I had my prescriptions transferred to this Walmart 3 years ago--what a difference in pharmacies! I was presently surprised with the short lines, capable & friendly pharmacy techs ( only an occasional glitch), knowledgeable pharmacists, store clean, & well stocked. Was accused of taking meds I didn't pay for Not true THe cashier failed to ring up all my meds She put them in a bag stapled it with my receipt which Days later Call rang the person who called said they were going to check surveillance cameras So checkedmybanking found I had paid $10+ which had I purchased only my meds It would have been close to that with my coverage. BUT I had also asked for allergie meds $10also. That was NOT my fault the cashier failed to do her job I was not aware until the call of a issue I was running on 48HRS of no sleep do to a death I told the person who called that I told her I be there right away to fix the fing issueWhen I got there the cashier who messed up went around making sure the employees saw me the mgr? ask me two come over while she was ringing my$10 owed. four employees came up and stood at elbow distance of her to listen Odd that they felt the right of my privacy due to a cashier mistake wasn't necessary WAtch your Surveillance ,Because I cussed This was OKAY When I was leaving the person who called me loudly said Molly we can send your pharmacy over to another pharmacy? So a cashier who didn't apologized for her messed up and went out of her way to embarrass me when I got there, can do this? And 4 other employees can crowd around the MGR while helping me is okay. I've asked several people in the medical and pharmacy industry and every one have said NOTHATS NOT OKAY I apologize for wasting your time if thats the case Walmart in this year so far has received 1000s of dollars in prescription's from me . Never have I been treated like this. Never have people stood over while I was being rung up Never have I had issues in your stores.Shame on the cashier for failing to do her job Shame on the person who called and said she would get the truth by watching surveillance feed.And shame on the MGR? for telling me not to cuss at her employees. She needed to do her job and tell the crew who hoovered over her while helping me to go to work . If I could give this 0 Stars I would. Friday I went in to get medicine for my 9month old baby! One med wasn't a emergency by any means but two were for things that needed meds fairly fast. We were told they had to order it and would be ready Monday. Well fast forward to Monday and nope never was ordered and they may have it the next day. I called as I wasn't the one who came in to pick it up my husband was. I gave the name and said I was his mother. She said in a gruff tone one was ready and said the what the med was. I said" can you tell me what that's for" as I couldn't remember the two and their names. Gabby (was the associates name) very rudely said "Well I can't tell you that you are the patient!" I then asked her if she wanted to speak to my 9 month old. I was floored someone would speak to a customer that way and one who they had messed our order up so badly for meds that were needed very badly! She was "nice" then on but. The fact that I may get it tomorrow and that the associate was so rude is totally not okay! We will be taking our business to Safeway from here on out! read more

They lost my insurance information since last month. I found out, not because they informed me, but because I called and asked them why, after looking at the app for my status, my medication was showing the no insurance price. She, the vaccine technician, proceeded to tell me I hadn't been there before and didn't have insurance. I disagreed. It's the only Walmart I've ever been to in the area (also the only one in my town) and I have the medication I picked up last month showing on the app. She said "weeeellll, the no insurance price is there because you don't have insurance and you weren't here last month. No record of you."...I do have insurance and they lost my information since July, basically. Long story short, I gave her my information over the phone multiple times. The prescription is the same price I paid last month...connect the dots, technician! When she said, at first, the information didn't show me as a member of insurance on the insurance system, she continued her condescending tone and treatment as if I was completely delusional. Apparently, I have a really weird MemberID number, too?? Don't ask... Being on my husband's insurance and getting extremely frustrated with her unwarranted behavior, I had him repeat the information for her. Magically, it all of a sudden works! I gave the same information to her twice but of course, it was his wife's fault that there was a mix up and I should have said his name, not my own. My name is on my insurance, I used the same card last month, and I've never had this problem. So, what the heck, lady? I don't mind mistakes. I do mind they lost my private information. Moreover, the main reason I had to say something is that from 10 seconds in she was rude, condescending, immediately customer blaming, and at the end of the day, in the wrong. Walmart, and any pharmacy, needs to employ detail oriented, caring, sympathetic, and patient people who are willing to treat customers with respect and admit their mistakes...or in this case, incompetence. Now, I've had no problems with previous employees there in the store or the pharmacy as far as treatment, let me make that clear. Shopping in the store has always been easy, fast, and the employees are friendly and helpful. The low rating is for this "technician" and the fact that my prescription was sent in 22 hours ago and will still be another hour. This is a medication that is in stock. It's also obvious from the price I paid last month that I have insurance. There was no call or check in about not having my information. The difference in price isn't $10. We're talking $777! Yes, things may be behind during these strange times, however, important and sometimes life saving medication shouldn't be on the back burner. This isn't a huge town and Walmart has enough money to invest in proper training for their employees regarding treatment of human beings and being sensitive to the fact that people with disabilities, or terminal illnesses, or serious conditions rely on pharmacies for their medications. You shouldn't expect a hug and a cookie, but you should be treated with respect and understanding. Please consider who you hire at your pharmacy and train them in humility and customer service...or don't have them deal with customers, period. Prescriptions, and lets not mention the costs, and health are stressful enough. We really don't need rudeness and meanness on top of it. read more
