Nice material samples. Decent price for the job. They sent an estiamte in email. I did not accept it or sign it, since it's a shared fence with my neighbor we need to discuss. I told them I will get back to them once we have an answer. Next thing I know I'm scheduled and getting an invoice. Based on this initial interaction would not recommend. Will update if my opinion changes.

He listened to all my far-fetched ideas and was patient with me the entire time, but I eventually had to scale back some of those crazy ideas so I could stay within my budget. After many design iterations and so many wishful thinking, I finally decided on what was best for my backyard. Giovanni was very patient with my many changes and ideas and when I finalized the design, his awesome crew went to work. After 4 years of unused backyard space and being probably the last house on my block without a family backyard, I can now say we have a backyard that finally has an identity. The entire process was truly remarkable. Giovanni truly has a keen eye, great understanding and knowledge of materials, working with the materials vendors and providing feedback on changes in the design as well as provide suggestions as well as communicating the work to his fantastic crew that put many hours of physical labor, working under the elements and spending much time and effort to make all of this possible. His crew works hard and they communicate well together. Only the final day of work, I can see that even the crew was truly amazed at the final product that came to fruition with their own hands. I could see a lot of pride from their faces when they finished out the last day as they took pictures of their work. They arrived just after 8, got right to work removing the old fence and worked straight through until 3:30. The gates came complete with locking latches and keys. Hayden gave me a lesson in how to lock the gates from either or both sides. They are so cool. The team totally cleaned up and removed all construction debris. Our deck was nearing the end of its life. We sought out multiple deck contractors and just about…read moreevery one of them said it was unsalvageable and that we should replace it. However, replacing the deck would mean having to update it to current building codes and permits, which would then mean having to hire an engineer for our small 6' x 14' deck... Bruce came over, took a look and casually said, we can add more supports and fix the deck instead of having to replace it. He walked us through all the repairs he would do, he listened to our concerns and wrote up an estimate that weekend. I choose to hire him because of his straightforwardness in answering all my questions, he was so down to earth and friendly, I felt like he was trustworthy. We went from potentially having to wait months and spend $20,000 on a new replacement deck to spending about $5,000 on repairs and taking considerably less time. They were booked out till about October and would contact us when the time came closer, they did just that and were able to fix the deck in a day. We hired him to come back to build a 2nd retaining wall, his son came out and built it in less than an hour. They used high quality materials, I feel like the wood used will last a long time. A year later, we noticed that the deck was starting to sink and consulted with Bruce. He came over, took a look and figured it was probably the ground material was soft and causing the deck to sink. He offered to fix it, FREE OF CHARGE. It wasn't his fault the ground was soft, it just shows how much integrity he has in his work. Hands down, I would recommend him to anyone. My neighbor immediately asked for his contact!
