now I understood why the line was so long at self checkout. The self checkout we got had glass so dirty I didn't want to touch it. I was stopped at the door by a receipt checker around 9:10 last night. She insisted on seeing my receipt and even though I know I didn't have to show it to her (because I paid for my purchases). In an effort to be polite and assist her with doing her job, I stopped and searched for it and in the process, I accidentally dropped the cash that I was carrying. The employee probably kept it. Been a Walmart + member for years. The last year the delivery service has been terrible!! They deliver to wrong places or half the order. I have even texted the driver with clear directions. My home is not hard to find and number is clearly marked. Either they can't read numbers or text messages or just plain don't care. Walmart gives me credit, but what I need is the food I ordered! The deli counter guy was awesome...he even mentioned visiting our state in a short conversation we had. All workers were super helpful. Gene was our cashier and was super pleasant. We spent 5 weeks visiting Bradenton and Walmart was our go-to grocery pickup spot. We found the selection to be very diverse, including gluten-free options and ethnic options that allowed for us to prepare meals that were catered to our needs. Walmart has done a great job of continuing to evolve the options and this location has taken full advantage of that. The pickup staff was polite and helpful and always began with a nice greeting and a fond farewell. Lastly, the prices we've come to expect were consistent here and when we stopped inside, the store was clean and maintained. We'll be back when we return in the fall! read more

Beware of appalling customer service and lack of quality product at Walmart Vision Department. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere! I purchased prescription sunglasses at the Bradenton store for $349.00. Less than 3 years later, the lenses had completely deteriorated. During the buying cycle, I had accepted Walmart staff's recommendation for these specific lenses, backed up with their claim that these represented the highest quality available, (from industry leader Nikon) including polarized, progressive, anti-static, anti-glare. Moreover, because of the high cost ($349), I followed all the best practices for care; That is, always in their case when unused, only quality eye-glass cleaner with proper wiping cloth, no swimming, etc. YET despite the recommended care, they deteriorated. My in-store experience trying to resolve this was terribly disappointing as well. Specifically, the Walmart associate in the Vision Department dismissively and unapologetically blamed me for the very evident lens deterioration. All nonesense. I consulted two 2 opticians for a remedy. Each told me that they had never seen such thorough deterioration and that the lenses must have been defective. One also questioned whether the lenses were truly Nikon, since they lacked the usual "Nikon" engraving on the lens, as done by credible labs). In fact the Walmart vision staff validated that the Nikon logo would be small, but evident. Walmart has ignored my repeated requests for an explanation, hence my warning to any potential customers. Do yourself a big favour and avoid Walmart Vision. Go elsewhere! read more

We attempted to get gas and BEWARE: gas discounts are only accessible if you have a smart phone and can access the Walmart app. You have to get deep in the website or app information to know that. The employee in charge of this area -instead of finding a way to help me pay- says she'll return the items to the shelves. Never in my life do I remember anyone being this useless!!!! Was greeted by "Josephine" (approx 60 YO BF) that was the most disrespectful, unprofessional person I have ever seen as a customer walking into a place of business as she yelled at anyone walking in saying: "we're closing these doors at 1100, you hear me, you hear me?" . terrible service, more interested in who was covering for who over lunch. I needed help in phone/electronic section. The girl with long brown hair was rude, not wanting to help with my needs. No other customers, so no excuse for not helping me. I needed a SD/memory card for my smart phone. When i went to the aisle she sent me to, there were SIM cards. I told her no, no i need a memory card, showed her my phone repeatedly and she told me to go look. Finally found a SD memory card, looked large for my phone, so took up to afro american young gentleman cashier and showed him my phone, he assured the product would fit my phone. I purchased it. I was totally wrong, apparently not knowledgeable in his dept. Neither employee seemed helpful as they were more concerned about who had the next lunch break. Now i need to drive, find a place to park during the holidays and get my refund. First time i called was transferred to apparel, put on hold, got apparel again, asked for customer service and was told any complaint could only be filed online. Later i got thru to the phone dept. and spoke with original girl I dealt with. She remembered me. I explained the situation and asked why no one in dept could realize the product they referred to me was totally not right, showing my phone again. The gentleman who checked me out assured me product was ok, as he insisted to another employee that he was supposed to be on lunch. When i phoned and spoke to the first girl who waited on me she was dismissive, not apologetic, not curteous and tried to hang up, i reminded the call was being recorded and that i had another question. she said something to the effect that she had to go and then hung up on me. If Walmart wants to keep employees such as these, the company is wasting money on those paychecks. I will make one more trip, dodging cars, people and standing in wait lines for returns. Today I was at Walmart purchasing auto equipment such as oil and Brake fluid after a meandered around the aisles I looked for my girlfriend in the garden center once we went to check out and paid for our items three officers stopped us and accused us of looking suspicious and tell us as a warning and potentially they will arrest us if we are shoplifting I stated why would you think I was suspicious... My girlfriend offered to be pat down and search us they kept on threatening us if we raise our temper we will be arrested then we asked are we allowed to go and they reminded us that the store is known for arresting people who are shoplifting I just want to get the fuck out of the state Walmart supercenter ruined my vacation. Self checkouts - double ring an item the last two times I shopped. The man working the self checkouts told me how I should do the adjustment after he signed in and then told me how to use the touchpad. As I was walking out after completing the checkout process, he stated, "you are welcome ma'am" with a very nasty attitude and slightly under his breath. I returned and said, "pardon me?" He said I should have thanked him for his rude service. I saw the manager on duty, explained the situation, and she apologized. Appeared I wasn't the first complaint. I have been a daily shopper of this location since September 2009 and I am totally disgusted on how the Managers have taken advantage of me and hustled me and made me feel I had to spend unnecessary spending for repairs to my vehicle. All I wanted was my battery checked and an oil change. According to the invoice that was given me, the battery checked out to be good. However they decided to lie to me and charged me for the most expensove battery at $119.76. They also claim to have checked several items on my char with no diagnoses report including the air filter and cabin filter. I personally can verify those gilters were not inspected being that they have not been changed in 3 years so if they were inspected it would have stated needs replacing. There was no accurate diagnoses on my vehicle and I was ripped off. Then the service manager of auto (Chris) could not give me answers to my questions concering the over all inspection of my vehicle and yes he was the one who told me that the battery I need is the most expensive one they carry and thats my only option. The assisstant store manager Rosemary was very unprofessional and rude and hung up the phone on me and told me she was not going to help me. So now it leaves me no option but to file reports against my so called friendly neighborhood store about how they have taken advantage of a loyal customer for over 10 years. It takes forever to check out since they only ever have 1 or 2 people on the register. Finding employees in the electronics section almost never happens. I have ordered grocery pick up 2 times here. The email tells me when the order is ready and to check in, however the app does nothing. I even tried to check in from the email itself. I have tried multiple times over and over and cannot check in. When I pull up the sign says to call the store. I call the store and get voicemail. I am here and now I have to wait for my order. This is the worst Wal-Mart I've been to. If I could give it zero stars I would. And that would be generous of me. The shelves are not well stocked. If I had a penny for every time I looked for a product that they supposedly carry only to find an empty shelf I'd be a wealthy woman. This store is very close to where I live so I end up going in more than I would otherwise, but I've noticed that the way the cashiers are treated is appalling. Bad enough Wal-Mart doesn't pay it's employees a living wage & they need medicaid & food stamps to make ends meet, but they add insult to injury by treating the employees like slaves. But then, why treat employees like human beings? Why give them a decent amount of personal & sick days or pay them a first world wage when the taxpayers can pick up the slack? The produce is picked so early that it is tasteless no matter whether you buy a tomato, apple, or nectarine they all taste like a potato. Do you enjoy travel? Then you'll love Wal-Mart's version of Mumbai in the summer time, better known as their restrooms! Smell the aroma reminiscent of the corpse filled Ganges as you search for the toilet with the least feces on the seat.
