Your dog is best at home with an indoor Camera. Then it is locked away, where it can't play with other dogs that are right in front of her. Probably have no access to water, food or treats. First time I left my dog with food And treats. None of them were given to her within the six hours that she was there. Second time I dropped her off, I received her from a crate while other little dogs where roaming free and the top of her head flat. I asked what happened to her, and they told me that it's possible her hair was flat from the rain or dog drool. This third time I dropped her off is when she's peed herself when she saw me, she was again not socialized at all and locked away. You are paying $40 dollars for this. Nothing special and no Guarantee that your dog will actually be able to play or really be looked out for assuming no one was watching if dogs were drooling on her, or food and treats that you bring will be given.

We also got multiple photos from Elizabeth while we were on our trip. She responded to our texts with questions immediately, but she almost always sent us updates before we thought to ask. And ever since we came home, Miss Pickle has been more affectionate, brave, and playful then before we went on our trip. I am going to say that is because of the consistent care and affection that she got while we were away, as well as some sort of wonderful magic from Elizabeth. We have a rescue dog with some significant behavioral issues from prior abuse and neglect. I've been using Rochester Dog Walkers for almost two years now for my 6 year old rescue dog. I work…read morelong days, and while he's generally a couch potato, he loves to get outside and really likes (most) people so I like having someone come give him some company and let him out a few days a week. RDW has two different scheduling options - you can schedule on your own as needed or you can join the Pack which includes a walk every weekday (at a discount) as well as several other benefits. My work schedule is (unfortunately for me) variable, so a pack membership just didn't make sense, though it would almost certainly be worth it for someone who needs that consistency. The "a la carte" option is very simple - just request your walks for the following week by Wednesday. I try to request several weeks at a time, but on occasion my schedule comes out late or I forget, and RDW has always been very helpful. I work some evenings, holidays, and weekends and RDW can accommodate all of those which is rare. Customer service is AMAZING. I really appreciated the time B took on our first meeting to get to know my dog and to ask such great questions to figure out what my needs were. Likely due to my ever changing schedule, there are multiple dog walkers who come to my house. I've never had an issue with any of them. Any time a new staff member needs to be introduced to my dog, one of our existing walkers comes with to facilitate that process. Communication is easy; when I have had to get in touch with them I have always had a response within a few hours. You can send an email or chat directly with walkers in the app. My dog has some personality quirks (unsure what life was like for him before being with me) that we've had to work with - RDW has been very understanding about this and willing to work with us to make sure everyone, including my dog, stays safe. In general, RDW makes me feel like I have people in my corner who care about my dog as much as I do. Seeing the update from my dog walker that day and photos is always a bright spot during a hectic shift at work. I know my guy is having the best time with his friends at RDW, and I am so happy I found this business. I cannot recommend RDW enough. Worth every penny.

The dogs behavior has improved significantly since RDW started providing a sense of routine for them, instead of me fitting them in whenever I can. A dream come true really.
