There is never a big wait and if I'm ever looking for something over the counter, the pharmacist will come out and help me find what I'm looking for, helping me pick the best product, based on my needs. They also have a drive through that usually isn't busy and they always take care of things with my doctors office if there is ever a mistake (ex: my doctor accidentally prescribed the wrong medicine and the pharmacist at Realo called to get everything straightened out). They do the things that you would just expect a pharmacy with good customer service to do, unlike the big chains.

Reviewing a pharmacy you say? YEP!…read more Edwards Pharmacy is a locally run business that has an old time counter grill and they make an excellent, excellent meal with a touch of southern hospitality. It's definitely a best-kept secret and you're not going to know about it unless you're a local or a local or someone familiar with the area takes you there. I was taken here Saturday morning for breakfast. The counter has some old Pepsi Co. memorabilia displaying around it. Most prominently an old Mt. Dew sign from days gone by. After ordering a Dew I settled for a fried egg sandwich with a sausage patty and cheese & some hash browns. It hit the spot! The grill staff was also great. They chatted with us throughout breakfast. Should I ever visit Ayden, NC again I'll definitely be stopping in for a bite to eat.

Winterville, NC As other reviewers have stated clearly this pharmcy lacks the capability to fill a prescription accurately or efficiently, IF AT ALL How does an electronic record and recurrent recorded messages from the pharmacy for over a week stating that the prescription will be ready tomorrow suddenly disappear from the system? To make matters worse after speaking with a pharmacist who agreed to investigate the incident there was never any follow-up or resolution. On a seperate occasion a physician's call was not entered in the system and the physician had to call in the same prescription a second time a week later. Customer follow-up by the pharmacist and the ability to resolve problems is abysmal. Stay clear of Wlagreens Pharmacy, E Fire Tower Road, I can assure you this is one thing you won't regret.

As of today I've waited three months for one prescription and three weeks for another. The pharmacist there is a great guy. Patient and knowledgeable, but the place is grossly understaffed. After years of being a customer, I am transferring my prescriptions elsewhere due to a myriad of issues from tardiness, improper billing, inflated prices, and restricted hours of operation. Basically the only way to get your medicine there is to wait weeks and leave work to pick it up during the few hours a day they are open. Premium location, crap decision making by manager or corporate. If you guys were looking for the tipping point, you've found it. My new pharmacy said they were gaining about three patients per day from that one store. Bye.

I DID NOT want that, it's a simple task that they aren't caring to get right for the sake of their own business and to provide great service. 2) it wasn't 90 mg like I had asked for. she had EXPLICITLY asked me whether I want 60 or 90 mg and I said 90. Seriously?! 3) also importantly, she had told me the most ridiculous and disrespectful thing ever, that "I can say I need this or that to be the way I want it" as in I can tell them I want my medicaid covering my prescriptions rather than them already having it in their very system. Why would you tell someone they CAN do this or that when they are well aware of that. It's just not my responsibility and that isn't responsible, it doesn't look good for your business and it doesn't earn you more money. It BETTER be in the system and cover it every single time.
