Literally says on the engine how much to put but your guys would rather be stubborn and follow a book than the manufacturer's instructions.

Been coming to get my oil change there for years 5 or so years ago my mom got a gold ford escape it was new but not a new model it drove fine, eventually the oil light comes on and we take it to this walmart for a oil change, just like we do for the rest of our cars, get it done everything went smooth we were done in like an hour or so no big deal. a couple months later the car starts smoking and unfortunately we can't afford to look into it right away, months go by oil light comes on, we go to walmart get an oil change, few months later notice smoke is getting worse, still can't afford to look into it, we got 5 oil changes at walmart before we realized that walmart has been over filling it with oil past it's compacity because their book says that engine takes x amount of liters of oil but on the engine itself on there it says to put 1.5 liters less than what they were putting we took it back they did and an oil change but did it again and we explained to them put what the engine says to put not what your book says, we got the oil 3 change 3 different times after we told them stop going by the book, finally your manager says take it to the dealer and we will take care of the bill we take it to the dealer call the manager of that auto place and he's busy....2hours go by still busy....we had to reschedule with the dealer and the dealer mentions its roughly $15,000 to fix and the manager at Walmart's is now saying "i don't think us overfilling it would cause that damage anyway it's not our fault" even after we told you to put the correct amount you refused to do it you caused damage to our brand new vehicle and you admitted it was your fault now your backpedaling not like its coming out of your pocket Wal-Mart is a billion dollar company they have insurance for when employees mess up. I would know I use to work there and I gotta say between the racism I faced from the older woman greeter she use to call me a dirty Mexican and she would constantly accuse me of stealing because I had a backpack and I'd be in uniform, there isn't a private employee entrance we go through the front doors like everyone else excuse me for bringing a backpack with my sweater and lunch in it, she still works there and when she sees me she asks if I have my papers when I was born here, bottom line they have a crazy Karen greeter and a shady manager who admits his faults promises the company will take care of it and doesn't follow through. Everyone else was great though my management team in my department was the best.

Plus another star for a good phone customer service and the front counter people when I picked up the car.

I became a customer / client of 1st Choice Autoworks through Chris Tusow at SubiWorks, next door…read more Chris has been the only mechanic to mod, work on, or do anything with my heavily modified, camping, overlanding, off-roading builds...I'm really particular and developed a really close working relationship and friendship with Chris. Last year, he decided to branch off and focus primarily on mods, custom builds, and speciality work on Subarus whiling changing the name of the business to RFC Industries. In doing this, he sold the service side (oil changes, tire rotations, basic repairs, etc.) of his business to 1st Choice Autoworks. So I've been coming to them for the non-off roading specific stuff that Chris still does for me. Luke and everyone else here is incredibly kind, knowledgable, and professional. This past weekend, I panicked since I'm leaving for an extended work trip (1.5 months) which involves my heavily modded Subaru Forester and I had an axle issue days before I was supposed to leave. I texted Chris over the weekend and he said come to 1st Choice by 8:00am on Monday. I didn't have an appointment, and just showed up. And this isn't my style. I'm usually so highly organized and do my best to be respectful, schedule appointments, and go through the proper channels. But I woke up at 6:00am and was in Murrieta by 8:00am. I explained my situation and they were so accommodating and understanding and kind. It took all day but they helped me out and got my car back in good health and I'm so thankful they were cool with me just showing up. This shop is trustworthy, professional, and now is really familiar with off-roading and modded, lifted Subarus due to SubiWorks' and Chris' involvement. Please give these guys your business if you're in the area. They also work on non-Subarus. Thank you, 1st Choice dudes. I appreciate you!

We've had…read moreoil changes and services done at local facilities with great experiences but I was trying to find a more convenient and efficient way this time given the situation. I found Oili through multiple suggestions on a local Facebook community group and it came HIGHLY recommended. I never knew that a mobile oil changes service even existed until now! Upon reading multiple reviews, it seemed like a good idea to at least give it a try. After downloading the app and taking no more than just a few minutes to input our personal and vehicle information, I had the oil changes scheduled for the our preferred time slot only 2 days away from the booking date. They had a lot of availability and the amazing convenience of either having the technicians/service come directly to you to going to the "pit stop" at the Temecula Promenade Mall. The prices are very competitive with local services offered at brick and mortar shops and they often have promo codes available for additional savings. Every step of the process was conducted and executed with such a high level of professionalism- from the booking confirmation to the appointment reminders as well as a kind reminder of when the technicians were on their way to me ahead of my 1 hour appointment window. I met Alex and Mat Mat just as I opened my garage door just ahead of my appointment window, planning to pull the vehicles out of the garage. Their punctuality was a welcome surprise and they kindly offered to back out the vehicles for me. Both vehicles were serviced completely and throughly in under an hour and Alex and Mat took the time to explain what they did and what they found during their inspections as well as their kind recommendations. The vehicles were left clean with the most thoughtful goody bags and cute air fresheners left in the center consoles. With minimal effort on our parts, our vehicles were ready to go before the beginning of the work/school day. What a phenomenal experience and service! I would HIGHLY recommend Oili and we plan to continue using their services again in the future!

Trevor introduced himself with a firm handshake and made direct eye contact, a gesture that truly stood out in today's world. He informed me that they parked the van a little down the street and assured me that my car would be returned to its original spot once the service was complete. About 30 minutes later, Trevor returned with my car and provided a thorough rundown of all the work that had been done. This level of service is a significant time saver, and I can confidently say I won't be going anywhere else for my oil changes in the future.

In a society where we have online opportunities to…read moreshop, businesses should prioritize making sure their in store customers are taken care of and want to come back. I special ordered a torque converter and waited until the following day for it to come in. When I went to install it, I noticed that one of the studs for the flywheel was not attached and would not allow for it to be mounted. When I returned it to the O'Reilly in Temecula, I was told that the soonest they could get me a replacement was 5 PM. While this might seem as though it is a reasonable response one must have taken to account that my vehicle is in pieces in the garage and undrivable. I asked for the manager to call and make arrangements for somebody to meet the a delivery driver and get my replacement part sooner. After speaking to the store manager, Lorraine, and requesting a callback from the district manager, Bryan, I was left more frustrated than that when I started. Neither of them took accountability for the fact that my truck is not drivable and in parts in the garage. I ordered a part that I expected to be usable and had arrangements to have it reinstalled. Lorraine told me that she called the district manager Bryan at my request and asked him to give him me a call to discuss a quicker replacement. After more than an hour and a half and no call I called back and Lorraine called Bryan again. When Bryan called me, he told me that he was only just now being brought to his attention. The problem is the district manager pointed fingers at the store manager, saying that she did not call when she told me she Did, but I don't truly believe that that is the case. I believed he did not want to call me back and therefore wished that I would just go away. I'm telling you all. You have choices when it comes to buy an auto parts. This was an unexpected repair and I needed the part urgently otherwise I would've taken advantage of buying it online. But if you are in an emergency situation like I was do not go to O'Reilly as they do not care about their customers and do not think outside the box for ways to make situations better when they've sold a faulty part and caused unnecessary delay. To make matters worse, Bryan spoke to me like I was some kind of an idiot. He tried to justify the fact that it was not "safe "for an employee to go to the distribution center because it was a "hardhat facility ". When I pointed out that that was an excuse and not a reason, he had no response. I shared with him that clearly the delivery drivers figured out a way to make a safe exchange of the parts they were going to deliver and that his excuse made no sense. I am currently waiting for a callback from the regional manager, whose name I'm told is Pedro. My hope is that maybe he could do better as far as thinking outside the box.
