Treated poorly,sabotaged and nobody would speak to me in a language I understood unless upper management was around. After all the training and staying extra hours because I was the 3rd person that I know of this happening to:they did not want to fix the problems and relatives (theirs and management knows that relatives all of them basically are in that department)in the same department....easiest thing for them to do was move me(why?) to another less paying department and I had to be retrained:SOUND FAIR TO YA'LL.... No I was told it's just too bad and there was multiple meetings about this because their behavior is being alotted. I REFUSE TO SHOP AT A STORE THAT LETS ONE GROUP GANG UP AGAINST SOMEONE THAT ONLY WANTED TO COME AND DO THEIR JOB. Footnote:I speak enough Spanish to know what basically was being said. Very basic but it was enough. Shame on this store for letting this continue to happen. I had to leave and I actually liked my job and hours(but they bullied me cause I hadn't hit my days yet to make union...that was on their side.Should not abuse union rights!)ALWAYS STAND UP FOR YOURSELF...you may be a voice for someone that hasn't found theirs yet‍

Staff is always helpful and friendly, if you can't find something they are quick to help you look for it, or help you find out when a shipment is coming in. Letting the plants outside the store that greet the customers wither and die does not inspire confidence in what awaits the customer inside of the store. The meats in the refrigerator section were already turning brown in their packaging. I spoke with two other customers, one said "I noticed." the other said "Definitely not top quality." Pricing was also an issue, with the exception of a few select items, this store appeared to be more expensive than other stores. My parents used to rave about Meat Farms, and I used to shop here all the time, but had not been back in well over a year, but it seems that the store has gone from a 5 to a 1. Very disappointing.

I'm not saying that this is not a good supermarket, it had a pretty extensive array of supplies especially frozen, many different flours, dried beans and lentils, but just not what we are used to. Spices, produce, frozen food, even outfits and puja items are all at your disposal. There's even a sweets section and halal butcher if you need. Not only that, but there was a tiny section filled with Guyanese products. It's not a lot, but its way more than any other location on the island and is much appreciated! For the convenience, the prices are reasonable and overall I do hope this store makes it because it saves me a trip from heading out to Queens for the necessities!
