Updating my review. The good is the pharmacy staff is always friendly and helpful. The not as good is that the redesigned check out is not very efficient and many of the self checkout stands are closed. The staff at returns is typically 1 or 2 people even with a large line of customers. During my last time there were 2-3 employees behind the counter yet none could assist. When I asked if anyone else could help the employee said no one was available. When I buy something from the pharmacy I have to exit through the checkout lines even though I've already paid. Ok for some things but could see many improvements. read more

Even though this Walmart is further from my home, I will sometimes shop at this store because they have a bigger selection of items being Supercenter vs a Neighborhood Market. Pick-up is always easy. At times, it can take a little longer depending on the time of day. Idiots run this store. I have now called HR 27 times with no answer. When you call to speak to a manager, nobody answers the phone. Their exchange policy is terrible. I simply wanted to exchange motor oil from 5w-20 to 5w-30. They insisted that they could only give me store credit for one 5 qt oil container because I didn't have the credit card my fiancee used to purchase the 2 containers. I didn't want store credit. I simply wanted to swap the same brand of oil, in the same quantity, for a different weight. How hard is it to swap these for me? The amount was over $50, so they couldn't help, they said. Incompetence abounds at this store! Short-staffed hassles are what we must suffer through, probably because the turnover is immense here. Whenever a return is needed, the wait is 15 minutes because they have one person doing returns, who barely knows what they are doing. Their returns manager, who can resolve the problem, is never around. read more

I am getting to hate Walmart more and more, and for good reason. They started a huge remodel that is taking months, and moving the grocery pickup from one side of the building to the other, eventually. In the mean time they repainted all the parking lines, but not where they were before, so they do not line up with the cemented in number signs. How smart was that ? I have stayed away from going inside, because its a cluster. But I needed razor blades, which they don't do as part of grocery pickup. As part of the remodel they have moved the pharmacy to the other side of the store, for no apparent reason. Wasted 20+ minutes not finding razors in the otc pharmacy section where they used to be, only to finally randomly run in to an employee who told me they are now in the walled cosmetic section. The store is going thru a remodel but the workers there are DOING THEIR BEST!!! Despite some setbacks the employees were attentive & super friendly. My only gripe is with the clientele. This Walmart was particularly interesting in the fact that after you enter the front door you have to pass through another one way gate to enter the main section of the store. I am unaware of what this gate is used for other than to possibly be a deterrent for shoplifting. The main section of the store is relatively clean and full stocked. I was able to get what I needed and be on my way with check out being quick and effective. read more

I arrive after 7 am to the auto center of this Wal Mart when the site CLAIMS the store is opened. I am rudely told by an employee that I must wait for the manager to arrive. A 392 billion dollar corporation can't employ MANAGERS who arrive to their JOB ON TIME. I ask for a manager from another employee to see how long it will take for me to receive the tires I paid over $300 for. When the manager arrives the auto employee ridicules me to his manager im front of me. There was clearly a lack of communication among employees because they were confused that I brought my vehicle to the location I was instructed to take it. When arriving to retrieve my vehicle I paid even more for a warranty and installment. I had to wait in line over 20 minutes. And to top it off, one of the tires they installed was flat, and won't hold air! Understaffed pathetic service. read more

This is about the eye/glasses department. Not a good place to have your glasses made. Ordered glasses and they came back without rolled/polish and I had to pay more and had them sent back. It's been a very odd day, but for me things got odder at Wal-mart this evening. Something odd at WalMart??? I am sure that got at least one eye roll. Now I am the first to admit I love me some Walmart but this was just a bit too much for me to take in. I was getting a few things as it's Christmas Eve... Eve. Odds and ends for the next few days and I rounded the corner and was face to face with an unusual display. Now recently the world was going to come to an end as far as the Myans were concerned. After seeing this display I wondered if Walmart either believed this as well, or was/is just trying to cash in on this theory. The display was Emergency Preparedness Center. I was in wonderment and awe at the same time. Now I am sure there are people and places where the following odd assortment of dry goods could be and would be used. I am thinking in Aurora/Parker Colorado this may not be the case. The display consisted of things like: Freeze Dried Blueberries, Freeze Dried Pineapple, Freeze dried and dehydrated Carrots and Peas, Tomato Powder, Beef Flavored Vegiterian Meat Substitute. The list goes on and on and you can even go online and do a ship to store. Now I guess every survivalist needs a #10 can of Buttermilk Powder, but it was just really odd for me to see this stuff in the Walmart grocery section. read more

I am indeed unfamiliar with this Walmart Supercenter since it was my first time here at this location. Furthermore, it has been awhile I have been to any Walmart Supercenter as of late. I managed to purchase the items I need. I went here with my friend. I wanted to go to the other Walmart Supercenter but this is the Walmart she frequents to. From my observations lately, just make sure you have your receipt ready when you about to leave any Walmart, the staff will ask for it and definitely CHECK your receipt etc. Its similar "protocol" like when you do your shopping at COSTCO or Sam's Club. As Walmarts go this is a pretty decent one. It is well organized and clean. Not as crazy as some others. Although the parking lot is a bit nutso. No self service check outs, but they tend to have a ton of people working check out - which is nice since that is what usually takes the longest time when stopping in. All in all it is a good one! read more

I went to pick up my item after I received 2 emails that it was ready for pick up. After an hour of nobody at the store know where to find my package I spoke the the manager in duty named Cat. She told me to call back the next day Do o wouldn't waist my time again. I was just on the phone for 35 minutes and spoke to multiple employees. Once again nobody knows anything about anything. Cat made me waist my time again and I still don't have my package even though I have several emails telling me that the store has. One star is way too much to give! read more

So Walmart is Walmart, but honestly I did the pickup option, and I'm super unhappy. They positioned a bottle of dish washing soap in a bag of other food in such a way that the trigger was pressed down the entire trip home, and as a result soap covered the food in the bag, and I've got soap all over my trunk now. Also they substituted all my sparkling water with lime flavored water without asking if it was ok, which it is not. As I don't like the lime flavored water, and would have said as much if they had bothered asking. Not good Walmart, not good. read more

Sadly, this Walmart is not requiring masks and when I went inside there were no wipes available for the carts-there was a naked roll of paper towel sitting on a tray table to use-during a pandemic! The store also did not have hand sanitizer available for guests, which makes me think it is not available for employees either. Check out cashiers should enforce the 20 item "Quick Checkout" lanes, especially when there are only a few lanes open. Tonight, a future contestant on Hoarders had no fewer than 60 items in the 20 items or less lane and then proceeded to break the card reader, forcing the cashier to call for a manager who took 14 minutes to waddle over, just to open up a new register for My Precious My Precious and close the quick checkout lane all together. When someone needs a $5 toilet seat, therapeutic shoes, and a 5 pack of boxer briefs at 11:19 on a Sunday, one should revel in the efficiency of an express lane instead of having the Land Whale gulping up all the store's precious cashiers like Moby Dick hogging all the krill. I might have given 2 stars if any of the self check out lanes were working, avoiding the clogged sewer of the Express Lane, but sadly they won't even let you do the job yourself. read more

The pharmacy is terrible. My doctor called in 2 prescriptions on a Friday. I called Monday since I never got notification it was ready over weekend. I was out of a blood pressure medication and one for hypothyroidism - both extremely important and a pharmacy would know this. They said they were out of the common thyroid medicine but it was on truck that morning and would fill it but other medicine they had a question on. Why didn't you call me or my doctor?? So I gave them answers to fill it and waited for texts it was filled. Nope. Several days pass. They didn't fill them. Called again. Said oh yeah we have them ok give us 15 mins. No apology. I've been out of critical meds for 3 days. Go in. Oh we didn't fill it because insurance question and no we didn't call you. Terrible customer service. This Walmart is run by an amazing crew of people. Living in the Denver area, around my home I have several choices of Walmarts. Having gone to many of them, I would and have chosen to brave the ice and snow to go to the Parker and Chambers store. Its clean, even on a Sunday night after a busy weekend. The associates are always kind....ALWAYS. They say hello, and ask if you need anything and smile. I make this statement because the other stores locally DO NOT tout this same courtesy. When I ?'ed the other Walmarts managers I get a song and dance ring around the rosey story. I could care less the neighborhood the store is in, the people running the store are ALL trained the same way. Chambers and Parker....GREAT STORE.....period!
