I would recommend this place to family and friends any day. Bill and Kevin are doing a great job running this place. I'm happy spending every penny here.

I have been going to this gas station for years and many of their employees are still working there. They have blue paper towels near the gas pumps which I like to use to cover the gas pump so I don't have to touch it while I'm pumping my gas. The staff is friendly and Chris is one of the hardest workers there, he works behind the counter and I even see him outside picking up trash around the gas pumps and taking out the trash, etc. The bathroom is always clean and fully stocked. I don't buy drinks or food, however I see a lot customers buying it and this gas station is usually pretty busy. Thornton's is not just a gas station, it's a convenient store with hot/cold food, coffee etc., Overall, very clean, organized, friendly service, very well lit outside and inside which makes me feel safe, surveillance cameras everywhere as well, great price on gas if your a Rewards member. I like that the employees wear face masks and are complying with the Covid 19 safety guidelines. I highly recommend Thorntons' Gas Station and get your rewards card for cheaper gas and great deals on items in their convenient store! :)

I was just there this evening and I got there at 9:45 to all of the doors being locked. If you cannot manage to run a business 24 hours, do not have the hours listed as 24 hours! This is honestly the worst gas station in Pinellas County. I would avoid it at all costs! They are supposed to be called convenience stores, there is absolutely nothing convenient about stopping there and having to leave because they are closed. What a waste of time. They should've put a WAWA here instead! Wawa blows race track out of the water!!

When you spend the money to by an actual refillable glass they need to honor it until your cup no longer refills. None of this 'oh, that has expired you will have to buy a different one.' MMMM, no. Where I am from we don't even have 7 Elevens... which is why I bought the refillable glass because it was unique in my home town. Now that I moved somewhere with 7 Elevens they won't honor it. Ugh, not thanks. So today I was back solely because they have a Redbox. Located outside with the sunscreen in place it is an easy in and out on your way by. The only way I will return is for the Redbox. Unfortunately I still love the 'Bug Gulp' branding so I can't say I won't return to another one but it will take some coercion in order for me to do so. I rate this one a D. Not sure why I am not flunking them entirely but it is hard to epically fail.
