I see why this store only gets 2.5 Stars! I tried to buy a tv that would not fit in my car.They said if I bought it i would have to leave the store with it immediately! I went and grabbed a truck and came back and the last tv was gone! Really strange interaction ! Not sure who Sam is but she offered zero help!! I would avoid this Walmart! I've shopped at over 200 Walmart stores - see my review collection - and this one was middle of the road. At 8:30 pm on a weeknight, the store was busy and the stockers were spinning up to put merchandise on shelves. A few areas were out of stock but maybe that's about to be fixed. Tidy, well lit and clear aisles. The checkout area was staffed appropriately and the restroom was clean. Overall, this was an OK experience. Note that this is NOT a Supercenter store. They do not have any groceries here. For that, they are adjoined to the Giant Eagle next door. Oh, and this Walmart tolerates overnight parking for RVs in their lot. I was trying to find a candy product my sons girlfriend likes for her sticking. I couldn't find it. I asked a sales associate if they carried the product. It was coming up on her handheld device that there should have been 13 in stock and where to locate the product. This associate, spent at least 15 minutes trying to find the product. We never did find the product, but I was so appreciative of her kindness, patience and that she went above and beyond what was required of her. read more

I had the absolute worst customer experience I've ever had a few weeks ago. The woman working in the woman's fitting rooms was so uncomfortably rude and outright mean to me for trying on clothes..... I had about 18 items in my cart but took only 6 at a time, the max number allowed. I folded and rehung the very few items that didn't fit me. This woman snapped at me, refused eye contact with me, complained that she couldn't do her job with me trying on clothing. Her all around tone and attitude was incredibly off putting. she snapped at both me and my husband. My husband offered to put back the FEW items I didn't want to keep. She just gave him attitude. We're in our 30s... not kids trying on endless amounts of clothes and making a mess... 30 yo adults who just really needed some new clothes and wanted to try them on before buying them. Truly, we have no idea why we were treated so poorly. I'm not someone to "report" people. I've worked retail, have had to refold and rehang piles of people's messes after trying things on. But man, I swear I don't know what this woman was projecting onto me, but it was a horrible experience. I really needed new clothes so I ended up buying most of what I tried on. But had I been in a position to wait on purchasing, I absolutely would not have bought from this store after that interaction. I don't intend on going back. And I hope this review helps someone avoid being treated like less than human. read more

The Pro's of this wal mart in Bethel Park are: 1. Smallest Wal mart, so you in and out with checkouts never being more than 8-9 minutes. majority wait times under 5 minutes for cashier. 2. Nice Employee's 3. Safe 4. Well stocked 5. Clean Cons. 1. No freezer or refrigerated section, so no frozen food or milk. ( Next door does,) 2. Not a supercenter so things might not be available here but so far not an issue for me. read more

Not a great Wal Mart. Employees smoking right outside the front doors. The cashier moved at glacial speed. One item per bag. Also, bought an air mattress for a trip. After the first night the air mattress didn't hold air like I'd like, but wasn't able to get back to the store until I returned to town. They wouldn't accept the return. I've seen Wal Mart return 40 year old car batteries, completely eaten food, and dead plants. read more

Rude employees mouthed off and used vulgar language when confronted with his mistakes. Employee threatened me with a ban from the store. Reported to so called manager and she tried to cover for him. She then also asked me to leave when I told her I was going to report this to corporate and have him fired. Poor quality of employees and poor management. Can not wait to talk to an actual manager from Walmart. read more

This Walmart isn't a supercenter, but I prefer this Walmart over all of the other local Walmarts in my area. They occasionally don't have something I need or want, but I still prefer them. I have walked out of the West Mifflin Walmart to people breaking into cars, leaving peoples doors wide open, and throwing all of their belongings on the ground. I have walked out of the North Versailles Walmart to police waiting to arrest people who are in the store. I have walked out of the Bethel Park Walmart to my car, safely parked in their parking lot, unharmed. This Walmart is cleaner, safer, and less crowded than others. I'll choose safe conditions over variety any day. read more

Welcome to a mix of a neighborhood And super center Walmart. This is your bare basics store carrying just a bit more than the green Walmart's. When I'm in the area I stop by for my basics that I can almost always find when here. The biggest downfall in my eyes is there's no deli department or cold or frozen food. They have a decent size electric department, a subway, a large outdoor garden center just to name a few. On my recent trip all of the clothing departments had clearance balloons so must have been a big sale going on. As for the staff they seem to hide a lot but the few interactions I have had where helpful. One thing to mention is the parking lot can get full being it's in a shopping center with other busy stores. Overall I would return to this Walmart if I'm in the area for its convenience. read more

The girlfriend needed some blank CD's so I could burn some music for her, so here we came to waste an hour. There's a Subway inside! AIIIIEEE!!! They're everywhere! What ever happened to the old-fashioned snack bars? I think this used to be an Ames, and this Wal-Mart is equally as lame and depressingly banal like all other Wal-Marts. This ain't no "supercenter" though. I bought not a thing. Watch the documentary "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price" sometime and pray for those who have to work here as well as those who can't afford to shop elsewhere. read more

Walmart is your budget chain where you can get items at absolute lowest prices. I seldom shop here because the quality is poorer however, now and then I am able to find something that meets my needs. Gone are the days when you had a "greeter" when you walked in and to direct you to where you are headed. On this particular visit I was picking up a cable which I ordered online to be sent to this store. The cable came in within a day of my order which I found to be helpful. They have orange signs directing you to the back of the store for pickup. You give them your confirmation e-mail, they will ID you and then give you your purchase and print a receipt. While I was there I checked out their electronics department for a padded sleeve for my new IPAD Pro in the new smaller size. I found a very nice and rugged one for under $20.00. In addition it has a front zip pocket for a small item. It will work well with my stylus but I plan to see if it will also work with their Apple pencil. Regardless it saved me a lot of money and will make carrying my new tablet a lot safer from drop issues or rain. Since it is a chain you can find the same things no matter which location you visit. read more

Do you recall old five and dime stores? GC Murphy's, Zayer's, Hill's? This sad little Walmart reminds me of all those old stores, especially old five and dime stores. It feels filthy inside, it may be clean as a whistle, but the dinginess doesn't allow my mind to feel like I needed a shower when I left. I know what you're thinking, all of my Walmart reviews paint a bad picture, I do despise all walmart's. But this has to be one of the worst laid out stores plus the place needs a good paint job. Small parking lot plus the fact there's a Giant Eagle connected to the Walmart won't add to your shopping experience. Expect to park a good distance from the front door. Also, this Walmart does not have a food section perhaps due to the Giant Eagle next door. read more

Yes, this Walmart is smaller than many other Walmarts. I, however, was able to buy all of the necessities that I needed. The cashier was slow but did not make any mistakes. I appreciated that an employee in the parking lot offered to return my shopping cart for me. read more

I went to this Walmart a couple months ago during winter in hopes of finding a reasonably priced heater. I was very excited for my purchase as the Walmart in my hometown about 30 minutes away from this one has never disappointed. I recently moved closer to this one and had to go as this is the only one close. I go in looking for Krispy Kreme donuts first for my roommate. I had asked an employee (after 10 minutes of searching for one) and they looked at me like I was a crazy person. I didn't know they stopped selling them? Ok...so let me look for my heater instead. I'm searching around. Online it says they had 3 in stock. I've worked in a department store so I know it's not always accurate. I once again go on my hunt for an employee this time it took 15 minutes. I finally find a new hire who's still training and they bring me to their manager. I tell them I'm looking for a heater and she asks me if I have the app when I say no she sighs and rolls her eyes and looks at me again like I'm crazy for not having the Walmart app. Didn't even know it was a thing. I locate it by myself eventually and I'm doing a little bit more shopping for some beauty products. This is when I realize I am being followed around the store because they think I'm stealing. I'm stealing but my cart is out with all of the products I've touched in them? I don't want to say what I think it is but y'all know what it was. At this point I'm ready to go. I couldn't leave in efforts of really being like "you guys treat me like this so I'm not giving you my money" because I really needed a heater lol I'm anemic and cold. So I bought the dang heater and my beauty products then had a self care night with my roomie. I wasn't going to write this review because it's inevitable to go into a white area as a young black girl expecting fair treatment from the holier than thou manager. I was told to make this review because they probably treat their employees like this too, if not worse. And that's my major concern. This walmart is small, but everything that i was looking for seemed stocked. It's not a super walmart, but unlike the similar walmart in Waterworks , it has a check cashing place, an eatery (Subway) and it seemed very well stocked (comparing it to waterworks where i normally go). You can usually check walmart.com, search your item & find out if an item is in stock at any location. that is helpful instead of wasting a trip. read more

OMG worst customer service ever!!! Placed an online order, 4 hours later left to pick it up and on the way received an email stating they didn't have the item. 4 HOURS LATER!!! When I called after finding and ordering a different item I was treated like an idiot. I am an educated woman who does not work for walmart, do not talk to me as if I am a fool!!
