I boarded my 2 large dogs with them and explained my dogs' health issues in detail and was told I would need to pay extra for administering medication to one of them who was suffering with an ear infection and allergies. When I picked him up his ear infection was WORSE, his allergies much worse and he had developed a skin infection that was bright red and visible, and his anxiety was off the charts in spite of being on anti-anxiety medication. Both of my dogs smelled of urine and when I unpacked the remaining food, treats, + medication, it was obvious that they were not provided with all of their medications or treats.

The inside looked very clean and was relatively quiet (compared to other dog boarding facilities I've been to). The staff were polite and took the time to make sure my dog had all of her vaccinations. My dog came home not seeming restless or anxious, so I felt like they took good care of her throughout the stay. This was good experience and I plan to keep boarding my dog here in the future.

A little more than a 1 year ago, a neighbor recommended Home Sweet Home pet sitters to us. At that…read moretime we had 2 large breed dogs ( each 100lbs), and they were 4 years and 9 years old, so they had different dietary, exercise and medical needs. As you can imagine, not everyone would sign up for the job! Tony came over and met our dogs...he was comfortable with them as they were with him. We went over their schedules, etc. he took notes and we were ready for our weekend away. When we came home, the dogs were happy, well-fed/exercised, and we had a personal note from each of Tony's visits, describing what he and our dogs did, hoe they behaved, and what they'd eaten, etc. In addition to caring for our pups, he brought in package deliveries, mail, and brought our trash cans into the garage from the curb, just as an extra service! We knew we'd found "a keeper'! Over the next year, Tony became our regular pet sitter, and we had complete confidence in him and his time with our fur babies. Last October, sadly, our 9-yr, old female was diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), which is basically canine ALS. We were told she may last 2 months or 2 years. At first she managed it very well, as it only; affected 1 of her back legs, and she adjusted to that, falling occasionally and not being able to run as fast as she once had, but quickly deteriorated, and could only go on short walks, falling as many as 10x's on those walks. We showed Tony how we picked her up and got her adjusted. We even got her "walking wheels", but she never mastered them, so we managed as best we could. By March, both back legs were affected, and we had to "wheelbarrow her around...Tony jumped right and learned how to help her just as we did, with as much empathy and love compassion as if she were his beloved pet! By May, she could really only drag herself around, but still found enjoyment in swimming, which she did daily, but it was a lot of work. We were now, literally, carrying her out of the pool, and Tony did that, too. In June, our poor girl was suffering, and we had to attend a family wedding in California. (Had it been any other trip, we most certainly would have canceled,) We asked Tony if he would be available, and asked him if, in our absence, something happened to our sweet girl, would he be willing to take her to our vet, etc. He agreed w/o hesitation. Thanks to Tony, our sweet girl lived until we came home and could be with her on her last days. Right after we lost our sweet girl, we received a beautiful sympathy card from Tony, along with a lovely framed picture of our girl that Tony had taken, ball in her mouth, swimming - in her happy place. Our pets are our family, and Tony and Lisa treat our pets as their family. We cannot recommend Home Sweet Home Pet Sitting Service highly enough! As a lifetime cat owner, my family had to board our pets when we took vacations growing up, so I was kind of used to leaving my babies in good hands, but when I mentioned the idea of a boarding clinic to Tori, she gave me a firm, NEVER! Then, one day we got an exterminator notice on our door stating that pets could not be in the apartment the following day. With no other option on such short notice, I searched for a kennel for our baby and came across Mt. Tabor. I called and was greeted with a friendly, welcoming receptionist on the other end. I knew that if I picked a mediocre kennel, Tori would kill me, so I asked some pretty strange questions like, "how much does someone play with the pets?" The receptionist was very assuring that Richard would be well taken care of. The moment I stepped foot in the kennel I knew that everything would be okay. The staff loves Richard and always makes sure he is fed. He gets more attention there than he probably does at home because the staff loves to play with him. After a great day visit, we got a card in the mail for a free night of boarding. We took him back one night when we were travelling to Boone. This time, Tori came with me. We asked for a tour of the kennel and had a nice conversation with one of the employees about her own pets. Mt. Tabor is a very welcoming place staffed by animal lovers. They have lots of upgrade options and you can pay for extra playtime. I always feel extremely comfortable leaving Richard here. It's honestly the best kennel I've worked with.

I have taken my cat to this business twice to be groomed due to not knowing of another place that…read moreprovided a grooming service for cats. They did a decent job both times. I call about a month ago on a Friday, person on the phone stated she assist with the groomer who does the cats and would have her call me the upcoming Monday. No one never called so I waited till Wed. The lady who answered the phone said she was on the othef phone line with the groomer. She said she would wrote my phone number down and have her call me. NO call. Not the way to do business. I was never told of them having any issues with my cat. So my new found feline groomer is worth the drive to Greensboro. Polite and prompt to make contact. Thank God they deal with strictly felines for grooming and boarding! PURR Life!

This is the first time I've hired a groomer (let alone mobile groomer). I am watching a lab for 2+…read moreweeks and he needed his nails trimmed. I didn't want to take him to a pet store on my own. The Cuddle Cutz price was extremely affordable, the same as a pet store, and Cuddle Cutz was coming to my home on my schedule! I have a long haired cat and added a sanitary trim and paw trim to the dog's nail trim. This was also very affordable. The Cuddle Cutz team arrived a few minutes early and the dog and cat immediately ran up to greet them. The team have a very calm presence. Cuddle Cutz did the grooming in my downstairs bathroom. Both animals were comfortable in this space. Cuddle Cutz brought a portable grooming table, vacuum, broom, dustpan, and of course the "tackle box" of grooming supplies. Also treats! They were extremely fast and only took around 15 minutes for both animals. It was a very easy transaction and I will call them for any future grooming needs.
