Every once in a while I stop in this store for minor car purchases - washer fluid, replacement…read morebulbs for headlights, or in the case of my most recent visit - a wiper blade replacement for my rear window. First, these guys are ALWAYS ready to help. And this last time they went above and beyond in helping me to replace a wiper blade that apparently isn't carried anywhere at this point (I've been to multiple stores trying to find the right one, with no luck). The item in their computer that matched up to my vehicle was very wrong, and they had nothing that would actually fit it correctly (the reason for four stars out of five), but despite that, they went on a hunt to figure out a way to get me a wiper blade that would work. It came down to a "break to fit" style wiper blade that had to be modified to fit into my car's ridiculously sized mechanism. But they did it! And it works just fine. I'm not super confident in the lifespan of the break to fit blades, but it sure beat driving 40 minutes to the dealership to get the correct piece. And even though it took them 20 minutes or so of their time, they didn't send me away with a "sorry, we can't help". They figured out a way to help. I've been pleased each time I've been in their store with the attitude and desire to help, and that's the reason that I keep returning.

It was weird because he had it on speaker and the customer kept trying to hang up and whoever the worker was kept dragging on the conversation. Makes me think he was doing it on purpose. Extremely Disappointing Business Practices - Buyer Beware…read more I am appalled by the business practices at this Camping World location. Having purchased from another Camping World location previously, I already knew that doing business with them could be a frustrating, time-consuming experience. Their advertised "Clear Price" also seems to be anything but clear once additional fees are added. However, this most recent experience goes far beyond poor customer service. My son and his fiancée had been working with this dealership for a couple of weeks to purchase a specific camper. They put down a deposit and were told that the deposit would hold the camper while the financing details were finalized. When they discovered that they needed a cosigner with a longer credit history, I agreed to cosign for them. Camping World then pulled my credit and submitted the financing applications to multiple banks for a camper they had already sold to someone else--without informing us. Let that sink in. They accepted a deposit, assured us the camper would be held, and proceeded to run my credit and submit loan applications for a unit they could no longer sell us. That is completely unacceptable. What made the situation even worse was the dealership's response. The Sales Manager, Scott, did not even offer an apology. Instead, he appeared more concerned with defending the dealership than taking responsibility for what had happened. The Finance Manager, Zach, did apologize, but an apology without any meaningful effort to make things right is not enough. Rather than take responsibility, they attempted to push my son and his fiancée toward a completely different, used 2023 camper when they had been shopping for a 2026 model. They also suggested obtaining the 2026 model from another Camping World location but offered no discount or additional incentives to compensate for the way this situation had been handled. They were willing to discount the used camper, include their overpriced add-on package, and possibly throw in a washer and dryer--all in an attempt to sell us something we had never expressed interest in buying. None of those offers addressed the actual problem: they sold the camper we had a deposit on, ran my credit for that purchase, and left us to deal with the consequences. To make matters worse, Zach stated that the other Camping World location had the 2026 camper listed at a higher price, but that they would honor the price originally offered to us. I checked the listing myself, and the other location's price was approximately $400 lower. When I questioned him about this discrepancy, he attempted to justify the statement by comparing prices without the documentation fee, which was included in both advertised prices. The numbers did not support his claim. Meanwhile, my son's money was tied up in this transaction, and he lost the opportunity to pursue his backup camper while relying on the assurances this dealership had given him. This experience demonstrated a complete lack of accountability, transparency, and respect for customers. Selling a camper that a customer has been told is being held, then running a cosigner's credit for that same camper without disclosing that it has already been sold, is outrageous. The subsequent attempts to deflect responsibility and steer us toward a different sale only made matters worse. I cannot speak to the intentions behind these practices, but I can speak to what we experienced, and it was completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone considering this Camping World location to take their business elsewhere.
