My daughter was seen by a local urgent care for a bee sting to her eyelid this morning -- the swelling was pretty severe and I worried benedryl wouldn't be enough. The NP ordered a steriod and we discussed the potential for cellulitis -- she ordered an abx to keep on hand with instructions that if cellulitis was developing to start the abx and take her to a pediatric ER due to the sensitive location. So -- steriods were needed and abx to have just in case. When I get to the pharmacy it took an unusual amount of time to get the meds ready. Any pharmacy can have an off day. So I strolled through the store with kiddo's eye swollen; she's irritated and uncomfortable. We start checking out and I realize the price is unusually high. There were 5-6 prescriptions...not the two I anticipated. I realized the NP either electronically rx'd other other meds that may be useful...or maybe a certain template of rx's generated for the problem we presented with. But between the urgent care center and the pharmacy I wasn't made aware of other medications I would be paying for and didn't realize it took awhile because they prepared all these medications I never intended to buy in the first place. So the pharmacy tech looked flusterd when I refused to pay for medications I felt I did not need (I have 4 kids and already have motrin, benedryl, and pepcid at the house). And the pharmacist called across the room "Well I hope she gets some benedryl because that's really important." There might have been some sass in her tone. Or I was just done meandering around a store with a cranky toddler at nap-time, eye all swollen from the bee sting. YES, I gave the antihistamine before I left for the urgent care clinic, thanks. I wonder if there is a way to include the patient in on prescriptions that are being prepared to reduce wasted time, effort, supplies, *before* checking out? We got what we needed and everything is fine but the process wasn't efficient for the pharmacy staff or myself..

They put sale or discount tags on the shelf under products that are not on that area of shelf. The run big discount adds on product that are NOT on the shelf anywhere and the re is a huge stock of their Brand. They put a good sale price 40 pound bag of sunflower seed bird food in their ads and all they had was a couple of skids of 20 pound bags. I am pretty sure a lot of people didn't look at what weight their purchase was. Buy one get one is pot luck because you have to carefully read the included items with a MAGNIFYING GLASS. Made an online order 12/2/25. Was suppose to receive it 12/05/25. Never came but FedEx said out for…read moredelivery. On 12/09/25 I called Walmart and advise if it didn't get delivered that day I was cancelling the order. On 12/10/25 I cancelled the order and Walmart took the charge off my card. Tracked the package and FedEx showed returned. On 12/11/25 The item was received and I called Walmart asking where to return it. After 30 minutes on the phone with a customer service agent, I was told I didn't have to return the item that the order was cancelled and I would not be charged for it. On 12/22/25 Walmart charged my card my card for the item. I called and explained I was told not to return the item. After an hour on the phone and talking to a supervisor I was told that I would have to return the item since it was delivered. I explained that I had given the item to my granddaughter since I didn't need the item and that 11 days ago Walmart had told me to keep it at no charge. Walmart supervisor said that the previous customer service rep didn't have the right (per policy) to say not to return the item. Now I have to return the item or pay for it when I had offered to return it previously and was told not to. If this is the way Walmart operates then they can do without my and my families business. I quarantine this will cost them more than the price of the item.

All three employees pointed in a general direction and ran off. After 20 minutes of looking, I asked pharmacy for an aisle number. Took another 5 minutes. Topping off the trip, I got to the back of the parking lot and found a random shopping chart sitting about 3 inches from my car. Two male employees were working in the garden section and could've moved the cart. They were that close! Sucks! Terrible customer service.
