Taken his advise, I have the new rubber hanger installed professionally by the shop and return the extra hanger that was not used nor opened. At first, he refused to answer my question over the phone and insisted that I come in person to get help. I explained that I was driving on a spare tire that seemed too small for my SUV. I could only safely go about 49 mph, while the highway speed limit is 70. I didn't want to risk driving several cities over only to find out they didn't have the tire I needed. After some back and forth, he finally admitted they did not have the trim I was looking for. He mentioned they did have a tire that was technically compatible with my vehicle, but not with the trim of my other three tires. If I had followed his initial advice and made the drive, it would have been a complete waste of time. He could definitely benefit from more training in phone etiquette and communication when speaking with potential customers.
