I am extremely disappointed by my experience at this Walmart. I purchased Mexican Velveeta cheese on Sunday 2/15. When I went to cook dinner on 2/17, I checked the date and discovered it was expired by nine months (April 2025, and it's now February 2026). I returned to the store after an 8-hour workday and going out of my way, only to be met with indifference at customer service--no apology, just an attempt to refund $7. When I checked the shelf for a replacement, every single box was expired, most dating back to April 2024. I removed the products myself and brought them to customer service. I waited 30-40 minutes for management. The grocery team lead, Joseph, initially walked away stating he was still on lunch. When he finally addressed the issue, he admitted quality control wasn't being done. He then disappeared again while I waited. The general manager, Anthony, eventually came over, reviewed the expiration dates, and simply said "okay." No apology. No concern. No accountability. I was told the only resolution was a $7 refund--after all that time and inconvenience. I have professional HR and retail experience, and this reflects serious leadership and quality-control failures. This is a long-standing, high-traffic store, and selling severely expired food is unacceptable. This location does not need a scripted apology--it needs immediate corrective action. Corporate should take this seriously before it becomes a larger issue. read more

The prices are good but I really hate shopping here. many items are in locked glass cases snd you need to have an attendant unlock it for you to select your item. It's hard to read msny of the items and when you leave there's an attendant who checks your receipt. It feels like a police state. read more

Went to WM to buy a car battery at 8pm, but they dont sell car batteries after 7pm...though NO MENTION of this on their website. I WASTED $50 in Uber rides trying to get this battery because I really need it. Now I'm not sure if I can even afford the battery! I will NEVER again pick Walmart over Amazon! I would give Walmart ZERO zeros if I could! read more

The management of this Walmart is very lazy, especially the customer service department is very bad and lazy, they hardly work, and their attitude is very bad, as if someone offended them, and they always look reluctant! Especially an Indian lady with glasses (they removed the wall stickers with the names and photos of employees, I don't know her name, but she is not the first such lazy person I met in this Walmart) They are unwilling to return any items for you (because they are paid but don't want to work) even if we have a complete receipt and a qualified return date! Walmart is a Fortune 500 item sales store, and it used to have a good management system, but now... maybe it's just this Walmart store, the customer service you experience is the bottom of the pile, they refuse to refund a full refund for various reasons! And they will ask you to take the items to another Walmart store where you bought them to return them (even if you may need to take a 3-hour flight). It's really frustrating, I'm very confused, isn't Walmart a unified store and service? Does Walmart now distinguish between the services of different stores? read more

Great prices on average. Much lower than local competitors for most items. Nasty, rude, lazy, slow employees. Lots of pricing mistakes at the register but there is no fraud on Walmart's part because the mistakes are often in the customer's favor! Blame the indifferent staff. Come here if you want competitive prices but are willing to tolerate very poor customer service. read more

I visited this Walmart today during the morning time (10/19/18) and I was overall _sorta_pleased with this Walmart...they had everything I needed in stock, and the staff was Polite and helpful and called over a staff member once I inquired to assist me on getting the soap from behind the glass for me because the Soap was locked up--All-in-all, I waited about 4or 5 mins for a staff member to get the soap for me. When I was leaving out of the store, I had a lot of bags in my cart, and one of the employees asked if I needed assistance with my bags.....and I wish I knew his name to give him credit for my appreciation of the mere thought of him just asking...out of all my years of going to Walmart no employee has ever inquired if I needed help with bags and I appreciated his gesture although I didn't need any help, he made me feel welcomed and I will be returning to this location again in the near future--thank you for offering your assistance and thank you Walmart for having everything I needed in stock today. Today 5/18/19 Wow! I just had a Wow experience with the cart attendant. His name is "Anthony" as I was walking out he said have a blessed day and that made me smile. While I putting my bags in the cart he helped me put my bags in the car! A true angel!!!! read more

I go to this Walmart quite often in the AM when I'm getting off work to pick up odds and ends. Every morning when I go, a very kind gentleman greets me (and others) and offers me a cart. When I'm walking out to my car, the same man always says have a blessed day and asks me if I need help with my bags to my car. I always say no, he'll be more of a help for someone elderly or with lots of packages. Dear Walmart manager, GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE!!! I find myself looking forward to seeing him when I pull into the parking lot. read more

I can usually find what I want here, but the store is not that clean and the staff not that great, either. Maybe it's the area, but it's convenient for me. A MUCH NICER Walmart is the one in Neshaminy. I'll take the extra drive to go there most times. read more

I also had the worst experience ever at this store. I bought a tv and when I got it home and it was cracked at the top. I called right away they said bring it back. when I brought it back Carmine in customer service had a big attitude. i explained the situation and that I just want a new one that's not damaged. she said that's not how it works. we have to wait for the return to hit the charge card used and it would take 3 days. i thought that was crazy. You took the tv and I have nothing but a charge on my credit card. Then Carmine said I'm not waiting on you. In what universe is that okay. The security guard Dominic came over because he saw she was acting crazy toward me. He sat with me in the subway in your store until my son came into the store. I had a truck to get the tv I had to borrow. I'm sorry but if one of my employees spoke to someone the way she spoke to me they would be fired. I have plenty of money so it wasn't a money issue. I'm married to a doctor so it's not a money issue. Even if I had no money you shouldn't treat people like garbage. I wouldnt talk to my dog like that. Cindy read more

Absolutely awful. Specifically the automotive center. They don't help, don't care to help, and when a customer gets upset the assistant manager just hold up his hand and tells you to "calm down". My son is in college and I used Walmart delivery to send him groceries. The first 2 times it went well and the service went downhill after that. The drivers, despite instructions, left the food items a quarter of mile away from his dorm. The third instance they gave the excuse that the driver changed his mind mid delivery. No one could tell me where the goods where. They gave me a $10 coupon to makeup for their disgusting service. I told them to cancel the coupon and the order as I refused to use their Walmart plus service and cancel this membership too. To be competitive, Walmart needs to update their delivery personnel because they are costing them business. read more

Worst costumer services ever!!! The lady Allison who works at auto repair it was so rude and nasty!

Good evening to my Yelp Family!!!I have not patronized this Walmart location in a hundred years. This area used to be my stomping ground when I was employed as a Supervisor/Lieutenant for Vector Security Services at the Giant on Grant Avenue. It was good to be back today, taking care of items and errands when I got off from work. I was able to run a few errands in a short amount of time! To God be the Glory!! There is a huge parking lot here and this Walmart location is huge! Buffalo Wild Wings, Famous Footwear and Long John Steakhouse are some of the other businesses in this large shopping center off of Roosevelt Blvd, home to some of the worst car accidents in history!! Some refer to the Blvd as the worst highway in Philadelphia! I am not crazy about it myself. Thats probably why I have stayed away from this area. I prefer to take Route 95 when I venture up this way. I have received a few, too many for me, Red Light Tickets on the Blvd, which are $100.00 apiece. Thats too much money for me and it is certainly not chomp change for me, none whatsoever!!! On this visit, an associate named Tonia was quite helpful and friendly towards me in the self-checkout line and I wanted to give Tonia a positive shout-out for her efforts! They were deeply appreciated. It is so much easier to smile than it is to frown! The bathroom in the customer service area (the women's room) there was a sign on it that said, closed for cleaning and womenfolk would have to use another restroom in another part of the store. I have not visited this Walmart in ages so I didn't know where the other restroom was. I asked an associate where it was and I had walked past it, not seeing the sign that said, Restrooms. Anyway, I had a positive visit and I will return again in the near future. Good night Yelp Family!!! read more

Very basic Walmart. Store is often a mess and they are usually out of the desirable items, or just don't carry it at all. No real meat section. You're better off driving the extra 10 minutes and going to the SUPERCENTER at The Mills Mall. read more

I already dislike Walmart but this is by far the worst I've ever been to. I've only gone with other people because I would NEVER choose to go to a Walmart on my own. First, it's disgusting. As in the floors are dirty, the merchandise is thrown all over the store in random spots because the customers and employees alike don't care at all about organization or common courtesy. Most out the cashiers either ignore you or give you attitude right off the bat. Nobody is working on the floor, everyone is rude and miserable, and there are damaged items all over the place. I've seen bugs in the baked items and produce section! Why does anyone shop here??? read more

I cannot stand this Walmart but since it's close to my significant others current apt I get stuck going here when I need something quick. They never ever have the shelves stocked. I don't know what the night crew does but it definitely isn't stocking shelves. 8x out of 10 they don't have stocked what I need that they carry. And their self checkout area is always a disaster. Usually they only have one checkout out of about 8 that takes cards, the rest will be cash only. And as any Walmart they only ever have 2 or 3 actual cashier lines open with super long lines. I truly avoid this Walmart like the plague if at all possible. read more

Yes, I like Walmart. I like other things, too. Walmart is just one of them. Today I needed to stock up on a lot of stuff. I went on a Suave shopping spree and I was happy that they had everything I needed. Keratin Shampoo & Conditioner was in stock, body washes were good to go, and they had 3 curly hair foams left. Whew! Glad I got there when I did. I have to say, though, their cosmetics section looks as though a tornado hit. Lots of empty spaces, their nail polish aisle was horrible, and it was just a big old mess. Iw could see, though, that a lot of their employees were stocking items in the grocery section. I was able to find 3 types of teas; they had a good selection and I had coupons, so I was happy. Check-out, for once, was quick and the cashier was very friendly. read more

Store isn't organized and they had a lot of lazy workers. I've done pack outs here as an outside vendor and I've been a customer here when I lived in northeast. It looks much worse in the back than the front of the store. Too many managers of this and that section with know true order. I could tell by the chit chat they did more than work that they hire friends over good workers. Needs an over haul of workers. If they get rid of the bad seeds they'll be fine, as there were some good workers, but they got the brunt of the work because of their lazy co workers just lollygagging and getting paid. Oh and the attitudes if you ask them anything as if they weren't hired to work there. read more

This store is bigger than the Walmart on Columbus. But since it hasn't been renovated recently, the floor space isn't used very efficiently. This is most apparent with the grocery section. The only produce is in bags and the selection is very limited. One of the upsides to this store is they do have an auto department. But it also has long slow moving lines that seem to be part of every Walmart in Philly. read more

Horrible Pharmacy! DO NOT FILL or REFILL any scripts here. Service rep (gentleman) was not helpful at all. Must be this specific location. Asked him to contact my daughters physician to request a new refill on a script for allergy medication. He was uncooperative as well as VERY unknowledgeable of how certain things work. Instead of paying for a "Brand Named" over the counter Med. at a much higher cost per pill. This adds up and from a non Medicare/Medicaid non food stamp recipient- this is my personal route for a more cost effective out of pocket route that I mus take. It is purely common sense for a person to obtain a script for certain "OVER THE COUNTER" meds to take advantage of "Walmart's" low cost "AFFORDABLE" generic drugs list program. If it's not possible and can't be done or so he was implying...then again why is that specific generic drug listed on Walmart's drug list? Maybe there's no one at the pharmacy department who has much common sense. Great prices but definitely not worth the time and aggravation. Will transfer my other medications elsewhere or perhaps to TARGET! read more

I bought a hp stream laptop from this walmart. This product they are selling is horrible. It's not worth the money. The workers are uneducated in assisting you in getting the right product because they are clueless about what is on the shelves. The store is always out of order, you always got to hunt a person down for help...this is the worst of the walmart stores in phila. Yhe absolute worst. read more

I just had one of the worst retail experiences I have ever had at this Walmart. 9745 Roosevelt Blvd. Phila,PA 19114. I stopped going to this store along time ago because of previous bad experiences. I thought I would be safe ordering a pickup order, well I was completely wrong!! I waited 30 mins for someone to even acknowledge me after I checked in. Another 15 mins for my order to come out. It was missing two lids ( I bought storage bins) the one lid looked like someone spit, or worse, on in. At this point I ask for the manager, who was so incredibly rude. I told her I did not want the bins anymore and she told me I had to wait in line to return them. The line was about 20 people long. When I told her I was not waiting in line because I just waited 45 mins, she sucked her teeth and stormed away from me, mumbling under her breath. I honestly can't believe this is a woman they have chosen to represent their store. Finally the gentleman who originally brought me the bins and went back for the missing lids, came back with the wrong lids. He told me I could cancel the order, which I was more than happy to do..... Never will I even attempt to go in this Walmart again! read more

I really dislike walmart because I have never had a good experience on any of my shopping trips. This walmart is no exception to that. I actually go out of my way not to go in this walmart. The parking lot is always full and I have no idea why. The inside of the store is always a mess, items are often not in correct spots to match the prices if the prices are even listed at all. The lines always take forever. I even had a woman ring me up once with her hood up while she was talking on her cell phone. Many times I never find what I need... it's just a mess. read more

This location seems like it keeps going more downhill every time I go here. As typical of Wal-Mart, high traffic with nobody watching where they're going. This location is not clean and most of the people who work here have no customer service skills. It is disorganized and takes me at least 20 minutes to find what I'm looking for. read more

This walmart is always super packed. The one thing I will say is they're always getting millions of carts inside so you never have to worry about finding one. And every time I have spoken to an employee they were friendly enough. The way things are set up are very confusing and I never know where to find something so I always have to wander through the isles for a couple hours to find what I'm looking for. I just went yesterday and every single item I wanted that is only sold at walmart's wasn't there and that's the only reason I went there in the first place! Very disorganized. I use self check out only and there are never any bags for your items that you buy and the employees just stare at me while i have to go to another checkout and get bags. So while the employees are nice, some of them aren't very helpful. Only go here if you REALLY need 1-2 items and it's during the weekday. Otherwise, avoid this walmart and go to another one, there are plenty of better ones that are less confusing. read more

Not one of the nicer locations and there is a lot of riff raff at this location. It's convenient though and the staff is passable. I can't stand walmarts in general, but this store is a joke. The shelves are constantly empty and the employees are paid and treated so poorly that they frequently hide in closets and bathrooms to avoid the angry customers trying to buy basic provisions. I also tried going to this walmart a few weeks ago because my elderly neighbor needed something returned and, when I tried to get in the door 45 minutes before closing, an employee standing at the locked door simply kept tapping a piece of computer paper that said "closed." Seriously? The fact that stores like this can stay operational proves that our country cares only for factory labor. read more
