This is a clean large store with usually excellent selections of whatever I'm looking for. GREAT condiment isle for sauces, marinades, and the like. You do have to shop smart with their 'savings' and discount programs. Read closely etc. Example the small print for strawberries on sale is to buy 5 pints! One problem I continually have is finding the price on some items especially fruit and vegetables. It won't be posted and then if you scan with the app the product 'can't be found'. They have everything! Good meats. The Salmon was reasonably priced. The Beef very good as well as the lamb. their international aisle was the best I've seen in Ky. Chimichurri sauce and marinade. Also, Asian food. I love to cook everything and it was nice to know they have all the ingredients! The price on beef was a bit high. Their produce was reasonably priced. I just wish there were more Meijer markets around Garrard County. Tired of Walmart and Krogers. read more

I have never visited Meijer without being disappointed. They are far and above the old Masters of Bait and Switch. They put sale or discount tags on the shelf under products that are not on that area of shelf. The run big discount adds on product that are NOT on the shelf anywhere and the re is a huge stock of their Brand. They put a good sale price 40 pound bag of sunflower seed bird food in their ads and all they had was a couple of skids of 20 pound bags. I am pretty sure a lot of people didn't look at what weight their purchase was. Buy one get one is pot luck because you have to carefully read the included items with a MAGNIFYING GLASS. This is a nice and clean location that seems to always be busy. Great variety of product here. Good prices and sales. Live the mperks program. The layout of the store has a bit hard to get use to as some things are placed oddly. Still a great store. read more

Do not ever trust the hours of the pharmacy. Always call ahead, and even if you do so, know that you may show up and they've already closed early. Happens all the time. It's exhausting. Definitely not worth driving for this one anymore. We will be switching. The customer service at this store in general is awful for the most part, so no real loss. read more

I have been a loyal Meijer shopper for years. The last two times I have been there, I have been overcharged for several items that I didn't catch until looking at my receipts. Both times I contacted them, both times I got zero response. At least acknowledge and apologize. It wasn't a large sum of money, maybe $7-$8 but now has me wondering how many times I haven't noticed. Horrible service from Richmond ky Meijer. A loved one from my family was harassed by an employee near the exit. Accused my family member of stealing when we payed and I had my receipt. The alarm went off the employee charged and cornered my family member. After taking the bag out of my cart she had to open it up there was five dollars worth of jewelry. She then threw the bag back in my cart. Horrible service don't go there. I wish I could give zero stars. read more

This Meijer is wonderful. The store has great prices for everything we need on a regular basis. It's conveniently located right at the edge of town where we have fast access driving from a ways out of town. The greeter is always nice and personal when I walk in. Typically, I don't have to ask a lot of questions when browsing for what I need, but when I do have to interact with an employee, they're always friendly and 4/5 times will show me right where something is. I would recommend this Meijer. Also, I like to keep in mind a lot of the employees here seem to be college students probably trying to get extra money on the side or just work through college. They are wonderful people for what they do. Remember everyone, this is a Meijer, not a Saks Fifth Avenue. Best of luck to everyone! read more

Customer service is awful. I bought some wine at the liquor store, and when I opened it that night, it was sour. The wine had no date of any kind on it, but had clearly turned to vinegar. I called customer service the next day and told them that I know they cannot legally accept liquor returns, but asked what else they would do for me as I was now out about $20 for some expired wine. The woman I talked to was VERY rude and just kept reciting the laws prohibiting the return of alcohol. When I told her I was aware of the laws and wanted some other kind of compensation for their company selling me bad product, she just continued to repeat herself. I have NEVER dealt with customer service this bad. Any other company would have offered an exchange at the very least, if not store credit. Don't trust anything this company stocks, as they will stick you with their oversights. read more

Racism is LIVE AND WELL with most, if not ALL the employee's of this Meijer location!! Hands down the worse experience of my life, I've never been somewhere so terrible that employees look down on you and refuse to completely help you all because you have the same color of their skin. The management here is complete joke!! This is my go to grocery store. It is conveniently located and usually a quick in and out if I need it; however, the fruits and vegetables haven't been very fresh and sometimes have to be thrown away before eaten. Cashiers are sometimes in short supply when needed but the self service is a good option. read more

Produce is usually fresh without bruising, I always get prompt courteous help at the deli, the store is usually well stocked and they now have apple pay! Just as soon as they get a "click-list" option like Kroger we'll be all set:) read more

Bought a Vizio TV from this location three months ago and it's a terrible tv that barely works. Can't return it because it's been over 30 days. I know that lots of chains sell Vizio.this review is in hope that meijers will stand up for their customers and stop selling shoddy merchandise. It's hard to trust a chain that offers defective electronics to sell me food or diapers or whatever. This will also serve as my Vizio review. Super easy and convenient for us. Prices some of the best in town. Layout is a little different but easy to navigate after a few trips. Clean and friendly. Would recommend that buggies get updated. Feel like we're cursed with bad buggies / wheels that won't roll, make noise, or want to drive nascar. read more

It was our first time here. I don't understand the bad reviews. Similar in style to a Walmart. They even have a greeter. Compared to Walmart it is much more pleasant. Raspberries were so cheap I bought enough for a pie. I found a good photo album. The employees were pleasant. Someone complained about the prepared foods, but I probably wouldn't order that type of stuff at a place like this. read more

Tried to purchase an item from the deli twice today, first time 2 visible employees wouldn't take the time to break away from their discussion to come to the counter. My mother was recovering from hip replacement surgery when Xmas 2012, in Berea KY, rolled around so we decided to order a holiday ham dinner from Meijer's for $49.95. The adequate components were the ham (it was ham, seemed cooked, and was spiral-sliced ... albeit watery and flavorless) and the mashed potatoes (easily made into something edible). But the "green bean casserole" was inedible, flavorless, soupy slop. Grey-brown goo with french cut green beans (which might have been edible by themselves, but who could tell?). And the "turkey gravy" wasn't far behind ... utterly flavorless and downright nasty! The only praiseworthy component was the pint of cranberry-orange relish, which we enjoyed long after the Xmas meal. We managed to salvage holiday meal by making our own green bean casserole (from frozen green beans, condensed mushroom soup, and self-battered/fried yellow onion topping) with and a jar of beef gravy (mixed with pan drippings from a recently roasted chicken) ... which should suggest our level of desperation upon tasting Meijer's offerings. We've learned our lesson and hope to help others avoid such a waste of money. We have been convinced to avoid these package deals and to cook meals ourselves. We encourage Meijer's management (love your produce section!) to offer tastings of their holiday dinner components before purchase and for customers to insist upon such tastings. One final note: both Kroger's and Meijer's offers holiday meals. We chose Meijer's because of a somewhat abrupt/rude person behind Kroger's deli counter. Both chains offer these holiday meal kits and both are inflexible about the components of the meals (no one in my family likes pumpkin pie, Kroger's). Both would be well-advised to afford some choice in side dishes, although we are unlikely to avail ourselves of their holiday offerings again (without some serious marketing efforts {grin} ... these holiday kits could be a great boon and widely sold, but not as implemented in our experience.) Just picked up our Cooked Ham and Turkey Dinners Yes we bought one of each. the turkey was a Butterball fully cooked turkey still in the wrapper, it was frozen and not edible, the mashed potatoes were In a bag and yet to be heated. The ham was a spiral ham still in the wrapper?What happened to a fully cooked dinner. brought it all back and we are eating Chinese takeout - ala The Christmas Story.
