I wouldn't leave any stars if i could. Their customer service lacks in politeness, responsiveness, and general people skills. No one answers the phone in any department. When i dropped off my disposable cameras to be developed they didn't even seal the bag properly... so their lack in response now makes me nervous they lost my memories. I should have gone to a mom and pop camera shop. Walmart is not convenient whatsoever. Always disliked this store. read more

This Walmart is always very busy, but 95 % of the time I always find what I need. The only thing is really lacking is they need more floor people that can provide assistance when needed. They try very hard to keep this store neat, overall its a place to come for any last minute item at reasonable prices. read more

Walmarts in general are a great idea. Everything under one roof, no need to make a million stops, I can get lost in the electronics department, everyone is happy! This location is cool, been coming here for years! Not far from the highway, lots of good eats nearby, huge parking lot. I've noticed the selection in long island WalMart's is not that great. Maybe its because they aren't any "Super" walmarts? This one is no different, sometimes they have it, sometimes they don't. Employees are okay, always busy restocking. They could do a better job bringing the shopping carts back inside the store, sometimes I have to chase people down in the parking lot to get there cart (as others are doing the same). overall....a place where I can get my shaving cream, new release dvds, and a new tennis racket.....I'm down with that! read more

The result was I ended up purchasing items there I had planned to visit Michael's & Home Depot to buy. Also, using Walmart's app to find where what you are looking for can be found is genius! Waited 45 minutes for someone to cut fabric for me. Talked to three different people who called for someone to come and cut the fabric and no one showed up. Spoke to a manager and still no one. Very aggravating, granted we came later during the day but still. Very ridiculous. Regardless all the sale associates were super nice but the manager I spoke too didn't give a crap that we were waiting so long. I think I'll stick to the Westbury Location. read more

I always hated this Walmart the management is totally incompetent, I have had a few issues with them especially regarding their lack of competence in pricing items and or taking down sale prices. Now they are IMPROVING the walmart which has consisted of a reduction of check out lanes and a lone person standing at the door and trying to scan everyone's receipt, as well as their items. This caused me a 13 minute delay in leaving. If this is the way that Wally world thinks they should treat customers, I guess I know why Amazon is winning so much. read more

Lines can be a bit long but the staff is fast and friendly. The Pharmacy is great and they go out of their way to take care of you. Prices are good along with the selection. If you want a bargain check out headphones for phones and accessories. I found some great ear buds for $5.00 with great sound and mic for my Android phone. Sometimes they have closeouts and "Specials" tables where you can find even better deals. Just check merchandise carefully. Caution - The Subway food shop in the store was not great, messed up my order and would not fix it. People in the Subway store did not care. I am glad they have nothing directly to do with Wal-mart. Find parking and roam in the store, you'll find some good deals. Mobil 1 motor oil $26 for a 5 gallon jug also top grade not basic oil filter was only $6.50 and there are coupons once in a while. The worst shopping experience on LI. The cashiers randomly open and close. There could be 10 people on line and they just close down. They usually do this when the lines back up which is most of the time now. I think they purposely shut down cashiers to keep the lines long. Manager has let this happen for years now. Such a horrible Walmart. Went in earlier this week, no help on the floor and the people that were on the floor were all focused on their phones more than helping anyone. The store had very few registers open at checkout and the lines were 10 people deep, I dropped the few things I planned on buying and walked out. Someone on the overhead PA system was also making closing announcements every 5 minutes an hour before the store closed. Super irritating to hear that many announcements that long before the store closed Al the girls at the "customer service" counter were talking and on their phones. Horrible customer service. Went to return something and I started walking up to the counter and the associate said, "stay there" (as in wait in line) and walked away. Now I didn't mind waiting for the other available associate but my gosh how rude is that. Simply say, "I just closed. Sorry. But this associate will help you when she's done" another problem was when we were leaving the store. My dad purchased A LOT of items and he had a question about credit and the cashier didn't respond, nor did she greet us or say have a nice day.They need to improve their customer service. Its a walmart store, much the same as any walmart store. But the pharmacy and their staff are outstsnding. They know your name. They help with any problems you may have. They take time with you. Great prices on prescriptions. I highly recommend going here you save money and are treated with respect. read more

Made the great mistake of buying a battery on Walmart.com and picking it up in this East Meadow, NY location. This location is staffed by the least cooperative, unhelpful, stupid, lazy and downright rude customer service people! Especially one of the day Managers "Mary", who not only refused to leave her office to speak with me, but I was also refused her last name. What an outright coward, she must be...and that is the very nicest way I can put that! Yes, I did save a little money on the actual transaction, but that was the extent of it. When I went back for services related to the product, I was completely disrespected and frustrated. If I could give zero stars I would. I've been to alot of Wal-Mart's in different states. Some are outstanding, some not so much, but this one is by far THE WORST! Staff really doesn't want to help they actually percent to then forget about you till you bother them several times. There was an item marked for a certain price that they told me was not actually the price but they never removed the incorrect sign. They just kept falsely advertising it. Thentried to point to add item with a different model number and brand trying to convince me that was what they were advertising. After that didn't work then I was told they were out of stock. I really think they were just lying and didn't want to help me any more. Not thatthey were helpful at all. The ASST MANAGER MONET was NO help at all just walked away and said the general manager will not come here and then said "I'm leaving get someone else to help you." And walked away.
