Such work is jobbed out and HD doesn't back up the quality of the work. Having said that, we went yesterday for a replacement flourescent tube and a fuse for it. Like many HD shoppers, I've often found it difficult to find an employee to help find something. Yesterday, a super HD worker named Colin was on the spot even as we stood in front of the light bulbs looking for a 3-way bulb. Not only did he offer help without being asked, but instructed me on how to adjust the brightness tone on the bulb I was going to buy. Yes, there were some words to that effect on the package, but I'm sure I wouldn't have bothered to read closely. It's a light bulb. Colin next kept us from buying the wrong flourescent tube. What we'd picked up was a 12w and we needed a 15w. (Always helpful when shopping for a replacement anything to bring the old one with you.) Turned out HD did not have an 18-inch 15w, but at least we didn't have to come back to return the wrong one. And then Colin found the correct fuse we needed, Done. (We did get to Ace on Summer St in time to grab the last 18" 15w tube they had in stock.) Helpful and knowledgable employees can certainly make all the difference in any shopping experience.

The service from the sales person could of been better. From getting someone in for measurements to the items coming in were not communicated well at all. Measurements were suppose to be done with 72 hours, this did not happen so I had to call the store twice only to find out the order was placed incorrectly. Had I not called I'd probably still be waiting. When it came time for installation the wrong back storm door was ordered! What is saving this review is the installation crew, Conlee and Dylan. They went over and beyond. They were able to correct the wrong door and get a new one here within minutes. They were professional. Did a great job with the installation. Totally respected the property. They cleaned up during and after the installation Explained everything as they were doing it. Just great service there. The actual store service people were disappointing. The actual doors themself were priced reasonable, and they provided nice discounts.

I did in the very beginning it was pleasant experience so I think we all had a choice to wear one or not. It's an overwhelming store if you get sensory overload pretty easily, and I absolutely do. There's just so much different things to see, smell, and touch! Once I noticed they had mini Mason jars like what I needed, however, all was well. I'd been to another store looking for them with no luck, so I was a little shopping fatigued (is that a thing?). I was really glad to see that they were individual jars and they didn't come packaged together in an amount I didn't need. I looked to buy some presents for friends, but didn't really find anything. The selection is fantastic at this store, though, and the areas are clean and labeled properly. They clearly know what they're doing when it comes to the holidays! The cashier was friendly and courteous. She even put away the shopping basket I had so I wouldn't have to. She didn't rush me either, despite there being a few people in line. All in all, I was happy to find exactly what I needed and see their beautiful holiday items and decorations.

Thanks to my partner, who has better instincts than mine. I would drive past it, thinking this location wasn't worth stopping. I won't write much about Weeks' Nursery. If you are looking for something more than just buying plants, be sure to visit them. A few times, the whole experience made my senses feel very close to magical moments. I even thought The Gray Cat would talk to me, but he was just showing me around.
