Honestly, it's funny how people love to clown the Walmarts in the hood, but for this one to be on thr outskirts of the greater Cleveland area, I would rather go to Steelyard. I bought a sweatshirt too big for my toddler and wanted to return it and since I was in Bainbridge, I figured I go to the "nice" location, but boy was a wrong. As soon as I walked into customer service, at 8:03pm mind you, I wad told they were closed. With a confused face I said, OH customer service closes at 8pm now? She said they did today, the last person just went home. I said, so how do I get my return or exchange processed? She said come back tomorrow or drive to Macedonia, they close at 9pm. I was so annoyed, angry and over it. These companies are so nonchalant about their shortcomings, yet so blatant about the lack of service they intend to provide. I don't even like Walmart, but they are thr only pla e that reliably carry Rockit apples and thr Texas Roadhouse dinner rolls. If I have to check myself out, I should get an employee discount because at this point I work here. Don't go to this location. The shelves are bare, the workers up front in the self check out are just standing around shooting the ish. There was one worker that was friendly. That's why they got an extra star. read more

Absolute worst customer service ever. I purchased a planter at the Brimfield Walmart and did not realize that it was cracked on the bottom. I live close to the Aurora, Ohio store so I went there to exchange it for one that was not cracked. First, when I walked into the store with the planter and my receipt the greeter looked at me and said "return?" and I said that I would just like to exchange and he very rudely told me "Well, you have to go to Customer Service first". I know that and it was where I was headed. When I got to the customer service counter the woman looked at me and asked if she could help me. I explained the situation and she wanted to know why I wanted to return the planter at this store. I explained the situation and she then went to find someone to ask if it was ok if I returned the item there. Seriously, it was bought at Walmart so it can be returned/exchanged at Walmart. The associates in this store are beyond reprehensible. When I went to the garden center to get a replacement I asked the associate there if she could pop the drainage holes out of the planter before I purchased it because I am certain that is how the first one got cracked. She looked at me like I was from outer space and told me that they don't know how to do that at Walmart. I left the store extremely angry without a replacement. I called to the store to speak with the manager and report how I was treated. I spoke to Team Lead Melissa (who should NOT be dealing with the public). I told her that they really needed to get their act together before the new Meijer across the street puts them out of business. I was called a name and the call was disconnected (not once but three times). I eventually spoke with Ariana (apparently the one in charge tonight) who also should not be in a customer service position. I will not return to this Walmart again. Shopping was perfectly fine but wanting a fitting room wasn't. Me and mother asked a worker who was folding clothes if she could open a fitting room but she said she can't do that because she doesn't have a key and didn't say anything else. No radio or paging anybody. So my mom goes to ask someone different, they say they'll page somebody. We proceeded to wait over 10 minutes for someone, nothing. The one reason that gets me to shop there once in a while is that they usually stock limited time unique food products that you can't find at other stores. We were visiting my parents and I saw that they had Sour Patch Kids Ice Cream, so we stopped to get some. We were successful in finding the ice cream at least. Stopped by today to make an appointment with the optician and look over the available frames. Spent approximately 10 minutes in the eyewear section and the woman working did not even so much as acknowledge my presence while she chit chatted with another customer about dogs and medication. It would've made all the difference in the world if the woman had only said I'll be with you in a few moments, but she ignored me while I took it upon myself to try on different pairs of eyeglasses. I could tell by her aura that her behavior was racially motivated. I frequent this Walmart and usually have a normal and carefree shopping experience however today I had to return four items that totaled approx $2.14 in credit. DENISE at the customer service counter that worked today 3/8 @ approx 1220 is probably one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. If I had this experience with a credible return, receipt, never used items with UPC stickers still attached I can not even imagine what she has put others through and I encourage people to share their experience because she is a person that is confrontational and the things she speaks are very unnecessary. I brought my items with receipt and kindly told Denise that I would like to return a few items. She scanned my receipt and informs me that the item was not on the receipt. I know very well this is the receipt that the items were listed on. I had one purple plastic picnic plate and a blue plate. I also had one plastic purple tumbler cup and a blue one. I replied to her that this is the receipt and I said they are right there and then she becomes upset and takes the receipt and sternly says the upc is not coming up and this is not even a receipt for our store. Then she scans the next item and it comes up. I tell her maybe someone scanned the purple plates twice and the purple cups twice. It is very obvious that this is what happened. She says she can't give me a credit for the two items that did not come up. I told her I need to speak with someone else because at this point she is rude, condescending, and is saying that she is not going to be able to give me credit for t her two items. Only at that time when I asked to speak to someone else did she rudely tell me that she will have to return the other two items as a no receipt return and she can give me a giftcard and she is just doing her job. I reply that I do not care how the return is done all I want to do is return the items and have the money refunded. Then she proceeds to continue to ramble on as I continue to try to process what just happened. This is the face of Walmart's customer service and she has a very ugly personality, her comments are unnecessary much less unprofessional, and I am sharing with you my personal experience of trying to bring back items totaling $2.14 with a valid receipt. read more

I still shop here every week with my mother-in-law. Two stars are for lack of detail to sticker pricing at the correct merchandise. We always have at least one item that has an incorrect price on the shelf sticker to what the register says. That could be broccoli per pound, milk, beets, cottage cheese...anything. Today it was furnance filters. The filters were not placed with the correct price stickers. The sticker, and I looked at the detail, was $10 something. The register rang it $25 something. They have everything you could want and at fairly low prices, and the store is clean and well organized. It's Wal Mart. If you like Wal Mart, this is the cleanest and easiest one around. If you need an onion and motor oil from a single spot, this is it. The biggest issue is getting out. They often have just a couple checkouts open, which means you can spend longer waiting in line to check out than you spent shopping. When in need of vanilla and chocolate chips, and at 11 pm, there is no better place to go than the Walmart Supercenter. Overall, it is easy to make Walmart one stop shopping for all things as they simply are in possession of all things--truly. However, if you have never been to a Supercenter, they are worth exploring. Large, vast, full of every single item both dry goods and otherwise are here. Personally, we love the grocery store portion here as they have a great organic section and carry an array of free range chicken and grass fed beef. Not only is the store well stocked, but the people who work here are super helpful and knowledgeable about their brands. Additionally, the store is very well kempt and clean as far as bog box stores go. Great shopping experience here and especially so very late in the evening. read more

He was never carrying anything in his hands and was acting like he was on his phone the whole time. He then began circling isles that we were in so we called some friends to come get us. Last night, June 1st 2020, I headed to Walmart to return a Redbox after the redbox machine at CVS was down. I didn't realize the time and they were already closed, locking up the doors. The male employee kindly said we're closed and I then I showed him the Redbox return in my hand. He came to the door, let me in, and let me return my Redbox. This act of kindness made my day. This review is based on my experience with online ordering and pick up service. I ordered two bottles of lotion on line and received an email saying my order was ready. I checked in on the app when I was on my way and I checked when I arrived. When I arrived in the pickup area and the young man comes to my car and asked if I was waiting on a door dash, I said no and I told him what my order was. Fast forward 20 minutes I am still waiting so I decided to call and see what was going on with my order. I spoke with a young lady who confirmed my parking space and she said someone would be right out with my order. That didn't happen. I watched as cars pulled up got their orders placed in their car, leave and I still haven't received anything. Now 45 minutes has passed and a lady with red or pink hair bringing out orders what was going on with mine. She rolled her eyes said she didn't know and proceeded to ignore me as I attempted to ask her another question. Now an hour has passed and I call again because I going to tell them that I am as leaving. Someone answered put me on hold an never returned to the phone. I hung up and of course nobody answered when I called back. I called and called for 10 minutes with nobody answering. Finally someone answered and said that I had left when she came back out. Of course I left after over an hour. She just ignored me instead of saying she would be back out. Just rude! Now my order is showing as being picked up!?!?! So now I have wasted over an hour of my time and still don't have my order. I have to make another trip out there to hopefully get what I paid for. What a joke! read more

I only went in for spray paint. I had to look for an associate that actually had a walkie to let other associates know a customer needed assistance. I stood in the aisle for 20 minutes. Another customer then needed assistance and she went to find an associate. After 10 minutes of looking she found someone. The associates don't care about customer service. read more

One register open with 10 carts in line and the self checkout running with a very long line as well. It's Walmart. This is a staple in every American town. And frankly, what would we do without Walmart? If you need lightbulbs, a garden hose, cheese, doughnuts, or whatever, you can find every obscure item at Walmart. This Walmart is a super center. That means there are groceries and everyday items. Actually I was quite impressed with the produce. I know that sounds weird, but I would normally presume that Walmart would have bad produce, but this was simply not the case. This store was so busy that the turnover of fresh item has to be rapid. Certainly, nothing stays on the shelf very long. I do like to buy certain clothing and basics at Walmart. I have an aversion to overspending on socks, underwear, or other basics. This is the place if you are looking for one stop shopping. They always have everything you need! read more

My wife and I stopped into the Aurora Walmart last night for a few items for our upcoming beach vacation. The pop up shelter model we wanted was unavailable except for the floor model. We found an employee to check if they had any in inventory. After checking out the back room he told us they only had the floor model. I asked if he could check to see if another store in the area had one, so he walked me over to the shipping department and there he and Blake found a couple options, then called the other store for us to see if they'd hold one till tomorrow. These two young men were respectful, kind, helpful, and engaging, which is what I used to expect when out at retail, but rarely experience any more. I'm not from Ohio nor do I live here. I'm just here visiting the in-laws. I came to this store for some essentials that I'd forgotten back home. Not only is this one of the biggest Walmart store I'd been in, but it was also the most organized with employees that were able to actually answer my questions quickly (compared to my home store). I've been here twice during my visit and I was in and out quickly feeling highly satisfied with my experience. I don't know how they rank compared to their neighboring competition, but I know this store is well run with a great staff onboard. read more

This Walmart will not price match even when asking a manager. Says it is a regional thing even though all other walmarts in NorthEast Ohio does it, If you need a Walmart, go elsewhere. Starting around Christmas 2016 this Walmart quit having clearance. Nothing from Christmas to plants in their gated up Lawn and Garden. When I asked the Rudey Manager she said THAT WALMART IS REGIONAL AND THEY WON'T PRICE MATCH ANOTHER WALMART, OR ABOTHER STORE EVER! I've seen very rude cashiers to even ruder managers in this store and managers talk down to their employees. No wonder you can bowl down the empty aisles. I am comparing this Walmart to other Walmarts I have shopped at. This one is one of the cleanest and best stocked...with wide aisles and bright lighting. I compare this Aurora store best to the Chardon store, as both are clean. If you want an eye opener to the difference between Walmarts, visit the Mayfield store...which would make you appreciate the Aurora store that much more! Prices are why I shop here, as I'm not a fan of the Walton family and their overall greed. The grocery store at this location is great. read more

I had a great experience with the older lady who works in the jewelry department (sorry I forget your name!). She not only checked in the back stock for a watch battery, but she also installed it for me because I didn't know how to do it myself. 5 stars for customer service! read more
