Burned hair and scalp to the point that hands full of hair was falling out, doctors indicated chemical burns from products being left on hair and scalp for too long...it took just over a year to recover from this disaster and would rate in negative numbers if allowed. read more

Walker does great hair!! I'm a 67 year old male with a full head of grey hair. I just recently moved from Vegas to the STG Area and was going back to Vegas to have my haircuts, but that drive was getting old so I was eager to try Walker for a cut. I've been having my hair cut/styled by professional hairdressers/stylists since I was about 15 years old and going to an old-fashioned barber here in town was just not in the cards for me. Walker gave me a superb cut and improved on the style that I became used to from my former hair stylist in LV. Walker is not only a great hairdresser, he's very interesting and extremely pleasant to chat with on all kinds of topics!! No more Vegas hair!! Thanks, Walker! See you soon! read more

Established in 2023.

From the farm life to city life, hair has always been a huge passion of mine. The beauty of color, the precision of cutting, and impact it can make on ones' self-worth drives me to push for greatness. I first fell deep in love with doing hair when I went to my first hair show in Seattle. It's amazing to me how much hair can change and transform someone, and I totally use that same mindset with every client. Having fabulous hair makes you instantly feel amazing! Prior to attending Cinta Aveda Institute, I was a Medical Laboratory Scientist in the United States Navy for close to 8 years. By day, I was saving lives at the hospital, and with any possible off time I would be glamming up my friends. I graduated top of his class, and having achieving my cosmetology license in 2020, I soon worked at two prestigious hair salons in the Bay Area. With that Knowledge & expereince I became "the talk of the town" in St. George, UT. This gave me the abition and drive to open WalkerSmithHair.

I finally realized in 2019 that I needed to do what I loved doing in life, and that was being a hairstylist. For me, hair is an art, a science, and passion. Moving to St. George Utah and showing my talent, skills, color techniques, talents as a former instructor at Paul Michel's school caught the attention of a local magazine that wrote an amazing exposay about me.
