I…read morecalled right after my appointment with Mark Dye and they were able to fit me in the following week when I explained that I had been in pain for 2 week. The office is located off Eisenhower Dr and across from a gated apartment complex. There is parking to the right and along the front. The waiting area was clean and cute and I was met by two friendly young ladies who checked me in. I met with Dr. Hinchey who was a very knowledgeable and direct person. I was in/out without 20 minutes total from checking in and going to the back. He came in, introduced himself, took a quick look in my mouth reviewed my X-rays and then told me his recommendations. We decided to remove only 1 of my wisdom teeth and I was able to get an appointment set up for the following day. Surgery day was pretty standard. I took care of my remaining balance after insurance and then was taken to the room where my procedure would take place. Everyone was well organized and I was in and out within 30 minutes which is faster than I thought it would be. I removed 1 stars due to one of the staff members and how she treated me before and after my surgery and my driver.

Only if we had a "leftover amount" would they file health in addition to dental insurance for removal of impacted wisdom teeth for my daughter. I had to pay over $200.00 up front and fight with them to get them to file health. The day of the procedure, we NEVER spoke with a Dr., a nurse came and got her, took her back and then said pull around back to pick her up. Pull in a little drive with nothing but a door to open to get my child and had to back out of the space. (What if it had been raining? No covered shelter) Did not provide ice packs and we had to drive 1 1/2 hours back home. Swelling was definitely going to set in before we got home so had to find somewhere in Savannah that had some type of ice pack as we weren't told anything about not providing ice packs (this is our 3rd child with wisdom teeth removal). Definitely NOT a good experience. The girls at the front desk acted like we were bothering them when we asked questions and even trying to check in. Very unprofessional environment from beginning to end. Even spoke to someone before the initial appt and gave all insurance info and emailed that info with the referral and still said they didn't have any of it. They expect customers to do what doctor's offices should be doing. I was constantly calling the office to follow on the status of my authorization, which should have been handled by someone in the office. This went on for over a month. It's unfortunate because the doctor provides thorough feedback and treatment, however due to the horrible service received from the front office, it makes patients not want to return EVER. He was a very young gentleman and spent a large portion of the appointment talking about sex, which made me extremely uncomfortable and felt completely inappropriate in a medical setting. At the end of the visit, he told me I would need teeth pulled, but by that point I was so uncomfortable that all I could think about was getting out of the room.
