Hilda, Hilda, Hilda, no strange coincidence that she has the same name as a cartoon witch. I'll leave it there as far as name calling or else I will get carried away. This woman seems to ALWAYS be working at customer service every time I need to do some business there. She had been beyond rude. In fact she is flat out disrespectful, judgmental, and presumptuous. I gather that she midi feel like anyone returning anything will directly affect her personal paycheck. She is argumentative, and makes her own rules. Completely disregarding cooperate policy and procedure. The Walmart website, and app both clearly define the chains return policy. Outlining all possible scenarios, as well as the corresponding resolution for each one. No place does there mention any type of dollar amount for non receipt returns. It also very clearly states that if you paid using a debit card, and for any reason said card us not available. Then the customer can relieve cash back as an option. I had one very nice young gentleman adhere to this policy he is a manager, and only for description purposes am I going to mention his ethnicity. So I'm guessing India is where his family is from. I'm sorry I didn't get his name. However he's very cordial, polite, and eager to help. Even after thus you g man gave Broom Hilda specific directions, She tried very hard to be insubordinate. He had to redirect her several times as if she must have forgotten her position, and thought she was the manager. Anyway she must hate her job, and herself to be such a nasty person. I read many Google reviews and several on Yelp as well. Broom Hilda has her name mentioned many times specifically. Funny too, is that they all say almost verbatim the same things. This you would think is something Walmart would want to correct. But this is part forbthe course for the entire store almost. The only other person decent there is the nice older gent that greets you at the door. And that is it. I was injured there about a month ago by slipping on water in the beverage aisle.. My ONLY reason at the time for alerting anyone was simply so that nobody else would get hurt. I was treated so bad there are not words. I left there in so much pain from throwing my back out, and they had the nerve to treat me like I'd done something wrong. Whispering among coworkers I guess thinking I'm deaf. Saying did you find any witnesses to one another. Also very clearly making it a point to act like I strategically chose this aisle due to its lack of cameras. It's the mother F-ING beverage aisle. For crying out loud. They acted as if the next step would be calling in CSI, or the FBI or something. Then of course I was supposed to be contacted within a day or two by an adjuster. Weird I thought but okay. Now let's not forget I really got hurt. I slipped and in order to not fall on my face or land on my fully credentialed service dog I caught myself and something git hung up or I pulled something. Either way four weeks later I am still hurt. But I don't expect help with this from Walmart. I don't expect that the 9 days of work I missed will be compensated, or even acknowledged. Thus store is just a bunch of rude, evil, uneducated, people who would be better off working I a place without customers. Because the are an EPIC FAILURE at customer service..Oh they do not answer the phone. EVER!!!. ONE LAST THOUGHT. The day I slipped the detective handling my case, was not ine bit concerned for me or if I'd been hurt. She immediately stared at me as if she were able to learn everything about me using her eyes as scanners. Then said before we address anything first on all mam we do not allow pets in our store. So I went on stating that he's my service dog. Her response was "we do not consider emotional support dogs service dogs" qoute. "Well he's my SERVICE DOG mam I've handled him for over eight years and you are making me uncomfortable by pressing me further to talk about my disability. quote. She then says "that's funny because most Service Dogs wear the red vest, and well I just don't see him providing a service. Mind you this is all before she asks me if I'm hurt or let alone even gets near where the spill is . That at this time many more people could have been hurt badly. I finally just to get stuff moving forward as I have family waiting outside for me I'd already been to long. I tell her that I have a seizure disorder due to a traumatic brain injury stemming from a car wreck that was not my fault, and because of negligence and stupidity of other humans my life was completely 100 percent altered from thus wreck. So FYI if I'd had hit my head even at all I could have ended up dead but at a minimum a vegetable the rest of my life. read more
