They were friendly. The only issue I had with them was they never asked about my insurance. I thought I gave it to them. The medicines were more expensive than normal. I didn't question it at the time. I wanted to contact my insurance to find out why. When I found out that the pharmacy didn't contact my insurance since they didn't ask for my insurance information I was surprised. That should have been the first thing they should have asked me. I thought I had given it to me. Ultimately it was my responsibility. Once I figured that out they refunded the difference.

When I go to CVS I never see the same employee twice but at Leonard Pharmacy they are calling me by name and saying hi and asking how I am doing while pulling my orders. Why would I ever go elsewhere? If my medicine isn't in stock they have it the next day, their OTC products are always available and well priced. The cold and flu section beets out most and their medical supply area is top notch. I have looked at their diabetic footwear and its fashionable. I've never had a bad experience here and will probably use them as long as I live in the area.

Perhaps it's just how things are done in a town of less than 2000 people, but I can say with confidence that the Honey Grove Pharmacy has continually stood out above all the others in my 30+ years of dealing with local pharmacies. There generics are as good as any other pharmacy. Their staff is competent, friendly, and efficient. They even sell soda and ice cream!
