I was told at first I would only need a patch and tires rotation and the wait should be only 45 min since there was 3 people waiting. An hour and a half later they finally got to my car. Unbeknownst to me the tire that had a nail in it was already patched from when I bought the car at the dealer, I could only assume since I haven't had any issues with this car and it was the first time getting a nail in it. Turns out you can't patch a patched tire so my only option was to buy a new one. Of course they try to sell you two tires at a time at least and the only discounts they offer are on sets of four. Took a total of two hours and 20 minutes to get fully serviced, also ended up purchasing the least expensive tire for my car at $139 after the discount tire warranty (best $14 you'll spend, TRUST ME ON THIS) and taxes ended up walking away spending $201 for one tire + free tire rotation. Overall, the service men were very professional and nice. As I observed how they handled the other customers, I didn't see any issues pop off. What kept me from giving them a better rating was the time estimate I was given versus how much time I actually spent there. I would rather it have been an over estimate which I was told the 45 minutes was an over estimate, but clearly it was not. From a customer standpoint I could've gotten a lot more done in two hours if I was told that's how long my car would've took. Dealing with a tire issue has already stressful and inconvenient so I think discount tire should it train their sales representatives to gauge more accurate wait times to improve the customer experience. We called the night before & the mgr Neil was even willing to fit us in the evening before our scheduled appt when we mentioned being concerned about getting out of our location in the rain the next day but we ultimately didn't want the staff to be waiting for us so we went on Sat. (Later, we found out Neil had told his staff to be on the look out for us!) When we arrived Dallen, Jason, Devon, & Marco worked like a well oiled machine! All 4 of them moved so quickly & efficiently that we were in & out of Discount Tire way faster than we had hoped. Garrett answered some questions for us inside & was kind & helpful. The entire staff went above & beyond! This location is clean & conveniently located right off of I-10. We could tell that Neil manages a business where his employees work well together & are happy. That equals great results! You won't be disappointed if you purchase tires & have your work done here. I waited about a month to post bc I like to make sure everything was done 100% right. Took my girlfriend's Camry in here a few months ago for suspected timing chain replacement and they…read moresimply told us it needed a new motor for 6k. Timing chain was perfectly fine actually, I popped the motor open, checked everything out and replaced the intake side VVT sprocket which is known to commonly go out on these. Runs absolutely perfect now for the past 15k miles. Fixed it for $300 when these guys would've charged me $6,000 simply due to lazy diagnostics. I'm sure they're fine for suspension work and regular maintenance and it seems my experience was a one off with an otherwise reputable shop, but laziness like this cannot be accepted. Avoid at all costs for motor work.
