My door has been repaired, and they are compensating me for the inconvenience, which I greatly appreciate. I should also note that my mother purchased hurricane-rated impact French doors for her patio at the same time I ordered my front door from Sunset View. They did an excellent job with that installation. I would likely use Sunset View again in the future.

My electric bill is $85 for a 2500ft home now. My experience with Ecoview has been wonderful! Our installers were SPECTACULAR. So professional. Bagged every window to minimize construction dust in my home. Vacuumed. They installed thoroughly using the correct long screws and spray foam around every window, then trim and caulk. Didn't damage any of my stucco or drywall. My windows all work great and sit squarely. No complaints at ALL about the installation or quality. Ecoview was my lowest quote for my impact windows but had the best warranty which is why I went with them. At first, the price made me nervous but now I'm so glad I didn't waste extra money with another company. The only feedback I have is that the original estimator (owners son I believe) was young and made some unprofessional comments while he was at my house. He commented about my mattress being on the floor in my room (none of his business but I was clearly moving in- I had boxes everywhere!). I also had to call to check on the status of my windows and called again to schedule. No issues there but be sure to check on things yourself if you want them done quickly! Carlos, the owner, has been spectacular. He came out to my house and met with me before I ordered. He was so thorough, knowledgeable, not sales-y. Really had a wonderful experience working with them. Still waiting on my inspections because one window was delivered to Ecoview damaged and has to be replaced- totally understandable! I'm talking about the window bays. They also shattered one front window as they installed it, requiring taping up the area and waiting weeks for a new one to be ordered and received. This bumped out our inspection, allowing the sun to bake on all of those stickers that are kept on until inspection. Our mistake was to patch and paint prior to window install. But we didn't think they would damage so many areas and not repair them.

I decided to have impact doors and windows installed in my two condos (6 windows and 2 front doors)…read moreand picked HPW as they installed 3 impact windows in my condo back in 2006. HPW only does windows and doors--keep that mind while reading the rest of this review. Day and night difference. In 2006 they installed the 3 windows in half a day and there has never had a problem. In 2015 they installed six windows and 2 front doors but it took them more than 15 times to come and get them right. Two times they cancelled mid-morning when they were supposed to start the job (first time they didn't have an installer although they had called me and scheduled the job -- second time, the installer had the flu and couldn't come). Finally, when they did come (and since I travel quite a bit is is difficult getting me while in town and twice I cancelled trips to accomodate their installation) they were quite inadequate and I was told that they couldn't find installers and they kept having to fire installers. They installed one of the front impact doors backwards and the other door so crooked it was unacceptable. Also, the doors weatherstripping didn't fit or work -- I could see the outside from inside which means weather and bugs could get in; I had to point that out to them! Both door locks were supposed to be keyed different from each other -- they keyed them the same although it was written into the contract. When the building inspector came, I had to be there but the company wasn't there. Also, please note that peepholes on front residential doors are NOT included and painting of the doors is not included. Needless to say they lack any quality in installation and I found the Project Manager to be swarmy and very difficult to work with -- in fact, I finally told them NOT to send him back (a first for me to ever do this) and to send the sales guy who knows what he is doing. The sales guy rekeyed the lock, got the weatherstripping fixed so now I cannot see the outside, and tried to negotiate a better relationship with me. This company also goes by CDA Solutions so beware. I live in a small condo development -- all neighbors were privy to all the noise and installation and could not believe the lack of quality and all the different times they had to come out. The HOA Association strongly recommends that no one in the development use this company. My recommendation to anyone looking for windows and doors is to steer clear of this company. This is all they do and they cannot even do it.
