I genuinely had the worst experience I've ever had at this pharmacy! I had a tooth extracted and immediately left the appointment to take the prescriptions to the pharmacy. When I dropped them off, the woman at the drive thru window asked why I was getting the pain medicine (narcotic) so they can document it. I told her I just had a tooth removed and it was to help with the pain. She told me it'd be ready in 45 minutes so I went home and took a nap. I came inside the store to pick up 3 hours later only to be told my prescription wasn't ready. They put it on hold because my insurance wouldn't pay for it and they didnt think I'd want to pay for it out of pocket. (It was only $12) I told her I didnt mind paying for it, I was in pain at this point and really needed it. She informed me itd be another 2 hours before it's ready. I begged her to please put the prescription in store to move me up in the queue, however she said they had a lot going on and they'd have to "get to it when they get to it". I was in tears and told her id just have to wait on the bench for it to be ready. I sat crying on the bench for 45 minutes before she finally told me they were filling it. I was very disheartened by the lack of compassion from their lead technician Amy. You could tell she truly hates her job and doesnt care for people. I myself was a pharmacy technician for over 5 years with walmart and I never, in all my days, treated a customer the way she treated me today. I felt like an inconvenience. It wasn't just Amy. There were 2 other technicians and a pharmacist working and they didn't seem to care either. I will never return to another walmart pharmacy as long as I live. read more
