The cashiers are literally texting on their phone in the middle of checking out usually there's barely anyone to actually come when you press the help button for someone to open something but today there was one guy who was everywhere helping everyone open stuff. Melissa in Makeup , She was so helpful, well mannered and educated on skin care , she answered every question I had and gave advice, she had to open a few cases for me and never once rushed or had a "look" on her face , I absolutely loved that , she let me take my time to look at the make up because I was unsure, she reassured me to take my time as I kept apologizing! Here looking for bathing suits for my daughter. They have lots of selections and sizes available. A young lady while organizing the boys jeans section assisted me in finding sizes . That's the first for me , I'v been to other Walmart in different locations not one employees approached me to ask if I needed help . Kudos to the young lady for offering her assistance. The store is organized and clothes / merchandise were fully stocked . I went to the self check out , the register is filthy . Someone need to clean the top of the metal scanner . HORRIBLE and rude customer service associates. I had just downloaded the scan and go on my phone cause I was doing some shopping for my grandfather not myself, so I was trying to figure out how to add my card to my account cause I found some stuff I wanted to purchase as welll, when a very rude associate tells me "WHERE ARE YOUR ITEMS" and I tell her the items are in my cart with my little sister cause I have another transaction and I'm trying to figure it out, 1 minute later she approaches me while I'm still trying to add my card information, accusing me of stealing and saying I need to pay for mystify right that second yelling . She then goes up to security and tells them I'm gonna steal and I'm causing a problem as well. Now all the associates are looking at me like I'm the bad guy when all they had to do was their job !!! And ask nicely if I needed help figuring out the scan and go. read more

Just had the worst experience here with my mother, when we asked a worker Alexandra on the floor to open a locked up product she looked at us as if we were bothering her doing her job , then grabbed the product and said "number 12" and walked off like uhhhhh??? Ok so me and my mom put 2 and 2 together and went to check out at register 12 then we walked out the garden section with Anna sitting on her phone rudely under her breath says "well I guess you have a good day to" I guess she was supposed to check our receipt but again she was on her phone paying no attention to us. Then we try to speak with a store manager and there is absolutely no way for us to get through and speak with an actual person it's actually ridiculous. So disappointed and we rarely go to this Walmart so to have this experience was just all around a bad look for this location. #target. read more

The worst customer service of any Walmart I've been to. Waited for someone to help us out to get an items out of the locked shelves.... No one ever came. Asked 3 workers that were passing by, first said they would tell someone, still waited second one told us it wasn't her area and just waved us off as she kept walking and finally the third person told us the button to call someone didn't work and had been broken for a while. She did say she would tell someone out front to come help us out.... No one ever came. Said screw it after a while of waiting and just left the cart there with the items and left. This is not one of my usual reviews bc I really don't like to leave bad reviews but this place here needs to know how horrible their customer service is. The upper management needs to know that most of their employees should not be working with the public AT ALL! Today I came in to get a few things one of them being a self tanner that I had been wanting to try. And I was going to purchase a self tanning mitt that was marked $5.97 and then next to it was a back self tanning mitt (to tan your back) and the price was marked at $3.00, which I thought oh not too bad. So anyhow I proceed to go to self check-out and there are 2 ladies there, an older & you get lady. The younger lady (her name is Reinalda or something like that, she had long black straight hair) tells the older lady while gesturing her eyes to my cart "make sure you scan that", so the older lady proceeds to tell me she needs to scan one of my items and she reaches straight for the self tanner which is only $12.97...but I get it, it's considered "expensive". So I became annoyed by that because I also had a mascara in my cart that was equally priced to the self tanner & some feminine pads too, and I don't really understand why they need to scan an item but whatever...so I began to scan my items and I noticed that BOTH tanning mitts came out to $5.97, so I told the younger girl how the other mitt had a ticket price of $3.00. She said to me "you need to cancel your order and go back to take a picture and get back in line". I have NEVER experienced that before, at target they just fix the price right then and there OR they call someone in that department and ask for a price check. So I just said ok, and I grabbed the bag that carried all my ringed up items and I emptied it all back in my cart & as I'm doing this she tries to grab the bag from me like if I'm going to steal it, lol. So I just walked away and went BACK to the makeup department and took picture of BOTH mitts either their prices underneath them. When I walked back to self checkout there was a huge line and I just decided I wanted to avoid her and I would much rather stand in another line bc I did not want to deal with her attitude again. So as I'm approaching another long time a young man by the name of James approves me and sees that I have very few items in my cart and says to me "self checkout would be faster" and I do I said "no thank you I would much rather wait in these lines than to deal with the lady's attitude". So James says well I'm the manager which lady is giving you attitude and what happened?. So I began to tell him the story and showed him the pictures I took and he apologized and opened a register just for me so I didn't have to wait. James I applaud you for your quick action and apology even though it wasn't your fault. But I appreciate that you acknowledged the issue and you helped me without hesitation. Thank you so much!! I hope your upper management sees this and rewards you! Your kindness will go far! As for this Walmart I will not be returning and it's unfortunate because this Walmart is the closest to me, my husband works for the Walmart corporation and I shop here frequently, but I would much rather spend my hard earned money elsewhere and receive BETTER customer service. read more

After I drove one hour to this location! My experience was awful! The staff had poor communication. I placed an order to be picked up the next day with a specified time and place. By the time I arrived, they had no idea where my order was. Not only that, I talked to at least five employees and one manager, and still couldn't find my order. ****This review is for restroom use only*** My daughter and I were on our way to San Diego last weekend and needed a restroom break. I saw Walmart and exited right away. It is conveniently located off Fwy 215. It was already late at night... so grateful Walmart was available. Women restroom was clean. Stalls were well stocked with toilet liners and tissue. Trashy, rude workers at self checkout telling us to go behind a line so we don't block the walk way but she didn't say anything to the people waiting in the walkway in front of us. Then we proceed to self checkout with about 17 items in the cart and she rudely says 15 items only, to which I said yes I can see the sign. Then she proceeds to watch us scan every item and at the end says you only scanned one laundry basket, when I didn't realize we had two so yes I scanned one, they get stuck together. So my bf gave it back and said sorry. I said if she wants to act like a B then we will treat her like a B. Do better with staff training. At the self checkout, I purchased an item that required the approval from the checkout employee. All I said was, "ma'am" and raised my hand for help. She saw me and said, "Everyone is in an rush and I'm not so, you'll just have to wait." What kind of customer service is that? Usually, I have a very friendly experience with other employees, however this lady with salt and pepper long locks may need a break or day off. I said, "Thank you," and went in my way. My local Walmart. I've never had an issue, but the customer service has been getting worse. Today, as I paid, I asked the cashier about the dog food I was purchasing, it was a question about the inventory on it; such as, "oh you guys don't have the bundles anymore, right?". Her response could've been friendlier, or might I say more on the customer service side... her response was " I don't know I'm just a cashier" I understand! But as an employee of the company her response could've been more like "I'm sorry I'm unsure, at the moment we just have whats there in stock" or how others are usually willing and competent "let me check on that for you" even "I'm sorry it's not my department but I can redirect you" or around that verbiage. Her attitude wasn't it. People like that should be in the back, where they don't have to deal with customers. read more

I would give no stars if I could. I have never been to this store as I don't live in the area but I was on my way to visit a family member and had some time to kill. My grandmother and I had two separate transactions to complete. We went to the register where a young man named Hisano was cashiering. He had a young woman standing behind him talking to him. So we walk up and he says nothing, doesn't make eye contact, nothing. He continues to talk to the girl behind him and at one point even stopped scanning our items to turn around and look at her badge which she was explaining to him out it was "so dirty." So he continues to scan while talking to this girl and he scans an item (a two pack of stove top stuffing) that was coming up at the full price of $3.84 while we got it from a full endcap that says they were on clearance for $1. So my grandmother says "excuse me." He keeps scanning because he's so into this conversation with the girl behind him. My grandmother says "excuse me, stop" so he stops and looks at her. She explains to him the price discrepancy and the girl says "we can only discount one" and Hisano says "We need a picture as proof" I said "there's no limit on the end cap, can you have someone go check?" Hisano says "you need to show us a picture" I said "Do you have someone that can check? As customers, we shouldn't have to take pictures of everything we have in our cart." He says "I could, but it would take a while." The girl standing behind him is just watching this exchange clearly not doing anything so I asked her if she could go check. She said "I could, but it would still take a while." I said "why would it take a while if it's right there on the end cap?" She threw her hands up in the air and very sarcastically said "Okay, I'm going, I'm literally walking there." I was like wowww. So unprofessional and disrespectful and uncalled for. So my grandmother says "Nevermind, just take them off completely, I don't need them that bad." to the cashier Hisano. He stands there, pulls out his phone, sends a text message, and puts his phone away. I said "can you take them off the transaction?" He said "I already did." I said okay, can we finish the transaction then?" So he started scanning and completed the transaction. I was over it at this point so I put my grandmothers items in my cart and went to a different register. I was not about to deal with these two super rude associates willingly again. So I went to another register and explained which items were already paid for and that my grandmother was on her way over with the receipt. I told the new cashier why I moved to her with a half paid for cart and she was stunned. She said she had a customer with the same issue earlier with the same item that was on clearance but that he had already had his picture ready due to a past experience. So I'm checking out my items with this new cashier and the girl from the first transaction who took her sweet time checking the price of the item comes back up to the original cashier Hisano and says "Those bitches left?!" Again, wow. So she walks up to me, a whole four registers away from the one we started at. I immediately said "No thank you, we're good." so she proceeds to start shoving her phone in my face saying "look, $3.84. It's $3.84." I said "no, it's not. There's a whole end cap that has them on clearance. But we're good." So she says one more time "It's $3.84" and walks away. Showing about three other cashiers the picture she has and laughing. This kind of behavior is the reason Walmart and residents of San Bernardino have a bad name. Like, come on. It was a $2 difference. I wasn't trying to rob you. lol. And we ended up not even taking the items because it was so blown out of proportion because these two kids just wanted to be lazy and not have the item checked. It was really not that big of a deal until they made it one. Customer service really needs some attention at this store. If I didn't need the items I was purchasing for the family member I was visiting in town that day, I would have put all that back too and not given them a dime of my money. However, I will say that I had two other employees helped me get mens underwear and legos from a locked case and they were super polite and helpful. So kudos to them for doing their job so well! I guess it's just the cashiers who have contstant customer interaction all day that treat people like crap. read more

had the worst experience today with a self check out worker. this is the closest walmart to us and we come here often. we always use self checkout and never have any issues but today my husband, myself, and my two kids were targeted and accused of stealing/not scanning bagels and tortillas! crazy. before I could even start scanning, we had a chair at the bottom of my cart, the worker ran over and scanned the chair for me as if I wasn't going to scan it myself. pretty big item to not scan but ok! we asked her if she'd like to continue scanning our items and she laughed and said she's just doing her job..... I continue to scan the very few items we got and first she asked how many tortillas I have because her phone only showed I scanned one.... when I scanned 3, the computer didn't lie and the camera above me could see I scanned 3 but she was going off of her phone. anyways then she says it only showed I scanned one bagel bag, when I scanned two it was just under "everything bagel" instead of "bagel". immediately she says you only scanned one and starts coming up to me and counting all my items. i've never been so caught off guard because everything was scanned but again she was going off of her phone. if she felt like we were stealing she should've called asset protection over and we could've handled it but she didn't even allow us to scan and go how self checkout is supposed to be. never met a more rude lady! read more

We purchased 2 patio sets that were on clearance. We put one set together and the other set in the older box was missing lots of hardware. No sets were available on line and they only had an assembled set on a high up on display. They refused to swap the item we returned for the display. They could have displayed the item high on display. No one would sit on it or know it had missing parts. They had us call Redlands while in this store. Redlands said that they had a display and that we could come buy it. Really???!!' 2 managers let us walk out and purchase from another store. It seems that Walmart has little concern or consideration for their in store shoppers. There are more employees completing the curbside orders than there are employees available to assist in opening the various glass enclosures throughout the store. Maybe the curbside employees should wear different color vest, because when I, as an in-store shopper see that blue vest, I am under the impression that that person is able to assist me. But when you ask or try to ask one for assistance, they rudely cut you off and say they can't help you. It's happened to me before and I witnessed it happen to two other shoppers today at the Walmart in San Bernardino on Hallmark Parkway. I worked for Walmart years ago; back then we were trained to say "this is not my area, but let find someone that can help you" and we did that. But obviously, the training is very different these days. Courteous doesn't seem to be a word that is in Walmart's vocabulary any more. read more

Horrible customer service. Went to pick up an item I ordered. They tried to hand it to me ripped in 2 places. While I asked for a replacement of another of the 2 they just brought she refused. Then the manager Maria lied and said the other customer already picked that one up while I stood there the whole time waiting and could see the other one still. I went in the store and was welcomed by 3 different employees, at different times. I found a bathtub diverter. That was a happy surprise. I did not have to go back to Home Depot, were I did not have a good experience earlier in the day. I didn't think that Walmart would of had that part. The store was nice and clean inside. People inside the store seemed content and overall enjoying their shopping experience. I give this store 4 out of 5 stars. I had to knock off a star because the parking lot and the street were filthy. Weeds and trash everywhere. 3 street signs smashed and mangled at the entrance to Walmart and in the center divider. Also, the turn signals to the entrance were out. The signs and signals may not be Walmart's problem, but the manager should call and complain to the city to fix those problems ASAP. read more
