I don't have any bad experiences with tire shops in general but my experience was so great here that I am more than willing to drive from Lexington. Thanks again!

My daughter's car had a screw in a tire in the smack dab middle. Took it to TD in Paris. They lied…read moreto me saying it was too close to edge to plug so "I had to have a new tire" for $141...I wasn't given a choice...they just put a new one on. I asked for the tire to keep...got home and we inspected and found they had lied about the location of the hole. It could easily have been plugged. So I went back in and jumped their case, after calling several times and nobody returning my call. Then they came up with a NEW story --- Said they couldn't plug tires 5 yrs old...showed me on the tire it was 5 yrs old. I asked to see the "laws or rules" that stated that excuse. Manager got on computer and printed out several sheets of information BUT it was only Tire Discounter's POLICIES and GUIDELINES that stated not to repair older tires and it was SIX YEARS, not FIVE. Manager stated he had worked for TD 12 years and had always been told it was 5 years. He had to eat his words. He took his new tire off the car, repaired the hole and installed it back onto the car...and apologized all over himself... They lied to a "FEMALE" just to sell a F'n tire. I will never be back to TD.

This was a top notch car buying experience. From my first contact via the website, the Dan Cummins…read moreteam was there to help me through the buying experience. My sales person was Aimee Sharp and she was ready to go for our scheduled meeting. She already had the car I was interested in waiting for me to test drive during my appointment. Once I returned and was ready to look at numbers, she had already started the conversation with the finance team. The finance team was great in working with me to get the payment I wanted. Aimee was an amazing sales person! She was juggling 3 different sales at the same time, but I never felt like I was waiting on her. The process was fairly quick and I walked out of there with a new car and the payment that I was expecting. Aimee even called me the next day just to check and make sure I was happy with the new car. She also went the extra mile in getting me something back that I had left in my trade in car. I would highly recomment Dan Cummins and Aimee Sharp!

At pickup, the vehicle was not ready as promised. I ultimately had to pick the vehicle up myself from the ceramic coating shop without tags, the windshield tint had still not been removed, and the gas tank was not filled. The ceramic coating itself was done so poorly that the vehicle had to be redone a second time. The financing process was also frustrating. I was repeatedly pressured by Trevor Maxwell to purchase add-ons I clearly stated I did not want and was pushed toward financing options with higher interest rates instead of being allowed to comfortably use my preferred financial institution. I was also told in order to use my preferred financing, I would be required to purchase GAP insurance which was simply untrue. When I addressed the issues of the ceramic coating and financial pressure with the general sales manager, Walter Johnson, I was met with rudeness. He only addressed concerns with the ceramic coat and was unwilling to offer any cost adjustment stating no simply because "they had to perform the service twice". I reiterated that it was due to poor workmanship on their part. Travis Roberts, the liquid diamond manager, was willing to help and redo the service. He did his best to reduce the inconvenience of a repeat service. In the end, the vehicle does look great, but it is unfortunate that it was a problem in the first place. What should have been an exciting purchase became frustrating and stressful due to the lack of preparation, sales pressure, and poor customer service after the sale. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership

Similar to apartments and such. So here we go, a review that's hopefully neither. Overall I had a good experience purchasing 2 vehicles through Dan Cummins, both the Paris and Georgetown locations. My dealer was Dre. He was very communicative with me. He did forget to mention that there was a fee on debit/credit transactions which wasn't great but I do feel like that's not a huge problem assuming the bank is open when you go, it was not when I was there. My dealer, of course, tried to get me to finance through the dealership. I get it, it's like complaining how expensive popcorn is at the movie theater. That's really where the money is in the industry. The finance office did make some competitive offers on rates and terms but ultimately I stuck with my bank. I never felt like they were using "high pressure sales tactics" or any of the scummier tactics you read about online. Just remember to have a loan calculator and do the math before agreeing to things. Ultimately it was a fairly smooth experience. Most importantly, the free snacks and drinks aren't bad! Of course that's not important but if your looking for value and don't care about nutrition you might be able to get away with pilfering a very unhealthy lunch. The prices on cars were very competitive. My car was easily 2k less than similar models closer to home in Louisville.
