What started out feeling like it might've been good experience turned out to be my worst.
Dr. DeVito is very personable and engaging however my prescription was incorrect. I also was given contacts that were close to my prescription but waited until i could get the corrected pair. After all was said and done, when I returned for my follow-up exam and explained to her that I felt as though the prescription wasn't right, I was told I would have to pay for the follow-up exam. That the exam would fall under a copay for dry eye, which I don't have.
I was immediately defensive as she explained to me on my 1st appt that I didn't exhibit any signs or symptoms of dry eye. Unfortunately I walked away with an incorrect prescription and will not go back there. I've never been to an eye doctor that charged for a followup exam for a contact prescription. So wierd, but in this world it's all about money! read more
