Was waiting on 3rd function valve for grapple I guess from a phone call i finally received awhile ago. Figured since told me middle of December they might of called with a update but nope nothing. Think I've about given up that I'll ever get it. Thinking I need to go to a different location to order it or something. Idk. Not to mention when I ordered it that it was $2k cheaper so we shall see what price they end up trying to charge me if it ever comes in. At this point I'm not even hopeful anymore.

The look was priceless but went to home depot in logansport and bought one same brand $20 cheaper and had like 20 of them together. Don't wast your time go to a real hardware store. Goods are just the main brands with prices quite optimistic and certainly taking advantage of anyone not using Google to notice the much larger travel stop a few miles west at the interstate interchange. I still enjoy dropping in a few times to support the local community, grab some energy, try one of the unique brands/flavors not sold most other places, and laugh at the prices for Red Bull. Seriously who is chucking out their hard earned cash for zesty caffeine?? My go to energy has ended up with the relatively healthy stuff called C4 I can only find at Big Lots but hey this place has ha covered for the immediate Route 24 amp up to keep driving. Real glad to see BP gas too, much better stuff than Casey's (tho Casey's reward's app is excellent).

Overall, It is very nice in a small place, but I found it to be clean. I want to thank them for allowed the hubby to sit there for two hours in the twilight of the early morning! They were friendly and gave good directions and information about things around town; sorry, no names... They also had cheap gas. I hope I never go here again due to our situation, but yeah, this was a cool place!

I didn't see any prices on them though. I wasn't sure who was a customer and who worked there, but no one spoke to us, or asked if we needed assistance. There was no one at the cash register or the meat counter either. The shelves are sparsely stocked, and more than half the products can be found at your local Kroger or Walmart and for much cheaper. The very small produce selection was also not largely Mexican nor were the refrigerated foods. They do offer half a dozen, precooked foods according to the labels, but there was only two the Saturday we visited. I know ethnic grocers aren't known for their customer service, and in a small town, even the local American retailers aren't known for their outgoing friendliness, but this place looked bereft of workers and products. The food from the restaurant next door which opened into this little market smelled divine. They are probably related businesses. I hope the restaurant is more welcoming.

I noticed the comments about high prices, and for the area, I bet that is true. We found the prices comparable to large cities. The smoked brisket chili doesn't taste smoky, but the meat is tender and the chili flavorful. The charcuterie was good, and we loved the apple chutney. The space is open and airy. It's a very family friendly place with the bar and bourbon tasting room toward the back.

We ordered two lunches, both the 1/2 grilled cheese and soup. One with tomato soup and the other with chili. We also ordered the *special* $5 egg salad sandwich. The grilled cheese came out as some cheese microwaved between a soft burger bun. Really disappointing and crappy. The chili and soup were okay. The egg salad sandwich was very basic and lacking flavor, served on classic white bread. It was also a weird dining setup, it felt like we were eating in a giant and deserted beer hall. Total transparency: we both expected more from one of the nation's largest dairy farms. We also thought the food would be a little cleaner, like a farm-to-table experience and less processed, but it tasted like food we could get at a gas station. My husband was disappointed with the ice cream selection at the milk bar, he was hoping for more of a variety other than the basic strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, etc. We also needed to get DEF for our truck from the Fair Oaks BP and my husband called it "highway robbery" for the cost we paid. He said it was 2 or 3 times what he normally pays. In summary, a total tourist trap with crappy lunch food. I also didn't know about their animal abuse case from 2019 until after we left. And the allegations about neglect and improper slaughter in 2023. Gross and sad.
