I like Pilot gas stations in Texas because usually they have good prices, food options and more. This is a decent Pilot gas station which needs a bit of a upgrade. This is sort of like a hole in the wall gas station but surprisingly has Subway, Wendy's and Pizza options to eat. The Wendy's had a drive thru area as well. I did not eat here however because it seemed not that hygienic. I got gasoline from here and the prices are good for the area. Stopped here on the way back from Austin and traveling to Dallas Texas. It's fairly close to the highway and is within a mile after taking the exit. Across the street there is a McDonald's which seemed like a better option than stopping inside here to eat.

The bathrooms were so clean and neat, in fact the intire store was the same way. With this area being the fastest growing in the entire state it is easy to see why so many folks are moving to the Waco area. I just wish I had this place close to my neighborhood here in Austin. Went up to the cashier who looked like I was the biggest inconvenience in the world dragging her off her stool/chair. I informed her the pumps card readers weren't working and in a smartass tone she said "oh pump 8 yeah it's been acting up all day" and when I tried to inform her of the other side not working as well again in a smartass tone she said " well yeah they run off the same system", okay so if you were aware of this why has no effort been made to contact someone to get them fixed or at least put up a sign or some form of communication alerting drivers that the pump card reader isn't working, takes maybe 2-5 minutes out of your day to take care of that, or am I mistaken that when you're a business and you have a loyalty rewards program the point of operating is to show you care about your customers? Perhaps some reeducation of said gas station attendant or a replacement is in order, unless the end goal is to allow the business to fail?

I purchased $30 in gas today, and when I checked my credit card online, I noticed they added a charge of $151.00. That can be done with debit cards, but never credit cards. Although this charge may be there for 48 hours, it's something that I will have to check on until it's resolved. This policy is unacceptable! Never ever buy gas there unless you prepay with cash.

Today, I attempted to terminate service as I'm now selling the house and the Customer Service Rep. provides me my phone number and email to confirm I am the customer for this property. She then tells me service was never initiated because Atmos field worker found a small leak in the exterior piping. Then she says because I never responded to the problem, the meter was removed. However, she couldn't tell me WHY I was never notified there was a problem. Kind of hard to respond to a problem you don't know exists and since they have both my phone number and email, seems like someone could have notified me. Nope, all I got was "I'm sorry." I guess I would agree with them on that...they are pretty sorry.
