What an outstanding Pharmacy!…read more My first encounter with Hobbs Pharmacy was when my local CVS was unable to fill a prescription and suggested I go to Hobbs Pharmacy!! Hobbs Pharmacy had no problem obtaining the medication my doctor ordered. And they filled my prescription with a smile! They now take care of all my prescriptions. I will never go back to the big chains, or anywhere else for that matter. When I entered the pharmacy it was like stepping back into the neighborhood drugstore of the 60s and 70s. The store where you know the people, and they know you. They take care of you, because they care! After all, we are all neighbors. Over the years I have tried all the big chains since the demise of so many the neighborhood drugstores. CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Publix, etc. etc. None of them can hold the candle to Hobbs Pharmacy. One time I was actually waiting in the car for my family to return from shopping in Walmart. I had to use the restroom and I ran into Walmart to use the restroom. I came running inside the store and I saw an associate and said that I had to use the restroom and all that he said was that they were over to the left. DETAILS I see old reviews here. Unfortunately, all too often people only submit reviews when they have something to complain about. Not me. As someone who travels frequently I have interacted with at least a dozen different CVS pharmacies over the last five years in different cities and states. I've had consistently good service at all of them. As for the specific location in Cocoa, I've been going here since May, 2021 and have received excellent service over the phone, in the drive-through lane, and inside at the pharmacy itself. Oh, and I received my COVID booster from here as well just last week. I have never had a problem with this location despite their having to also deal with my consolidating Rx orders from other CVS locations where I'd previously had my meds filled in other cities. They are aces!

As of this summer, the government required that they scanned our ID into the computer. No big deal, but it's only supposed to have to be scanned once and then they can use that ID to verify pick up. Unfortunately, the poorly trained hourly employees that insist on checking you out, don't understand the rules and require re-scanning the idea every time. The prescription even said "scanned ID in profile already" on it. She still insisted on doing it and wasting another five minutes of my time. Then as she handed the ID back to me, she said " now what is your name so I can enter it that you're picking up the prescription". Seriously. When I reminded her she just had my ID she says "well I didn't look at it" Don't get me wrong, I probably acted pretty irritated over this. But instead of making the customer feel any better, she just glared at me and handed me the medicine. Didn't say "have a nice day" or "thank you" or "F%*! You very much". Nothing. That is what I'm going to be spending on this store in the future. Nothing. PS, due to my profession, I understand these pharmacy laws very well. She just wasn't using her head or following the actual law. None of her pharmacy managers who are nearby and within hearing distance wanted to help in the situation, either. Epic fail since I'm also in a position to recommend pharmacies to people. I didn't realize I had been making a mistake with this one.
