I revisited the outlet again last September. I am a Gap girl. I like the fact that I can get casual clothing at decent, reduced prices at any Gap outlet. This one is no exception. Both times, I bought some wonderful pieces. I fondly recall getting a jean skirt that had wonderful Lycra stretch to it. I got it for $10! The last time I was there, I got many nice articles of clothing, including a lightweight t-shirt that had various attractions in San Francisco, and a navy blue knitted cardigan with a hoodie. The first time I was there, I recall the male staff member cashing me out and how friendly he was. I bought a lot of items, but didn't break the bank. He gave me $50 worth of Gap cash, which you can redeem a bit later. I redeemed the $50 at the Gap outlet in Ajax. The woman there thought it was cool to see Gap cash entirely in French! I had the same experience the last time I was at the outlet. The woman was friendly and helpful. I love this location. It is my go-to place when I am nearby. (30)

I came in time of no extra sales but everything was generally 30% off compared to other stores. They have a well equipped women's, children's and man section. I saw some maternity items, but no gym clothes. Clearance items were not as many as I expected from other stores. I got some great mans shirts, that I wasnt willing to pay full price for in the store downtown. Other great thing I didnt know about: If you own a special Gap Bag, you get another 15% off on all the items, just ask at the register!

So this Treasure Hunt recently opened up in Cornwall's East Court Shopping Plaza on March 15, 2019…read more The Ides of March! Hopefully no one involved is named Caesar! Lol. Anyway, so I was first introduced to Treasure Hunt at Dixie Mall in Mississauga. It's a big outlet store with everything from clothes and shoes, to toys, housewares, bicycles and tools. In my opinion, a lot of their stuff is junk, but there are hidden gems for those with the time and patience to look. When I was there, they had some Banana Republic dresses for $30. They also had lots of Athleta (the athletic wear brand owned by The Gap) pieces for $4. They also had lots of brands that were of no interest to me though, like George from Walmart and Merona from Target, so I had to wade through those, but hey "treasure hunt" is the name of the game, right? ;) Admittedly, the cool stuff was only in sizes 00-4 and XXS-S, so good for the likes of me, but if you are a larger size, you may not have the same luck. They had lots of discount toys, but most of the boxes were opened or pretty bunged up. I was at the Brockville location a few weeks earlier, and the selection at that store was better in my opinion, and the prices were lower for certain things too. Anyway, if you like outlet/discount/liquidation type stores, then you'll probably like Treasure Hunt. It's definitely not for everyone, lol. Lots of free parking in the plaza.

I think having just better lighting would help, the whole place was extremely dark. Someone needs to go around with a duster or cloth and just wipe some of the products/shelves, they look dirty and dusty. There are some haphazardly placed items all over the place - and not very much household/clothing items. When we first walked in there was 1 couch and 1 chair for sale, then the first front wall had some random garden/outdoor equipement. There was 1 baby stroller, about 2 racks of clothing and the rest was mostly non perishable food items. If you are in need of condiments, canned food, cereals, and the like they have a decent selection although most items are expired. I was not expecting the best selection, but some items like medication/vitamines/baby accessories and baby sunscreens for example should not be sold if they are past their due date. Although it's cheap, I don't know why anyone would risk using expired sunscreen on their baby without knowing if it's effective? That's the kind of item I would not buy, I don't want to risk a sunburn on my sensitive baby's skin. I was hoping to find some hidden treasures and thought perhaps this place could be like Ollie's bargain bin but our party of 4 left feeling sketched out. Won't be returning, there isn't enough stuff and nothing of value.

I, like almost everyone (or at least those it's come up with) "F$&KN LOVE a dollar store! The more I searched for information and understanding, the more I read about the hype, ethics, etc.. the more I liked it... as far as national corporate chain stores go. As far as this location goes: it appears that on a national level, they is movement in integrating and combining Family Dollar and Dollar Tree (it's sister company that until recently only few similarities and generic and sometimes conflicting corporate structuring) Yet now, it appears that Dollar Trees are being brought into Family Dollars and that corporate model is taking over its host... sometimes gradually and sometimes as a new location. Before being hired and starting to make observations, as a customer, I would always start out towards Family Dollar first, it always was my first stop on my brick and mortar rounds. I would easily dismissed as a fraud and a liar it I did not acknowledge the obviously floundering and seemingly immeasurable progress up or down. So when you are in the store, please try and remember that everyone working there really believes they are doing everything they possibly can to help the customers, help each other and help the company they work for. And for the most part, many of them could not do anything more or better. The news has covered the recent criminal events: remember that is in addition to the many unforeseen problems and unintended consequences which rocked the store to its foundation... so if they are in the store smiling, working as well as willing and available help... mentally... give that person a little credit and all the respect you would like to be shown.
