Ended up paying over 2k just for them to tell me last minute ( a day before picking my car up) that the engine block was actually cracked and that I'd still have to pay for the oil pan and other repairs done before they realized when I had brought it in for a diagnosis as well. They insisted on selling me a full set of tires when I told them no and they tried to replace the single for a few hundred $ but I also told them no to that and when I went in they literally had a new tire on it when I never approved of that. Between the mishaps and the miscommunication from this crew, it was way too much. I'm a long time customer and have consistently brought my vehicles to Dobbs locations throughout the St. Louis County area and this is my first time at this location and I will not be back. Now I have to find another shop in my area to go to due to this. This location is the worst I've been to.

At first, they told me they would have to pull the bumper to get to the lights. And they pulled into the bay, came into the waiting room and told me that that was not the case told me would be $238.65. Since they already had it in the bay, I told him to go ahead. Took them about 40 minutes. When I got the bill, it was $185 for labor & $49.98 for the two lights. A few days later I happen to be driving by the dealer and ran in to see what it would cost. It was $162.00 that included labor and two lights. So I dropped into Legacy And questioned the bill. I was basically told I could've shopped somewhere else or told them to pull the car when they told me the price. I figured they'd at least try to match it but they didn't. So I won't be going back if I have to pay dealer prices I'll go to the dealer. They were friendly enough, just not up front and honest. As fast and efficient as this place is, they treat their workers awfully. I've heard stories of…read morepeople being forced to work more hours than their own parents here. This place is anything but flexible and have screwed many employees out of days off, I've heard most get about 1-2 days off a week and work open to close most day. All the while their manager has no issues with getting the days off he wants as well as leaving early even when short handed. Most days, this place manages to be short handed yet management refuses to hire more people to combat this issue. So as much as I love the work of the employees and how hard they work, I cannot and will never be able to stand behind the treatment and will never be giving this company anymore of my money.
