I have been treated for skin cancers but my dermatologist finally retired. I asked my primary care physician for a referral as I had some concerns. I receive the referral to this clininic and called in late October 2024. The earliest appointment available was in mid April 2025. I subsequently found a dermatologist certified in MOHS who i was able to make an appointment with significantly sooner. My new dermatologist is in Seattle about a 2 1/2 hours drive from Port Angeles. I can drive to my new dermatologist multiple times prior to April 2024. I enjoy living in Port Angeles, but you can't seem to get medical care here timely. I don't ind the drive to Seattle. While there I can get some shopping and dining taken care of in addition to real medical care. read more

The medical portion of my visit was very positive, professional and efficient. The cosmetic visit was not. I was charged $75 for a consultation that would be applied to my next visit... However that $75 credit is only applied to very specific services. The consult visit recommended services at their location 1.5 hours away! I called a couple of times to discuss how this didn't see reasonable. Why couldn't the $75 be credited towards the cosmetic services that their doctors provide (injectables)? A ten minute conversation was not worth it. Pass on the consultation there are other places that offer these services (and with better parking). Disappointed. read more

I have had two surgeries for skin cancer before moving to WA. I contacted Frontier Dermatology for the necessary annual screenings and follow up for previous skin cancer surgeries. I was referred to Haley Gravely, PA-C, and have seen her ever since. Ms. Gravely is very thorough, keeps you informed and included in decisions on future care, and she is extremely professional. She and the staff at Frontier Dermatology are patient orientated, and I would recommend Frontier Dermatology to anyone looking for quality care. read more

Unprofessional reception attire. Too much cleavage and piercings to be considered professional. I waited 45 minutes in an exam room for the PA/C to examine me. She seemed like she was in such a hurry she never even made eye contact with me. She just kept wanting me to give her high fives? I received good care when the now Frontier Dermatology was Silver Falls Dermatology (I was seen by Vlad). However my February 20024 appointment was very frustrating and unprofessional. I was waiting, in gown, in an examination room. After 45 minutes I called what I thought was the front desk (I was in a gown) to check on the delay, but my phone call went to an office in Oregon (mother ship?). Quickly 3 members of the staff came in (clearly they had been notified to address the situation) and said there had been an emergency. Not so. They were having a training session and forgot there was just one more patient to see. Stuff happens, but honesty should prevail. I was given cursory check by the woman who was leading the training session. I was told I was lucky as she was actually a dermatologist. I did not see Halley who I had made the appointment with and the exam 'notes' were written by a person that did not examine me. Furthermore I was billed as a new patient (additional $100) which I was not. I have stopped by the Port Angeles office twice and called the Frontier billing department several times and while you can quickly reach a person in billing they do not have authorization to adjust an incorrect charge and the promised call back from the manager (who does have the authorization) does not happen. I had paid the bill shortly after my appointment. Life in short so this review is my last expenditure of valuable time. read more

It took several calls and may too much time on hold waiting to speak to a receptionist to book a consultation appt. Turns out, you have to pay them $75 for a consult, and you have to book a consult to get pricing and service information. I've had laser hair removal done before, and information on services and pricing has always been free. I don't understand having to pay to get pricing information, even if it does go against any future services. How do I know if I can afford or want to pay the price for the services? Nothing is on their website. Surely there is an easier-to-work-with provider in the Greater Seattle area? read more

My experience here was very positive, from the friendly receptionist, the cheery nurse, and the calm and knowledgeable doctor (Matthew Rand). I had a mole scraped off and another thing frozen and all went well. I'm so happy to have a new dermatologist I can trust. read more

We have been neglected by this provider. We have tried for 13 days to get ahold of him because my husband started flourouracil and was instructed to see this provider within two weeks of commencing this serious treatment. They have an answering service located in Oregon. They will not return my call. We have called so many times and the person answering the phone says that they will let Abaturov know and will have them call us back. Now we can't get a call back about my husbands healthcare. I am calling the Washington State Department to lodge a complaint for medical negligence. This has been a nightmare. read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a professional medical office. The office changed locations and I mistakenly went to the wrong place. I called left a message letting office staff know I was a short distance away and I was hurrying. When I got there I was rudely told I was late and the dr was leaving. Then told to wait, was taken back to patient room and dr came in clearly not happy. Asked a few questions look at my skin, asked if there was anything else and I said yes I have a concern and she belittled my request and then said anything else and I said yes and asked about same concern and she huffed out a response and proceeded to take care of it. At the end she scolded me for being late and said if that ever happens again she won't wait. Mind you it was maybe 10 minutes and I also called and left a message telling them. I'm not a late person and I always try to be respectful of others time, but she was down right rude and had the worst bedside manner I've ever witnessed. She won't get a next time from me. I was in the office for no more than 15 minutes and it would have been less had she not complied with my concern. Cost me over $500 for rudeness and hostility. Avoid Kathleen Herzog read more

I called about having a ingrown hair cyst remove. They told me over the phone that the visits are from $90-$200 if I paid in cash. so I made an assuming that's what the removal would cos. I went in and the physician told me in the first 2 minutes of the visit it would cost $1100 to be removed. I don't have insurance so I could not afford so I decided to leave. they proceeded to charge me $185 for the visit for something they could have told me over the phone. talk about taking peoples money for literally doing nothing. Please be more transparent to people who pay cash. They typically can't afford $185 for a price quot. read more

I have had a cancerous growth on my cheek for a number of years and have tried to have it treated numerous times. On each occasion they used their go to method of freezing it off, THAT DID NOT REMOVE THE GROWTH. FINALLY I went to Silver Falls Dermatology in Port Angeles to remove it. I thought they were goint to do the usual observe and call me back on another day. The medical assistant that came in to treat me was Kari Walen who immediately observed that I had additional grows on my face and ear. She was really knowledgeable and explained my options to me with great clarity and understanding, and I was not expecting that degree of competency because all my previous attempts of treating the growths were for naught. She surgically removed and treated them all on my first visit, I was totally surprised and pleased beyond my wildest expectations. I Don't believe this office to be competent to operate. I had pretty much self diagnosed myself and when I went in. The dermatologist wasn't even sure what my condition was and at the last moment he changed his diagnosis to the condition. As I've monitored my condition and researched more it's actually not what he said It was. Also I had only went in for a diagnosis, and I didnt want to buy the prescription, but they told me with the coupon they would give me would make the price decrease significantly. So I said what hell can't hurt. But this wasn't the case, after days and days of just trying to get it right I only received 4cents back which I didn't accept and waited on a call from silver falls which never came. all this stress definitely didn't help my skin condition considering stress is the worse trigger. I will not be returning and if they guarantee coupons working make sure they get it right with the pharmacy you go to before paying a dime!
