Love going to Trader Joe's for many of their amazing products. The staff is always so helpful to help locate any items you can't find. The store is very clean and neatly organized. They are always so nice to my daughter when we go. They have free stickers at the register which change seasonally. It's my daughter's favorite part going here. There is always cute designs. Depending when you go the parking lot can be a bit hectic. I recommend going off hours if you want to get in and out without issue. read more

I come here a lot. This is one that is closest to my home and they always have the seasonal finds I'm looking for and then some. Customer service is top tier here. Associates will go above and beyond to help you find a product you are looking for. The isles are always clean and well organized. My only complaint is the parking lot. I'm ecstatic as I just picked up a mini grinch Grump christmas tree from Trader Joe's. It's soo cute and goes perfectly on my dining table as fun, quirky holiday centerpiece. I also picked up some fresh organic veggies, organic bone broth, organic garlic and gluten free bread.. all I need to make healthy winter-friendly soups and meals all week long. I was in the area and I had to do a Trader Joe's run. I even had a list this time! I was able to pretty much get everything on my list. The shelves were well stocked. I saw plenty of employees walking around stocking shelves and helping other customers. My cashier was Katherine. B and she was wonderful. Very friendly and had bags doubled ready to go. I did forget my reusable bag, so her doubled bags came in very handy. She also rang up my items by category to make bagging easier; frozen stuff first, then fridge stuff, then shelf stuff. I love Trader Joe's! I'm here 1-3 times per month. The service is always great and the workers are always willing to help you look for new items. My mom has a thing for the seasonal bags so I'm always checking for them for here. The only thing I don't love about this location is the parking. It's always congested but I do tend to visit during high traffic periods. read more

I have been coming to this Trader Joe's since I first started shopping for groceries, so I will always have nostalgia for it. I can still recall when the registers were in this weird line across the front of the store, behind a counter and not at all like a grocery store. The staff is always nice and helpful. The selection can be either very good or picked over but you know how that goes and I'm sure there are people who plan better than I do, so I can't fault the store for that. I will say that the produce isn't as good as other TJ's and if there were one even nearly as close to my father's house as this one is, I'd probably never come back, just so that I could avoid the parking lot horror show. Coming from Brooklyn, there are other Trader Joe's we can go to (though not as many as Long Island) and we still prefer to make the 1+ hour trip because this location is just really nice. The set up is easy and flows, lines move quickly, staff super friendly and helpful. Also really nice that Trader Joe's gives the shopping bags for no upcharge so you don't have to bring bags or in case you forget. There's a nice selections of items and I enjoy many of the frozen pastas that you can add some chicken or shrimp to for a nice dinner. We also like to buy the organic items as much as we can when they are available. We will no doubt be back and the trek for this store in particular is well worth it! read more

LOVE TRADER JOES! Their selection is unmatched for charcuterie boards! I bought their praline pecans, herb goat cheese, manchego, prosciutto, brie, and pepper jam for a holiday board and everything was a huge HIT! They had plenty of gluten free cracker options which was perfect for my sister that's not able to eat gluten. The pepper jam was so delicious and not what I expected when I first saw it in the store but I wanted to be daring and check it out. The praline pecans are addicting! We wish we bought more! I love Trader Joes!! I wish I had one down the block from me & I'd probably live there! The 1st time I went.. A few years ago.. I assumed it would be expensive. For the amazing quality of the products, the great selection... Prices are very reasonable. The parking at this particular location is the pits so I try and go either very early or... At dinner time. Also.... TJs is a Mecca for weight watchers or those eating healthy. They offer Many many low fat, organic products. And ... they have the largest selection of low fat cheeses I've ever found anywhere. If I know I'm going to have a busy work week.... And cooking won't be a pleasure but rather a burden..I buy their frozen dinners. They're top quality & delicious. Dairy.. Less guilt guacamole... Chicken salad & on & on. And.... I had such an amazing experience today at TJ's that I had to share. I went in looking for seasonal items and wanted to stock up. I ran into Jeremy who worked there and asked him what were his recommendations and where are the seasonal items. He took me through each aisle and not only pointed out what was seasonal but what I could use the items for. For example, I had no clue they had a watermelon face mask that everyone loves and that it should be chilled before applying. Then pointed out soffrito seasoning that can be used on almost anything. Today, I went food shopping with my little toddler. This is the first time she was in the cart and not her stroller because we needed lots of groceries. The store was clean and everything was very easy to find . However, this isn't about the store. There were two wonderful cashiers that were just so sweet and bubbly . The cashier who rang me up was so sweet to my daughter while she was in the cart . She made us laugh at check out and said thank you for not crying and she offered my baby stickers. It was just such a lovely interaction and the other cashier helped bag my items and was so nice to me. Love my TJ store. Never had to return anything...until today. While unpacking yesterday's groceries I saw two insects under the plastic rim around a container. I immediately put it in a sealed bag. Then this morning I opened my coffee creamer and saw there was mold under the outside cap. I went to TJ to return these items. I explained what I saw and the customer service person also saw what I saw. Never said anything. Just reached over the counter to toss the items in the garbage next to me. Behaved as if I had created these issues. Never a, "Gee, I'm sorry this happened." I've always considered TJ to be many levels higher than the average supermarket in many ways but was disappointed today to receive such indifferent care. I don't know about you, but I don't have insects in my pantry or mold in my refrigerator. Had someone returned compromised items such as these to my store I'd be sure my customer knew I was even more shocked than they were and that receiving inferior products wasn't acceptable in my establishment. Heaven on Earth. Trader Joes is my happy place. I could spend 3 hours here and be in heaven. I'm just obsessed. From the staff to the products, this place is 5 stars. Let's first start by talking about the staff. Everyone I've encountered here has been phenomenal. Every time I'm there they talk about the products I've chosen and actually have given me ideas on how to use certain products in different ways. I love a good cooking tip! As for the products, their selection and variety are amazing. I love that there are many organic and healthy ingredients that don't break the bank. It's hard to find healthy food that isn't crazy overpriced. I'm obsessed with the brie bites and reduced guilt mac and cheese! The chicken and veggie potstickers are delicious and the salads are a great value. I always find something new and delicious every time I'm there. What surprises me every time is the value. Yeah I don't buy most of my proteins there but literally every other ingredient is significantly less expensive than at a typical supermarket but is made with better ingredients. Trader Joes surpasses Whole Foods and Fairway, in my opinion which is why it will always be my go-to specialty store! read more

A few weeks ago my brother brought over some of their pre made pasta and their was a stink bug in it. Now I buy my daughter some of their "organic" yogurt and it had mold in it. Trader Ho's, I LOVE YOU! You'll find me eagerly perusing the isles here, loading everything from the basics and fun seasonal treats into my little red shopping cart. Prices are fair and their selections are a no-brainier. You can not beat 29c organic bananas, competitively priced specialty goods and basics (beans, sauce etc). Their own brand of products are usually pretty decent (and often repacked household names). Unless you live under a rock, you know all this already. I've had a couple of misses with a few items (cauliflower pizza crust, I'm looking at choo'!), but nothing lost except a funny face and a couple of dollars. I hear you can bring things back, but I'm not about to do that unless something looked like it came from the bottom of a sweaty football player's shoe. Rant time: I never understood what about THIS particular Trader Joe's attracts all the rude, self-centered, "me first" blend of folks. On my last trip the tiny lot was chaotic as usual. A barely driving age girl was waving her hands and yelling at me inside daddy's Mercedes because she couldn't pull out of a parking spot. Newsflash girlie! 3 cars were surrounding me with nowhere to go! Inside people stop with their carts in the middle of the aisles, cut you in line etc. I even encountered a charming old lady who stood directly in front of the credit card machine as I was bagging and trying to pay. I uttered a polite squeak of "excuse me", which resulted in her moving her derriere THREE. WHOLE. INCHES. Lady, do you really want to know which groceries I spent exactly $63.75 on??? Additionally, the parking lot is small, yet everyone seems too entitled, or too busy to return the shopping carts. I've started to think that the super friendly staff here are saints! I have no idea how they put up with the crowds and the rude ogres that flow through the doors. Somehow they do, and they're probably much better people than me with muuuuuch more patience. Eeesh. Come here super late or super early to avoid the crowds. read more

My wife and I do virtually all our grocery shopping here. Visiting Trader Joes every Saturday morning is part of our weekly routine. There's a wide selection of healthy products - all at reasonable prices. The staff are all super friendly. The only thing I can think of that isn't great is the parking. If you go at 11am on a Saturday, then be prepared to work hard to find a parking spot. It's also a bit stressful to exit the parking lot when you're done shopping (especially if you're making a left turn). They usually offer free stickers and balloons to kids. Nice touch. Trader Joes has the feel of a small-town supermarket: friendly, relaxing. Yet, you can be in and out in 10 mins with all your groceries. I'm a big fan. EDIT: I'm bumping this up to 5 stars. I was very surprised by both the prices and selection. I had the impression that Trader Joe's only carried organic groceries. Contrary to that misconception, this location carries both organic and non-organic. What surprised me more was that the prices of the non-organic products (e.g. chick peas, black beans, tomatoes) were very competitively priced compared to the supermarkets which I usually shop at. Asides the essentials, Trader Joe's carries many prepared dishes (varying among frozen, refrigerated, and room temperature). A few examples include lasagna, burritos, paneer tikka masala, and wraps. They also have an extensive selection of snacks. A few other sections I noticed were the spices which were mostly priced at $1.99 for a shaker (some of which came with a built in grinder); though, there were at most twenty variations. They also had a small craft beer section which included a mix and match six pack option. The only drawback of this location is the parking lot. The only entrance is on Merrick Road, and there is no light at the entrance which makes entering difficult from the eastbound side. The front of the lot is also very congested because parking spots are very close to the entrance ramp. read more

THen i got in and it was like they were giving away shit for free. No one moves and blocks you at every aisle. AND when they give away samples its like all the soccer mom breeders are in Pamplona. I got my gnocchi, my dark chocolate peanut butter cups and some pretzel bread sticks and got the fuck outta there asap. I've been coming to this Trader Joes ever since it's opening. Where l do I even begin? Comfortable atmosphere, friendly and helpful service, excellent products that are unique, reasonably priced and for the most part healthy. I especially love their wide selection of packaged meals that could be warmed up in minutes but don't have weird ingredients or too much sodium. I also can rely on the food samples being exciting and even more importantly relevant!! Most of the time, I prefer going shopping at any trader joes over even Walbaums, Stop and Shop unless I need something specific. My only complaint is there have been several times where once I start committing to a certain product, they either stop recieving shipments or stop the product all together. I am just loving the effect that the brand-new best market has had on my favourite alternative grocery store. I have been to Trader Joe's twice this week and both times there were plenty of parking spots and the aisles were not crowded. If not for today's very slow check out fellow, both visits would have been perfect. This place has produce as fresh as any market and priced fairly all the time. Portions are fine here if you are one single person living alone or a family shopping. The items they bring to market are always awesome it seems that everybody that you talk to has something special they always go to Joe's to get it.
