"Evening" Pharmacist, unprofessional and incompetent. Required to pay for medication before handing over bag, all medication was not in the bag; wouldn't give prescription or money back. Wouldn't take half filled prescriptions back. Unethical, and felt very scammed. Manager of the pharmacy wouldn't answer the phone to be contacted by CS, and never called back. CS rep for the store (Amber) and Walmart GM had to get involved to rectify the situation. Praise God for the both of them. If it hadn't been for them, I would have pursued this negligence legally. They (CSR Amber Barrong and the GM over the store) resolved the problem. I now would never recommend this pharmacy to any other military member/family member, or anyone else. I've heard rumors, but didn't believe them. Now I know. If I had been there (away on another base...this was my young adult Dependant-dependent on military sponsor), I would have never let this pharmacy take advantage of my son. He was alone, and was treated unprofessional and disrespectfully (as I was on the phone with him). Completely unacceptable...this practice of non-disclosure before paying, not completely filling the prescription; or, if out of the medication,(especially the primary medication for an active asthma attack), not telling the consumer to go elsewhere.
Just unbelievable.
Raised as an army brat; 27 years/16 moves/ multiple duty stations, I have NEVER experienced this kind of treatment anywhere else (overseas nor in the U.S.). I wonder why???
Note: the GM and Customer Service Dept. are the best I've ever seen. Immaculate store, parking lot, friendly and professional workers, always well stocked, fast service...well trained staff that will go out of their way for you. The GM runs a tight ship...the employees seem to love their jobs, and do their jobs because of their commitment, not out of compliance. That's huge. Flawless. I'd would just stay away from the pharmacy. Very disappointing. read more
