I was driving from Florida to Texas when my tire light suddenly came on. One of my tires had lost all its air, and I was only about 45 minutes from the hotel I'd booked as my overnight stop. While I was waiting on the tow truck, I googled tire shop and luckily found Fisher Tire & Service was super close. It was the first place I went in the morning. They inspected my tire and told me I'd definitely need a new one. Unfortunately, they didn't have my tire size in stock, so they sent me down the road to another shop. Walmart didn't have it either, and after calling multiple tire shops within a 5 mile radius of the area I was in, nobody had my size. I called Fisher back, and that's when everything turned around. They realized they had my tire in their warehouse, and the receptionist offered to go pick it up herself. I wouldn't venture to say she was enthusiastic about it but that level of customer service meant a lot considering I was stranded away from home. The older gentleman who installed my tire was a lifesaver. He was friendly, got everything taken care of quickly once the tire arrived, and had me back on the road. I don't think he realized I know a thing or two about my car when he started asking about the wheel lock. Better ask about me! Well... he can't, because I don't know not one damn body in Pensacola. This whole ordeal set me back several hours from what I'd planned that morning, but I'm thankful this shop was nearby. Maybe it was heavenly intervention that I picked a hotel close to Fisher to begin with. I'll never need them again cause who's driving that long ass route again but if you ever have car trouble in the Pensacola area, check them out.

The mechanic told me that my car (2013 Honda CR-V) required Synthetic oil. I looked at him since that did not sound right. He told me that he was not lying to me, so I took his word. When the service was finished, and I got my receipt, I noticed that the discount was not added and asked him about it. He said he forgot to tell the other worker and sorry. Did not say he could correct it or not. I looked at my vehicle manual and the last receipt (Invoice # 00635-2119) and noticed that my vehicle did not require synthetic oil as he had told me. My other receipt showed that MAX OF (premium oil) had been used. I believe this individual saw that I was elderly and decided to take advantage of me. He lied and he was not honest with me. I sent a message to the company on their web site and they never responded. I can only assume that their business practice is to up sale regardless of vehicle requirements

Safety Concern at Vannoy's Tires (Gulf Breeze, FL)…read more I normally don't post negative reviews, but this one could have ended in disaster. My 17-year-old daughter had her car aligned at Vannoy's Tires, and when I test drove it afterward the car pulled dangerously hard while coasting. I took it to a trusted shop for an inspection and they found the control arm bolt VERY loose (see photos). That kind of negligence could have caused a serious wreck. When I called the shop, I was told they don't test drive vehicles after doing a full tire replacement and alignment. I stopped in a second time to speak with a manager, but the lady at the counter brushed me off, saying she wasn't a mechanic and had "no idea" what I was talking about--apparently with no manager on duty to escalate the issue. The lack of safety habits, quality control, and basic accountability here is alarming. If this is how they treat customers and vehicles, I'd strongly caution anyone considering taking their car (or their child's car!) to Vannoy's Tires in Gulf Breeze. Your family's safety is worth more than risking it on careless work. Completely unacceptable.
