Sean and his team did a stellar job repainting the eaves on our two story house. We live near the beach so they were getting pretty beaten up even though they had been painted a few (3) years ago. They did a thorough job prepping the wood and the results are beautiful. Sean said that they should not chip like the last job. I'm looking forward to seeing how they withstand the sand and damp. Where to start? First off, Sean, the owner, is very professional who provides accurate price quotes, plus he's an overall great guy. He's very kind, understanding, and genuine. Andrew and Kaleb, his employees, represent his company as well as full fill his personalities. They had to sand down the ivy scars, seal potentially damaging leaks, and amongst many other minor cosmetic damages to our 1901 home. Our family works a wide variety of hours and they respectful to each our sleep schedules during the whole process. Sean was a no show several days and never finished the job. I take responsibility for not signing a contract but I was in the midst of serious family emergency and could not fully commit my attention to my suddenly leaking kitchen ceiling that needed repairs. One wall was left unpainted and he said he never agreed to paint it, only repair the drywall and texture it. He said that my contractor was going to paint that wall. I had no other contractor, but he refused to complete the job after being paid in full. The work that wdone was nice. His employee was kind and courteous and patched a small hole that was unrelated to ceiling damage. Sean also questioned on whether my child was a boy, or a girl. I've been working with Sean from Wallworx for several years. He has painted the exterior and interior of our downtown medical office building. It's a Historical craftsman building with specific painting requirements and Sean helped us pick the proper colors to accentuate the architecture and maintain the historic look. We received bids from 5 local companies to paint the interior of our condo. Sean came out and gave us a detailed estimate and a plan for painting the ceiling, walls, and stair railings. To complicate issues we had another contractor coming to remove the asbestos popcorn ceiling and we were going to out of town during the entire project. Sean was able to work with the other contractor and spent the extra time needed to repair and texture the ceilings after the removal of the popcorn texture. Sean communicated with us on almost a daily basis about the progress and details of the project. We found him to be honest, hard working, and an excellent painter. He had done a great job getting my client's house ready to sell, and just happened to be available when I needed a condo painted for another client. Not great! I'm guessing Sean edits his reviews so that you only see the good ones. He painted some cabinets for us and didn't prep very well so I've had to go back and do a lot of touching up. When I called him back to address some of the issues, I got a bit of an attitude. I would not recommend him. read more
