The owner of this company is Walter Umana. He and his crew are personable and hardworking. In addition to hauling, they have many talents, such as landscaping, tree trimming, and tree removal. I recently hired Wally's Hauling to trim a 30 ft tree and to replace the bark mulch in my front yard's gardens with decorative stone, which looks great and is easier to maintain (see photo). I will certainly hire them again. Once they start a job, they stay on site until the job is finished, which is just another reason for me to strongly recommend Wally's Hauling. read more

Wally's Hauling - decorative stone instead of bark mulch - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me

We use Wally every time we need to do a major haul away. Always friendly and reliable. Shows up when promised and works efficiently.

Wally answered his phone, made the appointment, showed up on time and removed my junk pile at a reasonable fee. He even swept the area afterwards. He also does landscaping and with his professionalism (and a little charm), I will be using him again! I recommend Wally's Hauling. read more

Wally's Hauling - Junk pile - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me

We've used Wally in the past, and I was really impressed. Based on our previous experience, I reached out to him again to have some items hauled away. I set an appointment with Wally but I was unable to be home at the set time. My fiancé met with Wally and showed him the items to be removed. I asked if Wally had given her a price to haul the items away. I was shocked and appalled when my fiancé told me the cost was going to be $650. I asked to talk to Wally, who was standing next to my fiancé at the time. I told Wally $650 was outrageous and Wally immediately lowered the price to $495. I think $495 was still too much but I was in a bind because we needed to make room for a load I was bringing in over the next few days (I'm in the process of moving in). After speaking with Wally I determined he was taking advantage of my fiancé because she's a woman. I've never been so insulted and appalled. Needless to say, we won't be using Wally anymore. Felt the need to post this encounter so that Wally doesn't try to take advantage of any other women out there. read more

I've used Wally for several years for landscape work, yard cleanup, and hauling. He's superb. He's really friendly and easy to schedule with. He's also super knowledgeable about plants and their needs, so I'm comfortable with him making great choices for our landscaping. Love Wally and his team! read more

I called Wally initially to do what his truck says, hauling. What I have since learned is that Wally does everything else, they work on my yard, do weedeating, the tree trimming, and he's so fast, and the work is really really well done. I can tell he's a perfectionist, and he even fixed my gate that wasn't working, and replated some tomatoes that were too close together. I like him personally, I think he's a good person, and I trust him at my property and with codes. I think I will call Wally for any kind of handy man repair and work in the yard, as well as hauling. If you want something done right, call Wally. I had other guys, cheaper, but they didn't do the work as well. read more

Just adding a little review for Wally's Hauling. We have used Wally's hauling service several times over the last 10 years. Wally is not only a nice guy, but runs a great crew. They made short work of our large hauling needs, taking a ton of stree off me. Wally communicates with the customer really well and left my home clean of all debris. He is great value for the service. read more

Wally responded to my call with almost no delay, setup a time and arrived as planned. He was immediately about "getting things done" and didn't waste any time assessing the scene and getting to work. In short order he and his co-worker had my various construction refuse and other items loaded on to the truck (it was a full truck load!) and they did an perfect clean-up job taking the time to clean sweep my entire side yard! Wally was really kind and funny, with a great "can do" approach. I know exactly who I'm calling for all my hauling needs (and he is extremely resourceful with fence and landscape services available, as well!) 5 stars all the way! read more

Very thankful and will for sure use him again. read more

Such nice people, it was fast, and just did the job. Unlike other hauling services Wally was very friendly and did it in the same day.

Wally is always good to help the people in his community. Thank you for the quick response even on small jobs.

Wally set up one of his guys to help me move on a Sunday-back on Labor Day. The guy had seen the amount of boxes + bed to move & brought smallest truck anyway, so move took 3 trips. I was 2nd laborer. Guy then insisted on Wally's full rate of $115 per hour, so $400 for 3 1/2 hrs and refused to give me receipt. After 3 emails and phone calls still no receipt . Never been ripped off by any business like this. I still plan to go to the offices in Novato or possible legal action read more

Wally is great! Very responsive and comes straight away, even to just give a quote. He's courteous, prompt, helpful, and does a good job. I'll be using him again. Bonus... He's also a lovely person. read more

Wally's Hauling, San Rafael http://www.haulingservicemarin.com We had a mixture of old furniture and construction debris that had to be hauled away. I called Wally yesterday and he was here at 8:00 this morning with his dump truck. In less than an hour he was done and the truck was full. Wally also does gardening and landscaping and by the look of his home he's very good at it. I got a quote for trimming and untangling an interlocked mass of bay, acia, and oak in our side yard while he was here. He's very meticulous. His truck is clean and well maintained. He speaks perfect English. In short he was a delight to work with. Highly recommended! read more

We have only very good things to say about Wally's Hauling. We first had Wally haul away our old hot tub & his rate was very reasonable. More recently, we needed a fence re-built with some urgency since it was required to pass inspection & move forward with re-finishing our pool. It was a big project & time was of the essence. Wally & his crew completed the project in a week & they did a BEAUTIFUL job, utilizing many remnants of the old fence & thereby saving us thousands of $. Wally's price on this project was very competitive. Wally is a responsible & pleasant contractor to work with. He follows through & shows up when he says he's going to be there. It was a pleasure to work with him & we would highly recommend him & his crew for any project you are considering! read more

I had some old furniture and some items that were old and rusty that just took up space in my side yard. So I called Wally after seeing his truck moving around my neighborhood in Novato, always seemed busy and on the go. He checked out my stuff, gave a very fair quote, and what can I say, the next morning it was all gone!! He left the space in better condition than it was before he got there!! He's very polite, efficient, and likes to help in whatever way he can. It was my first time using his service but I will definitely use him again! I recommend his service for any hauling job, and I'll probably hire him to do some landscape work too.
