The location was super clean and well-organized. I liked that the machines were arranged by size, with the larger ones up front and smaller ones in the back--this made everything really easy to navigate. There was plenty of seating, plus vending machines for both laundry supplies and snacks. They even had a children's area with coloring books, which I thought was a really thoughtful touch. The employee I interacted with was very friendly and helpful, and took the time to explain how everything worked. I did two loads of laundry for about $7 and was in and out in around an hour. Honestly, I'd come back just to wash bigger items like comforters since my own machines always struggle with bedding. Definitely a great first laundromat experience!

Laundry Matters has been a life saver! For a per-pound price, they pick up all my laundry (they provide the laundry bags) and return it, impeccably washed and folded/hung, the next day. They even text me with a pickup/drop off time window that is remarkably accurate. Their customer service is excellent. They have been totally responsive to every request. I couldn't be happier! We understand that things happen but this jacket has only been worn 3-4 times. They only offered to give us $60 for replacement and would not consider anything more. It will cost us much more than $60 for a replacement jacket. We will never bring anything there again.

He's gone back and used them several times, they are located in the "historic Kernersville" area and their prices are impressively low. Prior to this, hubby took his suit/tie/dress shirt to another dry cleaner who wouldn't do an heavy starch on his shirt and when he asked them to do it again, the person behind the counter argued with him saying it would turn yellow and they couldn't do it. Hubby said the shirt looked like they never cleaned it and was all wrinkled. When he found Modern Cleaners, he said the service was friendly and they did the job right the first time. When I picked up hubby's suit/tie/shirt this last time, I was pleasantly impressed with this quaint little shop, easy parking in their own lot, they also do alterations inside the shop. Their prices (coming from Orlando, FL) were so low I had to look twice in disbelief. It was less than 8 bucks to have all of my husband's clothes (suit jacket/tie/dress shirt) - dunno what hubby did with his pants but wasn't the dry cleaners fault - lol - anyway highly recommended even though we're not going to be around long enough to continue to go here. The guy working behind the counter asked me, where my husband was - they know their customers too!
