A few months later, I went back after having insidious molar pain that was severe enough to wake me from my sleep. Long story short, I needed a root canal. I believe a root canal was likely the appropriate treatment plan. However, almost 6 months later I am still having problems with the tooth. I went back in at which time Dr. Dickinson said he likely missed a nerve during the root canal. I was hesitant to let him perform a second root canal so he "corrected the bite" which helped a little with the pain. I still have intermittent pain and now have daily bleeding from the gums around that tooth. (This is $2,400 later out of my own pocket). I am a health freak! I floss 1-2x a day. I use Tom's toothpaste. I use charcoal to whiten my teeth instead of chemicals that can ruin the enamel. If you look at most of my Yelp reviews, they are positive.
