My husband and I wanted to better understand our amazing but anxiety-driven rescue, especially as we prepared to have our first baby in the house. Our Winston boy was the sweetest dog and was typically very easy to train. However, he was very skittish around strangers inside our home and outside of our home. He also struggled with strangers, dogs, bikes, etc while we were on walks. Because of his anxiety, he would usually lash out with loud barks and sometimes would lunge toward the "threat". We found Brendan with Shea-9, and loved the fact that he understood anxious dogs, and was willing to do 1:1 training with us so we could better understand Winston's behaviors. And after 10 sessions, we have seen a night and day difference with our dog. He heels and stays behind us or right at our side on walks, where he used to pull ahead before. He is more confident around the things that used to scare him, and doesn't lash out anymore. We even took him to very crowded trails with lots of people, bikes, and dogs, and he did great! He knows his "place" and to wait there until we release him, which will be very helpful with a baby on the way. We even have enough confidence in him now to let him off leash occasionally. We are so grateful to Brendan for helping us all restore our confidence and relationship with each other. His training was PERFECT and he really helped us understand our Winston so much better. We are extremely grateful and would highly recommend him to anyone! read more
