Made an appointment online on 7/1 for tires, I called them confirm the appointment. Jacob stated…read morethe tires are not here but will be at 1 pm. I had to call them back as NO ONE called back at 1 no tires. I was told they will be there Thursday, took a day off again no one called me and no tires. I was told by Jacob on Friday he said he physically checked and the tires were there. Guess what no tires, moved my appointment to Sunday 7/5 they had my car all day and GUESS WHAT NO TIRES Again. They have incompetent kids working there who have no accountability and just shrug off responsibility.

What an absolute circus. Easily one of the most ridiculous customer service experiences I've ever…read morehad. I came to Valvoline at 907 Old Country Road in Westbury for one simple thing: an oil and filter change. Instead, I paid $156 and got a performance from a manager named Santos A., who apparently had an extra-large serving of self-confidence for lunch. He handed me a form asking for personal information. When I declined to provide my home address, he made a face as if I were some kind of idiot. When I explained that I'd never been asked for this information during an oil change before, he suggested I must have been going to some small, insignificant shops, while Valvoline was a "serious company." Well, apparently this incredibly serious company can't even find an engine air filter for my vehicle after recommending that I replace it. What a joke. Maybe Santos A. confused me with one of his buddies. I have no idea. But he should save that attitude for his friends, not paying customers. His arrogance was almost impressive. He acted like he was doing me a personal favor by allowing me to spend $156 on an oil change. The actual technicians working on my vehicle seemed careful and professional. No complaints about them. Unfortunately, their manager apparently forgot that his job involves customer service, not showing everyone how important he thinks he is. I normally pay around $80-$90 for an oil change elsewhere, without the unnecessary drama. I don't mind paying more, but at least provide service that justifies the price. This was my first visit to this location, and I left genuinely happy knowing I'd never have to come back. Santos A. managed to turn a simple oil change into a complete clown show. Congratulations. For a company called "Instant Oil Change," making something this simple so unnecessarily ridiculous is quite an achievement.

Jimmy is much more cost effective and does a quality job. He's done all sorts of repairs on the hubby's car including tires, brakes, oil changes, new wiper blades, etc. On our visit this month, Jimmy replaced the brakes. They came out to $225 and change, which is significantly cheaper than what my husband was quoted at his last oil change (in NJ). Jimmy thinks that both brother's are named "Mike" which is funny. (Mike is my brother-in-law.) Overall, you'll be happy if you get your vehicle serviced here. Good quality work and good prices.

Five minutes later, my vehicle was being serviced. Four tires were mounted and balanced within a very short period of time. My vehicle, wheels & tires were handled with care. I was given my wheel lock in my hand. I'm estimating about a 45 minute turnaround from the time I arrived to the time I was driving off. I was prompted to go inside to cash out. Upon entry, I met two mechanics working on parts. A third person at the counter. All were friendly and carried the warm welcome and conversation. Cash out was immediate by credit card. I drove off with tire balancing perfectly at low & high speeds. Overall, the value service & quality exceeded my expectation for a simple tire change. The pricing is competitive. This positive experience will make me return with my other vehicle for tire service.
