I unfortunately popped my back passenger tire the night before, so I needed a new tire. I was at the shop as soon as they opened at 8am on Friday. I was promptly assisted and was offered the choice of a new or used tire. The service person leaned towards the new tire because of the state of the roads and the amount of road construction. I ended up replacing both back tires because of the tread and having had to repair both several times. Within 25 minutes, both my tires had been taken off, the new tires put on, and the spare was put back in the boot. The price included the tires and a small fee for the labor. I was floored by how simple and quick the process was. There was no quick talk to upsell me or try to get me to purchase items for the car that were unnecessary. I had a wonderful experience at A Flores Tire and Auto so if you need tires or anything else to do with your vehicle, bring it to them because you won't be dissapointed.

Unfortunately, this location has been inconsistent. On one visit, the technicians installed the wrong size tire on my car. I only realized something was wrong when my vehicle's sensors alerted me. When I returned to have it addressed, the associate I spoke with was dismissive and unhelpful. On another occasion, however, the service was much better. The associate was friendly, professional, and pleasant to work with. Overall, the customer service feels like a Jekyll and Hyde experience. You never quite know what you're going to get. That said, I do appreciate the quality of the tires and the services (tire rotation, etc.) that come with them.

We finally went inside where he was "checking me in" and after five to ten minutes, he told me he didn't have my exact tire as a replacement but he'd recommend one. After 45 minutes, my car was brought up and I was told they couldn't find anything wrong with it. They hadn't even taken it off of the car to check for leaks in hidden areas. He said it was "unsafe." At least they didn't charge me but they also didn't try to fix it either. They just wasted 45 minutes of my time. I went to a nearby family owned shop who jumped on it immediately. Then he said the tires were worn on the outer edge and wouldn't balance or rotate them. After pressing him, he said he could rotate the front two tires and possible fix the slow leak. All through this time, he kept pressuring me to buy new tires. I told him I would want to research prices and he countered with, "We have a lowest price guarantee.", and gave me his card so that I could call him after I did my research. Then he said he couldn't rotate the front two tires nor fix the slow leak. I gave him back his card and told him I will never go back to Discount Tire again. Instead, I came home and ordered new tires from Costco.

I regularly take my vehicle in for oil changes and maintenance but have never received or been told all the things listed in this Total True Automotive Report that need to be repaired. I called to schedule service and was able to go in the next day. Leo was welcoming, courteous, and attentive. The oil change, tire rotation and alignment, and a thorough inspection were done in a timely manner. I used a discount code I got in the mail, but they also offer AAA and military discounts. If you don't have the money for repairs you can also pay with Affirm and if approved you would make monthly payments. This is a great option for someone on a tight budget. The one thing I did not like is that I know the AC needs repairs, but they would have to do a diagnostic before any repairs which will cost you almost $200 alone.
