This tasting tour was great, although there were some pros and cons. We did the combo tour so we…read morewent to a winery, distillery, and a brewery. The pros: Our tour guide/bus driver, Don, was excellent. He seriously made the whole trip. He was so kind and helpful and fun loving, he was a great match for our group. The wine tour was excellent we had an extensive tour of the grounds and they make their wine. It was the best tour we got the whole trip. The brewery had corn hole which made a great activity as our day was winding down. The pub lunch was great and had choices for everyone. Cons: Definitely overpriced for "tasting tours" when out of the three places when we only got one real "tour". Pretty disappointed and we all wished we got actual tours of the distillery and brewery since that is what we paid for. We didn't get to stay at the winery very long or hang out before we had to leave-- we thought this was the best location out of all three.

It was time to celebrate a birthday in our group and we had some ideas; however, our first issue…read morewas transportation. Tastings and Tours has a well rounded program. We were able to take the train from Center City to Doylestown. At Doylestown, their driver - Linda (actually the founder) was there to greet us. Leading up to the planning of this event, we worked with Linda and had a very good experience. She knew the area, suggested eateries and talked about the country side. All this just added what I call "free extras" to the already low price. Plus there are shopping baskets, bottles of water, and storage cases for new wine while on your journey. This is a well thought out operation. We had a group of 5. Our biggest concern is who we would sit with on the bus; however, after the first stop everyone was loosened up (the first stop allows you to pour or own samples!) and the conversations just started rolling out. We had a great time and thanks to Linda for making it work out.

Just a…read moreshort stroll from our #WedgwoodInn B&B , we enjoyed our pre- theater brunch / lunch prior to attending @Cat on a Hot Tim Roof at the #BucksCountyPlayhouse Our innkeepers suggested we let our server know our thoughts megrame for the matinee & the service was prompt & professional. The historic stone restaurant was very impressive. The Hugh Walk/In fireplace dating back to the 1700s was very impressive as were the old exposed wood beams and floors. Glad we could keep our car parked @Wedgwood Inn cause this restaurant has no onsite parking! Sleep at Wedgwood Inn and walk t/o #NewHope

5- stars for the food, location & ambiance. This is why we keep going back, and honestly? We'll…read moreprobably go back again, but buyer needs to beware. Each time we return I am met with a 1-2 star review feeling based on cost / billing / and service I just can't shake. Go for the food. Stay because you get left for untold amount of time. Service is slow. We've been there 4 times and 1 time service was amazing. This last time we went, we were sat a table that was not a dinner table. I think it was an ill sized coffee table with a table cloth on it. The adults knees were above the table and the kids were sat in a couch that hit the floor. No mention or thought was given to who was sitting in this ridiculous makeshift table. Finally and the reason I was compelled to write a review - watch your bill. You have to put a downpayment down for reservations and 1x I went this was not deducted from my bill - I should have checked of course before I left, but last time I did not and had to go back and forth a few times to get my money back. And finally, soft drinks / lemonade. Glasses are small, packed with ice and when the server asks "do you want another drink" - he doesn't mention it will be nearly 5 dollars for minute maid lemonade. When you are (gladly) spending nearly 30 dollars for a burger to then have to spend 5 bucks a soft drink that is clearly understood as a free refill is a bummer. Hunched over celebrating my birthday this year - hit with a silly bill $20+ in lemonade - left to sit with no check in for a silly amount of time. There are some small changes to service and experience that would make this place a true 5 star event.

The Salt House - The burger to end all burgers. If French Onion soup and the best burger ever made a baby, this is the baby you'd want to eat.
