This is for there online shopping I went to order something it said there was one left in stock so I ordered it yesterday 4/11/26 and on the day it was supposed to be delivered 4/12/26 I got a notification that they canceled my order because they where out of stock and will refund my money in 10 business days so I call there 800 number for customer service and told them about it and that they need to do a better job of keeping the inventory up to date on their website better so people won't get screwed out of their money for days if it said out of stock I wouldn't of ordered it have have gone somewhere else to purchase this item that I need to do my job so now I have to wait 10 business days to to be able to do my job but Walmart doesn't care about us small people I will never shop at a Walmart store or their online service again read more

Good store. I bought the 5 dozen eggs 4 times I bought them here, and 2 to 6 were broken . Have bought these same eggs in Muncie and marion walmart, never a broken egg. If I could give minus stars, I would. What a disaster the Anderson, Indiana Walmart is. Returned a vaporizer today that i had picked up this morning through an online purchase. The vaporizer obviously had been Returned by another customer and then they passed it off to me, defective. I did not receive a receipt when I picked my items up. Therefore, they had to issue me a walmart gift card for the amount of the vaporizer. I went through the checkout to purchase another one using the gift card. We have used the curbside pickup several times and found it convenient and time saving. They fill the order just before your arrival time, though. When they have to make substitutions, it is shown on the app, and you can refuse the substitution if you want. read more

Usually buy almost all groceries at this Walmart, but no more. Went in yesterday and when we checked out the waitress (Cherie) was rude. She put eight cans of vegetables plus a bottle of vinegar in one bag, which she then put into a second bag. Used TWO bags, right? When I complained about her putting too much weight in the bag, she pounded her finger on the turntable, pointing at a sign that said that using less bags reduces costs to the customer. So- if she put 4 cans in one bag and 4 cans in another bag, she still uses just TWO bags. Makes no sense to me and the heavy bag was a huge problem for me to carry. My parents are coming in to town tomorrow and Walmart has really put me in a terrible situation and is unwilling to help. I order online as I'm disabled and it's not easy for me to get around the store. I went to the Walmart in Anderson, IN. I pull in the lot is full, and I call the number. It just rings and rings. I wait for a bit, call and it rings and rings. There is a guy walking around, one guy, and he tells another lady he's all alone. She calls the store and they say they don't have a manager who can help us at that store. I send a chat as I can't seem to get the guys attention and they say that they can't help me, the store is behind and I'll have to wait. No offer to resolve the issue by contacting the store for me, or letting anyone know I'm there. I need these groceries so I keep waiting. Two hours in and a person comes to my car I give them my information. One hour later an associate come up to my car and tells me they will not be pulling my order and I need to cancel it or come back early the next morning. I won't have access to a car to travel back 45 minutes to the nearest Walmart and ask if I can just wait. She said no, so I canceled. I received two promo codes during this wait. Woke up this morning to order the groceries and the money is still out of my account and I get an e-mail at 5 in the morning telling me my order is now ready. I sent a chat advising of my situation and they said they would cancel the order and refund the money, but the money will take 5 - 10 days to refund. Mind you this is all the money I have for groceries. I tell them that and basically like the first chat get the response, I'm sorry, this isn't the experience we want you to have, but no resolution but to give me another promo. At this point I've gotten three and I figure I'll get the basics with the promo coded money and I try to order online to be told I could only use one Promo code per order!! I ask if they can cancel the three and give me a new promo for the 50.00 total and they said no. I told them that all three were from one major issue and they said they couldn't do anything else. They told me I could do more than one order at once, but online you have to make an order for 35 each, and we don't have that extra for all three. Also there are only two slots available. I tell them this and again they really wish I didn't have this experience...no resolution. I've never felt so disregarded as a disabled person, a loyal customer, and someone just trying to use the tools Walmart gave me. We were looking for an item that was sold out last time we were there. Tried calling ahead since their parking is always a nightmare, but no one answers their phone. My husband went in. There were 3 people at the service desk and the last customer had just walked away. They had nothing to do, yet they could not help and explained there was no operator there. He asked to talk to the manager who was no help and said they had no plans to hire a new operator. He finally went back to find the item and it was still out. The people at the front desk had no idea as to whether it would help to try to order the item online. No wonder most people prefer to shop with Amazon. read more

It's a Wal-Mart Super Center, do I need to say more? lol. They're rolling back prices on some items. They have all types of foods, deli, ready to eat meals, drinks, and all types of groceries as well as household, kitchen, small appliances, automotive, toys, clothes, electronics, cell phones, video games, furniture, and more! The store is very large and the shelves are kept full. Lots of employees scurrying about keeping busy doing their job. The staff was friendly and knew what isle items were in that I asked help finding. The self check out lines were busy, and the 20 item and under line had 1 very slow lady in it with over 50 items, who wanted to talk to the cashier and hold up everyone else. Overall this was about a normal visit just like most other Wal-Mart stores. I found what I needed at the lowest prices and was in and out within 1 hour. read more

This is my second grocery delivery order and I will not do it again. I selected to allow substitutions if a product was unavailable. My ground beef and paper towels were not delivered and not substituted. Don't tell me there was none available to substitute. And when I added bananas to my cart, during checkout, I got a message that they could not be delivered. In my first order, a head of lettuce and container of strawberries were not delivered. Do they not deliver fresh fruits and vegetables? And don't bother trying to call to get answers. You will be answered by their operator and transferred but you will sit on hold for 9 minutes, get frustrated, try to call again only for the same thing to happen. When you try a third time and ask to speak to a manager on duty, you will sit on hold again. A total of 37 minutes and not one person tried to assist. When I shop in store, almost every check out experience includes listening to the cashier gossip with another employee or listening to them vent about their job or complain about not getting a break. I dont care if you hate your job, you shouldn't be trash talking your employer to your customers. With that being said, I have encountered a few associated who really give great customer service, but that is rare. read more

It seems like so many of the stores and restaurants knew of and occasionally shopped at on my previous trips here, were empty storefronts. I thought that they had all closed , and the Target and Joanns definitely had. But it turned out the Big Lots, Walmart, and Hobby Lobby, maybe the Dollar Tree too, had all moved down the way because the city was going to build something on the property they had previously occupied. For that reason all those stores were fairly new in their current locations and I found all to be well stocked, clean and organized. I was short on time by the time I got to the Walmart so I tried to make it a speed run, just looking for the half inch wide Scotch tape and checking out the yarn section, then I remember that I was getting low on my vitamin D and it had seemed pretty pricey at the other stores I checked. Sure enough the Walmart price was a couple dollars cheaper than the lowest price I had yet found. I couldn't find any clearance yarn and they didn't have the half inch wide transparent tape so I left with only three items and not much money spent. I prefer smaller stores but at least WM had what I needed. read more

We just moved here from South Florida. And when we moved up here we were kind of concerned we lose our ability to fight certain foods and so forth. However that was that the case! I our Walmart Supercenter here in Anderson, has basically everything we were worried about getting plenty of it! I encourage everyone to visit The bakery at Walmart and try the Naan bread! It is so delicious it because it three flavors. It is a type of flat bread that is used in India add in the west Indies of the Caribbean. What a lovely flatbread and has amazing flavor you just put it in a pan with a little butter and toast or in the oven and give it a bit of heat wow they have so many delicious breads that are available at Walmart supercenter. My family also loves the Never frozen salmon fillet's! Absolutely the whole fish is there for you we make it specially with creative we make a sauce that is out of this world simple! It's whole cream mixed with chopped fresh dill Fran's and lemon juice(fresh)!finely chopped onion and sour cream zest of the lemon 2 or thee tablespoons of tomato paste. FYI What about has changed his opinion about how it treats its employees the only thing that I urge of people to do is don't use the automatic systems to check out go to the ones that have a line and have people working and let's try to save those jobs in America every time you use the self check out your telling any business that it's OK to lay off the cashiers! Drink that there is a very important thing that we stop creating the ability for large corporations To stop everything they can that causes them to have to pay someone! Whatever like all large stores has its pros and cons but if you bake a cake if you want to continue you could find anything at Wilton corporation has to Carrie and also OK bakers needs to be found their pans so forth! I'm done with Walmart, especially the one in Anderson Indiana. I worked retail most of my teenage and adult life. I am retired due to disability and I am a Senior Citizen now. I went to pay for my order and realized I had forgot to transfer some more money from my savings to my checking so I would have enough to pay for my items. I kindly asked the cashier if they could hold my non-grocery items until the morning and I would give them my name & phone number TO ATTACH TO MY ITEMS and I would come back in the Morning and pay for the rest of the items as I had a little money with me and paid for what I could, as who hasn't in THEIR lifetime forgot some of their money if* not all of it and they held the non-profit items for them at least 24 hours, But NOT This Walmart*!!*Nooo*!!* And none of the items were groceries or high demand ITEM'S IT WAS A pillow, lawn chair, glasses, etc. I have seen other stores even hold back grocery orders in their walk in freezers, especially for the disabled and senior citizens who have a hard enough time shopping without having to reshop* their order. I know full well that Sam Walton was for working with people and not making things Harder for people in difficult situations like being disabled because of mobility issued yet we try to shop when we can get out. NO There's no way San Walton would treat his customers like that and also it's not necessary to say every 3 minutes that the store is closing. Anderson Indiana Wal-Mart has the Rudest and non-caring cashiers and store help ever and I use to spend $200-$300 there a month but now their competitors gets it. If these people owned the store they would treat customers with respect, but they get paid no matter what. I recently moved to the area, and I actually like this store until... I bought something with a 2 year warranty. Broke after 100 days. Customer service said they can't do anything after 90 days. The warranty card has a 1-800 number which I called and they said take it back to the store, you must have got someone who was confused. Went back and more confusion, again "over 90 days can't help, call the company directly." Company number: go back to the store. Other than "customer service" I can usually find what I need, so I will go back---I just have to manage my expectations. read more

Tonight (25th of Sept., 2020), I went into the Anderson (Indiana) Wal-Mart after 8:30 p.m. mainly to get a Wal-Mart gift card. My story for wanting a giftcard is a simple as this: I planned on using this gift card to buy an Apple product through walmart.com, so I needed to put over $300.00 on it. The Apple product is not available in any Wal-Mart store, but it is available on walmart.com. I thought it would be safer to get a giftcard to spend online, then it was to use my credit card. Not only did the first cashier that I tried to buy a giftcard from throw a massive hissy fit, saying she wouldn't allow me to put more than $100.00 on a giftcard, but when I walked away from the register, ready to just walk out of the store, I saw a CSM bent over a closed register, chatting it up with another associate. I stopped, interrupted the women, asking her if it was true that customers were not allowed to put over $300.00 on a giftcard. The CSM instantly wanted to argue, saying that the amount I wanted to put on a giftcard would have to be done at the Service Desk. I politely reminded her that the Service Desk was closed, and that I seriously questioned why she and the other cashier found it so difficult to put money on a gift card. The CSM, at first, said that Wal-Mart was stopping "fraud" of some type by limiting Gift Card sells over $300.00. I laughed, thinking she was full of it. I started to walk away, then the cashier she had been chatting with told me that she'd ring one up for me. I went to get a giftcard from across the register, and by the time I'd spun back around, handing the cashier the giftcard, the CSM and her were in deep conversation. The cashier told me that she'd only ring up $200.00 and that I'd have to get another giftcard for the rest. Stunned at how idiotic the situation was getting at this point, I laughed again. The CSM then held the cashier back from ringing up the giftcard, it was then that the CSM asked me what I needed it for. I told her it was for an item on walmart.com, then she started a sort of interrogation, asking me if I had been sent into the store by "someone" to purchase giftcards. At this point, I didn't even know what to say to the idiots I'd encountered at this store. How the heck does someone putting their own cash money on a Wal-Mart giftcard have the potential to commit "fraud?" I could say that the Wal-Mart in Anderson hires the most ridiculous folk to run the front end of their store, but the way that CSM, and some of the cashiers there act goes a hundred yards past ridiculous. It's bad enough that people paying cash can't use self checkouts and have to wait in massively long lines during a raging pandemic, then on top of it all one has to deal with the most laziest and paranoid people who are running that store. read more
